virginia is gaining national attention. the state's largest school district says it will defy governor youngkin guidance on bathrooms and pronouns for transgender students. school district did a legal review and determined fairfax county public school policy are consistent with anti-discrimination law as defined by new model policy. governor youngkin is firing back saying the school district is pushing false notion it knows what is better than a child than the parent and the school board should follow the law. not the only state rights are under attack. in new jersey, we are awaiting a ruling where the office sued school district to neatotify parents if a child as young as five want to gender -- raymond, i want to play the liberal ideology for which all policies spring. watch it, they tell you what they want to do. >> i'm not going to let parents come into school and take books out and make their own decision. >> vetoed it. >> you vetoed it. >> stop the bill, parents shouldn't tell schools what to teach. >> when you see our kids, they are our kids, our communities. our children, but it is true, they are all our children, they are not like somebody's children. >> no such thing as someone else's child, no such i think this as someone else's child, our nation's children are all our children. >> kayleigh: no sir, blake and nash are my children issue not joe biden's children. >> we lived in fairfax, virginia, this was one of the premiere, school districts in america. we pulled them out because we saw the beginning of this. what upon has, you have a school district, a very wealthy one issue at war with parental authority and oversight and they are using gender identity to create a wedge between the parent and child, as you said, as young as five years old. that child can have a separate identity at school, come home and live different identity and the state will protect the parent from learning that information from your child, but bar you from learning it in some cases. this is sidduous, governor youngkin is right to come down on the side of parents. 14th amendment determines parent can guide and determine education and upbringing of their child. this is a constitutional crisis, i know you will get into more of them, this will have to be taken to the supreme court. we need a ruling so this madness can stop every local area and school district. >> kayleigh: we do, i hate to tell fairfax county, voters run states and voters gave governor glenn youngkin a landmark victory in 2021. republicans do not win on education, democrats do. bring in governor glenn youngkin, talk about parent rights and mcauliffe talk about taking away parent rights. for voters who said education was top priority, 71% went for glenn youngkin. he won on education by saying parents have a right to know. >> dr. saphier: that is right, fairfax county, only a third voted for youngkin. republicans are gaining traction because of issues. democrats are catching along, as well. "u.s.a. today," opinion piece by ceo of democrats for education reform said this. consistently high polling numbers indicate, school choice and no school choice has been settled, school choice wins. when it comes to public education, it is designed to separate parents from children. you can't choose your school, principal, classes. now an identity crisis or mental health issues. there are very few situations where a child potentially is in danger in a home, perhaps domestic violence, they are exploiting this scenario and keeping the parent from the children is best for kids. that is not what is best for the kid and anyone who tries to separate me for my kids, i will not stand for it. if you cannot afford private school and cannot choose schools, you have to go wherever they tell you. democrats may start supporting school choice, if you live in a blue state, it will not matter, there will be no schools to choose that have not gone to wokeism. >> kayleigh: dagen, you have standoff between fairfax school district and governor. here is what daily wires about biden and justice. e-mail to local school board members, doj community relagsz services it was aware of tension in roanoke. listen to this part, government conciliation specialist told board member the agency specialized in responding to communicate tension. i remember merrick garland's doj talking to the fbi to look at parents in virginia after the national school board association considered them domestic terrorists. >> dagen: right and national school board association wrote that letter to the white house in coordination with the white house, people within the white house helped national school board association make edits to it. it was collusion to target parents and by the way, that letter was all about parents. one, it was loudoun county because there was gender fluid individual who assaulted one, but two girls. it was about masking. parents were set about children having to wear masks, it was hurt development. i digress. this is an embarrassment, but this is on brand for merrick garland and the people in the justice department and the fbi thchl is on brand, though, for what joe biden and his cronies have been up to. i want to go back quickly to something that was issued last year. joe biden justice department sent a letter to every single state attorneys general warning they would be violating civil rights laws if they kept minors from receiving gender affirming care. then and you cannot find this, it has been scrubbed from the internet, office upon of population affair issued guide to explain what that was and it included four young people, puberty blocker during puberty, hormone therapy in early adolescence. these are procedures that have been reversed overseas. bit by bit, the insanity of the left, the insidious ideology when you have governor of major state like new jersey that believe schools have rights to keep secrets from inner pas about their own children and he'll go to court to make sure that happens. that is the left. >> kayleigh: and send? government conciliation person from the department of justice. >> dr. saphier: this is counter productive to raising young adults and encourages secrecy. that is morally wrong. i want my child to feel comfortable sharing his feelings, i encourage that and want him to feel comfortable without judgement. i grew up with cuban american mother, who normally are strict. she gave me respect and i felt open discussing things with her without judgement. i grew to be a responsible adult, that is what we need. there need to be clear boundary between parents and teachers teachers are temporary. >> kayleigh: governor phil murphy doesn't love your child the way you do and joe biden doesn't either. the 2024 presidential race is heating up. and a candidate barely registering a few months ago, may now be the one to watch. and "can you have more carbs?" before you decide... with the freestyle libre 2 system know your glucose level and where it's headed. no fingersticks needed. manage your diabetes with more confidence. and lower your a1c. the number one doctor prescribed cgm. freestyle libre 2. try it for free at freestylelibre.us she runs and plays like a puppy again. his #2s are perfect! he's a brand new dog, all in less than a year. when people switch their dog's food from kibble to the farmer's dog, they often say that it feels like magic. but there's no magic involved. >> i'm torn on the georgia or document? >> i thought it was about the stormy daniels scandal. >> there are so many and i'm overwhelmed. i want to know where they stand on the economy and we are not hearing that often because so much attention is on these indictments that swing voters can't even explain. >> kayleigh: he's right. >> the question is, will he be convicted or not? that will clearly impact, there is polling about whether people would support him after conviction and this runs to heart of due process and credibility of claims, which is definitely in question. however, when you look at polling, independents, 57% of independents support indictments, troubling numbers for the former president. looks like he's run away favorite of the party. he'll secure that nomination. if the man is in courthouse after courthouse after courthouse and having to stand trial, what impact does that have? >> important questions and you said looks like he is the nominee. here is the asterisk, dr. nicole saphier, 37% are locked into trump, maga base, 37% say they are persuadable and 25% say they are not trump. 62% can move. someone like tim scott, an incredible message, vivek ramaswamy takes off, there is a movable universe. >> dr. saphier: absolutely and republicans have a plethora of good candidates, i think vivek ramaswamy is the one to keep an eye on. people that are persuadable would vote for donald trump. it could be business background, mistrust of the government. vivek ramaswamy banner says truth and he continues to push back. he says the government cannot be trusted right now. another drain the swamp. he has energy, a young candidate. i was spriesed at ron desantis, he's not doing as well as i thought he would have done. he has name recognition, can take on establishment and he's a good leader, but it takes more than that. people may be more inclined to go to vivek ramaswamy if donald trump is not an option. >> the debates are important. who cuts through?
