>> brian: ron desantis is not going anywhere either. mark meridith joins us this morning. >> mark: we have seen candidates parachute in and out and fox news polling give us an idea of where things stand ahead of next week's dibait. donald trump continues to dominate in the presidential field among republicans with 53% support. florida governor ron desantis 16% and third place vivek ramaswamy 11% support. our power ranking encompasses everything in the race, details state of where things stand with trump front-runner, governor desantis and south carolina senator tim scott not far behind. for republicans challenging trump, perhaps next week is the chance for the break-out moment to reach millions who are actively eshg valuating primary choices. president biden says he is confident in his re-election chance as rumors swirl it is possible another democrat may challenge the nomination. fox took a look at who is up for grabs. poll shows president biden losing support from hispanic voters compared to 2020 and number of undecided voters surging. this month we have seen a number of top democrats from the cabinet and the vice president and the president himself trying to sell the president's vision about the economy, climate and inflation reduction act. polling shows people are concerned about the economy, for a number of different reasons. >> steve: mark, with the new polls that came out last night, the interesting thing is and we're a year from the election, joe biden beats all the republicans, but all the republicans are within striking distance all within the margin of error, three points this way, three points that way, they are on his heels. the people at the white house in the west wing behind you can't like that. >> mark: you are right. democrats are surprised given where things stand with the economy, with the low unemployment rate. that is why we've heard rumblings, even out loud from congressman from minnesota says he hopes a democrat will come in and try to challenge biden. yes, absolutely, we have seen reports that president biden is vulnerable against match up against former president trump. a lot could change, focus on the economy, a number of x factors could come into play. the election is 445 days away. >> ainsley: shows how strong candidate are, diverse field and all excellent. >> brian: are they concerned the president makes stuff up? >> well, they have been at this point, it is baked in, they feel like justice never will come. some cases, you look at guy and say, i realize the taliban and al qaeda folks have been rel released. under obama and others, terrorists who went back to target americans again. deal with the recycling of the anguish time and time again. leaders of the taliban in afghanistan today were in guantanamo bay. many look at the mastermind of 9/11, art of the architect, if we can't bring him to justice, that guy on the screen, we're fools and that is what we look like today. we are releasing bergdahl and terrorists. when it comes to the end, we've tied our own hands with lawyers and been unable to bring justice to the worst of the worst. it's a shame, i pray this changes public opinion coverage of this changes the way this administration executes it. it didn't happen in afghanistan, why would it happen here?
