in the united states. the america i grew up in is a place where we don't put our political opponents in prison. we let the voters decide who is best to lead the nation. nor did we criminalize political differences because that's what they do in repressive regimes. >> russian opposition activist sinced to 19 years. russian court finding him guilty of founding and funding an extremist organization. >> laura: now, after i read through this latest indictment of trump, i found myself asking how can we now really say that we're any better than what we're seeing in the old former soviet union? we will get to the legal farce that is this indictment in a few moment. but, right now all of you need to know something very important about this liberal fulton county d.a. fani willis. now, after her unconscionablably dragging out her investigation of donald trump for about two and a half years, she was suddenly, last night, in this huge rush, desperate to get the indictment out there. so much so that she took the relatively rare step of keeping a new grand jury after regular business hours. now, she did this for one reason and one reason only, for maximum p.r. effect in prime time, no less. >> i cannot believe this. [laughter] >> yeah. this is not the circumstances in which i expected to be talking to you. >> nor me, rachel. it's always good to talk to you but, honestly, i didn't think that it would be under these circumstances. yet another set of indictments. >> nightmare, trump wants to be the only arbiter of truth and reality. instead of maybe coasting back in over a very weak incumbent, is he now facing jail time and a whole bunch of different places. crazy. >> it may be the very first indictment that carries anything resembling a mandatory minimum sentence. [laughter] >> laura: lawyers all of them i know. now, we all know and they all know that the goal here isn't justice. the goal here is to take donald trump out of political contention in an attempt to throw the 2024 election to biden. to a man who is deteriorating in real time before our eyes. now, if donald trump, let's say had announce that he had had problems with the election but he is retiring from politics, i don't know, in 2021, none of these indictments would have happened at all. instead, they would be focusing on investigating ron desantis on some bogus ground. there is literally no description to adequately capture what a pandora's box of horrors the democrats have opened up here. because, when political prosecutors across four jurisdictions, four are on a wild eyed hunt for a former president and his top advisers, an incendiary precedent has been set. with the dirty work done by alvin bragg, to fani willis, there is no stepping back from this precipice now. now, the case basically boils down to the criminalizing of a aggressive lawyering. because people like john eastman and other experienced legal minds offered the president a novel and, yeah, a controversial approach to challenging the electoral process. and because president trump agreed to follow their advice. well, because he agreed to do that, willis charged them all with an array of state crimes. so the regime media, of course, helped in the lead up to this over the last two years with their clever branding of the trump team's post election legal conclusions. >> tentacles from former president trump's big lie about the election continuing to squeeze american society. >> this all started with the big lie. trump's lie about massive voter fraud in the 2020 election. >> trump's big lie damaging our democracy and now it's embedded in the g.o.p. party platform. >> that hearing is supposed to center on trump's big lie about the election and the people who helped foster it and peddle it. >> how do you think trump's big lie continues to live on? >> laura: but no matter what your view on the election cowk the ultimate big lie is that you can seek to criminalize strong political opposition and not create a really painful boomerang effect. that willis chose to charge trump and 18 others under ricco statutes originally used to take the mob down is another tell. because it sounds so dramatic. >> a fulton county grand jury returned a true bill of indictment. charging 19 individuals with violations of georgia law arising from a criminal conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. in this state. >> laura: she is prime time of course she going to get hair and makeup. you are prime time. now, even if you don't agree with the legal analysis of the trump team post election, the idea that requests a new slate of electors can amount to criminal conduct is obscene. ditto for president trump's georgia georgia official find me 11,000 votsz that's criminal? as if similar lines are weren't uttered across multiple states by democrat party officials who were watching some of the pro-trump early election returns on november 3rd, 2020. find thee those early votes. and if aggressively challenging the outcome of an election is now somehow a state or federal crime, i have a question tonight, where is the indictment against this woman? >> this is not a speech of concession. >> it was not a free and fair elections. of the machinery had broken. thousands of georgians had their voices stolen. >> if it looks like it's rigged it probably is. >> i didn't lose. i quote the votes. we won't know exactly how many because of how they cheated. >> i do have one very affirmative statement to make, we won. [applause] >> and if an organized effort to challenge ballot counting can amount do a criminal conspiracy to subvert democracy, i mean, could you make the argument that, what, george w. bush and al gore's teams should be slapped or should have been slapped with some type of indictment after the 2,000 recount? now, what does full-court press against trump virtually guarantees is that during every election cycle for the foreseeable future, there will be son-in-law urging the party in power to seek dimes against the leading candidate of the other party. >> it's excessive and i think it's also dangerous. it essentially criminalizes, challenges to elections. there's no sos sort of limiting principle in this document. we often if not always have these challenges. some are more supported than others. but they are not crimes. they are seeking judicial review and that assures the public that there is someone watching over these elections. >> laura: now, how can it be that an untested application of laws by prosecutors against a political opponent are celebrated even when the impact to future election as this could in 2024 but when a republican lawyer is working for trump advanced aggressive, maybe novel legal theories. they are all indicted. now, i know a lot of people say this a lot. they say it to me. they wonder why good people or better people don't go into politics. well, with all of this you are seeing the reason why. they don't want anyone to work for a republican in the future let alone run for office. i mean, we know politicians stretch the truth all the time. lawyers are aggressive with their advice and also their theories while representing clients. this happens regularly. that's the way it's always been. i mean, we know bill clinton committed perjury while he was president. but he wasn't indicted. even though he didn't need a novel legal theory to pursue it. comey chose not to indict hillary clinton even though he had ample evidence that she directed that her computer servers be wiped clean. the sense was you don't dry to remove a political candidate by indictment in the middle of an election fight. you let the voters decide. plus all the rhetoric from the left about how these indictments are all efforts to protect democracy, why can't trump's team have legitimately believed that it was they in seeking to have a state challenge to some of these outcomes, they were protecting democracy. want to make sure that every vote was actually counted and fraudulent ones they believe fraudulent weren't. now, recall all the alleged problems that took place in some states where the election laws were changed in the 11th hour to help democrats. with lawyers by the way advancing the novel and untested legal view that because of the covid pandemic, every voter needed to have access to mail-in ballots, drop boxes, extended voting hours, et cetera. was that novel and unusual? you bet it was. now, let's be clear. this may be the last indictment of trump. but it won't be the last indictment of its type. expect to see this scenario repeat itself any time a conservative who rattles the establishment cage gets too close to winning this should be a wake-up call to all serious republicans. you are will be in the crosshairs next. we are going to ask governor desantis about this later in the hour. i know some of you might be saying the following: well, okay, laura, if they get away with this witch-hunt, we will just do the same thing to them next time to get power. we get power. well, again, sorry, the truth is even if a republican attorney general wanted to play these corrosive games against a powerful opposition candidate, the fbi and the career staff of the doj would resist them and would make it impossible virtually. so this dynamic will always and only work one way, to disenfranchise voters across america who would like to vote for the conservative candidate of their choosing. it's the ultimate in election interference through corrupt, politically venal indictments. and who are the real defenders of democracy again? and that's the angle. >> laura: joining me now is missouri senator and member of the senate judiciary committee josh hawley. senator, this sets us on a precipice for, i think, a very, very dangerous period in our society and our electoral processes. at this point, the fulton d.a. has indicated that they will seek higher bonds against any of these defendants who are convicted. and, of course processing would include mug shots. what does that tell you here? >> well, what this tells me is that this is the latest effort to keep the ruling party in power, laura. that's what this is about. this is indictment like, what, number 200. i mean, who knows? there may be more indictments to come. what is clear about this is, this is an effort by the ruling party, the democrat party across states in the federal government to make sure that anybody who criticizes them get indicted it's not just trump though they are focused on trump. also catholics who have had their parishes infiltrated. swat teams sent to their doors. those protested peacefully that the fbi show up and knock at their doors. parents who have gone school board meetings and now been labeled domestic terrorists by the biden administration. i never thought we would see any of this in american history we have seen all of it in just the last couple of years, the common thread is, if you challenge them, if you challenge the ruling party, the ruling elites, they will use the force of laugh against you and, yeah, this is crossing the rubicon, laura. we have got to beat this back. we have got to defeat this attempt to rig an election in real time. because that's what they are trying to do. trying to make sure there is only one outcome to the election in 2024 and it's the democrat winning. >> laura: well, i don't think they would have much of a problem with a different type of republican, like a mitt romney style republican. right? because he maybe wouldn't rattle the cage like someone like a trump or desantis maybe even glenn youngkin would down the road or vivek ramaswamy, someone like that. but, this is a message to anyone who would even think of working for a conservative administration going forward. don't you agree lawyer giving untested hasn't been taken before post election but is a theory that a number of people agree with, some don't. now all bets are off. why would you go into government service? >> absolutely. this is a message they are trying to send a message loud and clear and the message is don't mess with us. why are they going after trump? because he messed with them. he challenged them across the board. he challenged their pro-war policies. he challenged them on ukraine. he challenged their globalist agenda that's ripped off our working class for years. hollowed out the industrial base of this country and made our workers of the country slaves impaired to china and these other nations that have taken away our jobs. taken away our technology. trump challenged all of that and the message is, if you challenge them on this stuff, if you challenge them on these policies they hold dear, they will come after you. if they -- if you challenge them on their pro-abortion religion, they will come after you. so i think the message is real clear. don't challenge us. don't go to work for anybody who will challenge us. don't vote for donald trump or anybody like him or we'll treat you as a domestic terrorist. i will tell you what, laura, this is a recipe for one party rule in this country. if that's the case, this isn't the united states of america anymore our constitutional democracy doesn't exist anymore. >> laura: senator, thank you. now as the angle noted fulton county d.a. fani willis indicted a handful of lawyers working for trump for offering legal argument to the president. how dangerous a precedent does this set? here now in the former deputy independent council sol wisenberg. sol, you heard the angle. couldn't this ultimately just chill the future any aspect of service going forward given people like jeffrey clark. jeffrey clark is indicted here? he is one of the most respected 3wreu8 yent mind. john eastman clerked for a supreme court justice? people might disagree with their theories but i mean, what? >> well, it's interesting that you mentioned jeffrey clark and i know this from sources i absolutely trust high inside the justice department during this period after the election jaffery clark absolutely believed the election was stolen. why is that important? it's important because you have to have a certain level of intent. throughout this indictment there are allegations that people knowingly stated lies, stated falsehoods. but, more importantly, in terms of the charges against president trump, you have got jeffrey clark. he's presidentially appointed. he is confirmed by the senate. he is head of the civil division of doj. he went to harvard undergrad. he went to georgetown law school and he is telling the president that the election has been stolen and that the department of justice can do something about that. and there are other lawyers there who agreed with him equal prominent lawyers. on the other side, there were lawyers telling the president you can't do that. are we to say as a matter of law that the president for picking one set of lawyers over the other is a criminal? i think he has got at least on this part of the indictment the former president has very good potential reliance defense as to your other point, that's the problem with this indictment and the jack smith indictment in d.c. now, there are very narrow allegations and discreet allegations in the georgia indictment that are potentially very dangerous for certain defendants. but what is so disturbing about these two indictments, d.c. and georgia is how much traditionally protected political speech is referenced in these indictments and is considered to be part of criminal activity? that's what i find very, very disturbing. >> mark meadows, of course, was not mentioned in the jack smith indictment. in the atlanta federal indictment. but he is mentioned as one of the co-defendants in the ricco conspiracy by fani willis. he is now moved to change the venue to federal district court out of fulton county is that a legitimate claim that he has here given the very parallel tracks that they are moving in with smith and willis? i think it's a very viable claim. it's certainly not frivolous. it's legitimate it's based on a federal statute that says if you sue or indict at the state level, somebody based upon their actions, in federal office that that can be a grounds for removal. that's a very valid point to raise. and it can be raised by president trump as well and, if you will notice. i think that's one of the reasons that willis added some charges from september of 2021 so she can say this goes beyond when he was president i have clearly, the bulk of the activity alleged against the former president in this indictment is while he was in office and based on activities in office so i think it's quite possible. >> laura: sol, you can indict presidents for lying and lawyers for giving aggressive advice. wow, we have a new world in politics on the law i guess. sol, great to see you. coming up, governor ron desantis, as i said, is going to join us live at the end of the show with his thoughts on this and a lot more. first, what do we need to know about this d.a., fanny willis? well, two georgia reps, marjorie taylor greene and buddy carter are here next. they have a lot to say. i would have told you fulton county. fulton county has long been a bastion for democratic shenanigans. this is another example of it. these drummed up charges here. here we have a former president who has been indicted by a system that is weighed against him. no one is above the law. we all understand this. but this is about revenge, not about justice. >> laura: now congressman, former lt. governor jeff duncan now a cnn contributor let slip what this is really all about. watch this. >> donald trump did his most damage in georgia. he sucked the soul out of the republican party here. he sucked the more rattle out of the republican party. the fiscal responsibility out of the republican party. he sucked our winning percentage out of the republican party. he has taken everything from us. and it is our turn to take it back. >> laura: congresswoman that, is the funniest, with usest thing i have ever heard, okay, in the politics. take it back? we have got take it back? wow. okay. >> yeah. who does he think is taking it back from, the american people that voted for president trump in record numbers? , president trump got the most amount of republican votes for any presidential candidate in history. so, on behalf of the people here in georgia, laura, i want everyone to know that we don't listen to a word that our former lt. governor jeff duncan has to say. as a matter of fact, nobody cares what he has to say except the viewers maybe on cnn. >> laura: well, this idea congressman carter criminalize legal theories. challenging state election law, you know, and how it was determined in the 11th hour in some of these states, that's now a crime? that's only going to go one way and only going to be used against america first republicans. >> absolutely. and that's a valid point that you make there because why shouldn't would he be questioning it? and let's not forget that this is not the first time these elections have been questioned. if you will remember, the first time that stacey abrams ran for governor, she was questioning and actually alleging that there was inconsistencies and that it was stolen from her. she said that. was she indicted? no. she has not been indicted. so, you know, there is a double standard here. there is a justice system in america for those who are named clinton and biden and for everyone else. that is a sad, sad state of affairs for us. >> laura: yeah. i mean, congresswoman, there is credible evidence that the biden family was peddling influence maybe taking bribes from foreign presidents when he was vice president. oh you can't connect the dots. here we have people making legal claims, the president taking their advice political trash talk, which happens all the time, and that's a crime? but the biden family crime as i understand cat, they get away with it? that's not justice. >> that's right, laura. they are charging president trump with conspiracy, racketeering, ricco charges but, yet, we are seeing the democrats on a national level from the department of justice all the way down to these state da's actually conspiring to stop president trump from winning the 2024 election. it's outrageous and you are absolutely right. i serve on the oversight committee. we have real evidence that the biden family made tens of millions of dollars from corrupt business deals with wire transfers from country after country and the fake llcs paying out biden family members and we are working very hard to link this direct whether i proof to joe biden. we have devon archer that came out and said that joe biden was on the phone in an in person meetings over 20 times. we have a 1023 form that says joe biden took a $5 million bribe from the oligarch that owned burisma while he was vice president of the united states. >> oh, that's nothing. >> admitting that he got the prosecutor viktor shokin fired. this is real evidence and these are real crimes. >> laura: all right. congresswoman greene and congressman carter, thank you both. if you want to see where the climate radicals are taking their fanaticism next? i want to tell you about a story coming up that is shocking. plus, we have an update on that utah man killed last week after making threats against joe biden. it's interesting. so stay with us. an unthinkable genocide took the lives of six million jews and thousands of jewish survivors are still suffering in poverty today. god calls on people who believe in him to act on his word. now we finally have one update but it only leads us to have more questions. late yesterday, the fbi said that as they were serving search warrants at the morning of the shooting on the morning of the shooting, robinson resisted arrest and when agents tried to take him into custody he pointed a revolver at them. well, seems like major detail and one that should have been easy to provide to us last week. so now this raises new questions. ones we put directly to the fbi. why did it take five days to reveal the cause of the shooting? and if that is, in fact, what happened, just release the body cam footage. and what happened when agents originally approached the house before the sun even came up? now, true to form, the fbi declined to comment to the angle. we're going to continue to press for answers and monitor this story and we won't stop. >> you know, it's really scary seeing what you care for disappear right in front of your eyes. >> makes me feel like the state is prioritizing profits over people. because they know that there is visible harm coming to the land and to the people and they are still choosing to make money instead of care for montanans. well, montana judge just sided with that group of young environmental activist. well spoken. one of the plaintiffs was 5 years old. gee, i wonder if her parents put her up to that, maybe. they claim the state infringed on their constitutional right to a clean and healthful environment by promoting the use of fossil fuels. didn't see that in the constitution. now the judge found that the state's emissions have been proven to be a substantial factor in effecting the climate. now, of course this montana case is going to face a pretty big appeal all the way to the state supreme court. the montana a.g.'s office called the ruling absurd, saying that montanans cannot be blamed for changing the climate. joining me now is alex enstein who is the energy expert and founder at the center for industrial progress. people that celebrate these types of momentary wins, they don't think about the repercussions for business in the state. how dangerous would this ruling be if upheld? >> it's really dangerous. we already have a terrible problem in this country of projects being stopped for, quote: climate considerations right now if you want to approve a pipeline or approve drilling, if you want to approve anything, you can be stopped because the government thinks that any projects that emits cot should be stopped if they wanted to because it somehow contributes to climate change. everything emits co-2. a reign of business already. this case makes it even worse because it means government can shut down whatever they want if they say climate change. >> laura: this is the road map playbook of the soros type globalists who know they can't win in the court of public opinion in state legislatures, they are not going to win this type of stuff so they go to liberal judges. they go to courts and they try to change the country via litigation. that is what this is about, is it not? >> i would say, i mean, there is this front of trying to do it through judges. and there is also the front of trying to do it through esg and through corporations. people really need to know how damaging this is. and what we really need is more places like montana saying hey do not have climate considerations in anything. this is a global issue. you cannot stop individual projects because of a global issue. and if you care about human life, what you want is more energy for more people. the world has why too little. we have using too little energy than a refrigerator. this is wrong headed. i'm glad montana is fighting. embarrassing a bunch of kids are being front of this to destroy american industry. >> laura: what does john testa say about all of this. he keeps claiming is he a reasonable democrat. has he been leading the charge against this? >> i'm not sure about his role. i mean, it's this anti-fossil fuel movement is so opportunistic they go after things on every front they can. important to have overall case for informs till fuels which is what i do in my book including my book fossil future. >> laura: alex, thank you. you won't believe what people are doing in driverless cars now. here's a hint. you couldn't do it if you had to focus on the road. jimmy failla is up next. stay there. ♪ huh. how long have you been tracking our car's value with carvana? governor ron desantis joins me now to respond from tallahassee. governor, good to see you. thanks for joining us. that does seem to be, so far at least, the inescapable truth. so if i am you, how do i convince the gop voters that while these indictments are obviously political law fair, i guess you could call it, that you are the one that is most electable? how do you make that argument? >> well, because going forward the question really is is what are we going to do about all this, laura? what we need to do is a president that can beat biden but that can actually end the weaponization of federal power through the doj, the fbi. for example, with me as president on day one christopher wray get sent packing. you will see the doj cleared out. we will ensure a single standard of justice in this country again. i can say that with credibility because i have done that in the state of florida. we have drained the swamp. we have gotten rid of negligent election supervisors in south florida. we have removed two different progressive prosecutors funded by sorrows soros who are not enforcing the law. i have shown an ability to take action and get the job done. as the president, i will do the same thing. our country is in decline for a number of different reasons. economic and cultural. part of the reason we are in decline is the constitutional system is totally out of whack. we need to get it back in order. i am the guy that news how to do it. you have to be disciplined and focused. you have to have attention to detail because the swamp is not going to give up its power voluntarily. >> do you think that if trump were to win, that he wouldn't fire christopher wray or try to reform the fbi? it seems like he has a personal interest in doing that at this point, no? >> he had three years to fire christopher wray and he didn't fire him. remember, i went to the rallies in 2016. you remember them? lock her up, about holding hillary accountable. two weeks after the election he said nevermind that i said that and let her off the hook. i think if you look at, and i give him credit even though we are competing, for the great things he did do. one of the things he did not do was drain the swamp. the swamp got worse in his four years. you had people like christopher wray and people in power who were not getting the job done. you've got to take very swift action and make it happen. >> no, the gop strategists, a piece on the hill, that are predicting on the senate side and on the house side, a turnout disaster if somehow trump doesn't become the nominee saying that many of his core supporters who are estimated to make up 25% or 35% of the party base will take their ball and go home. we saw this somewhat in georgia during the runoff elections, governor. are you concerned about that? how will you spur turnout if indeed you win the nomination? >> i would also say 2022 in georgia you saw governor brian kemp win a thumping reelection better than a lot of people were really of electing. donald trump opposed him throughout that election even suggesting stacey abrams would be a better governor. and then in florida we won reelection by a record margin for republican with over 1.5 million votes. donald trump attacked me three days before the midterm election. i think when you are talking about voters in our party base, that may be a problem if you nominate some rockefeller republican. but it's not going to be a problem if you nominate somebody like me who has a proven record of delivering on america first policies. how many people get elected, they overpromise and under deliver? i can say with credibility i met all the promises i made to the people of florida. in fact i over delivered on my promises whether it was holding china accountable, illegal immigration, education. all these things we said we do we got done. >> one of the best things you did, governor, was send the governors the migrants to martha's vineyard. that showed the elites who they really are. not compassionate. the revolving door out of there so fast. that was one of the best smaller moments but that actually mattered. governor, chris christie is out there sticking his chest out saying i am number two and new hampshire. are you worried about him? >> look, at the end of the day we are doing what we need to do on the ground in iowa and new hampshire. we will be back there this weekend. we will get the job done. i think a lot of these guys are doing this or doing that. we will get on the debate stage and we are hashing it out. i think i will show that i am the guy that has the vision. i am the guy that get the job done electorally. most important, actually get all this stuff done because we have been talking about so much of this stuff from illegal immigration and the border, dealing with china, all this stuff. now is the time to do it. if we don't do it in 2024 i don't think we will be able to get the job done in our lifetime. this is a key election so we can reverse the decline of this country and give us a new birth of freedom. >> now it's time to restore it. governor, great to see you. thank you so much. i want to thank all of you for watching. remember it is america now and forever. peat is in for watters and is next. welcome to a special edition of "jesse watters primetime". i am pete hegseth filling in for jesse on this tuesday. we begin in georgia where last night so-called justice was weaponize against a former president. >> a fulton county grand jury returned a true bill of indictment charging 19 individuals with violations of georgi

in the united states. the america i grew up in is a place where we don't put our political opponents in prison. we let the voters decide who is best to lead the nation. nor did we criminalize political differences because that's what they do in repressive regimes. >> russian opposition activist sinced to 19 years. russian court finding him guilty of founding and funding an extremist organization. >> laura: now, after i read through this latest indictment of trump, i found myself asking how can we now really say that we're any better than what we're seeing in the old former soviet union? we will get to the legal farce that is this indictment in a few moment. but, right now all of you need to know something very important about this liberal fulton county d.a. fani willis. now, after her unconscionablably dragging out her investigation of donald trump for about two and a half years, she was suddenly, last night, in this huge rush, desperate to get the indictment out there. so much so that she took the relatively rare step of keeping a new grand jury after regular business hours. now, she did this for one reason and one reason only, for maximum p.r. effect in prime time, no less. >> i cannot believe this. (upbeat music) - [narrator] what if there was a hearing aid that could keep up with you? i would have told you fulton county. fulton county has long been a bastion for democratic shenanigans. this is another example of it. these drummed up charges here. here we have a former president who has been indicted by a system that is weighed against him. no one is above the law. we all understand this. but this is about revenge, not about justice. >> laura: now congressman, former lt. governor jeff duncan now a cnn contributor let slip what this is really all about. watch this. >> donald trump did his most damage in georgia. he sucked the soul out of the republican party here. he sucked the more rattle out of the republican party. the fiscal responsibility out of the republican party. he sucked our winning percentage out of the republican party. he has taken everything from us. and it is our turn to take it back. >> laura: congresswoman that, is the funniest, with usest thing i have ever heard, okay, in the politics. take it back? we have got take it back? wow. okay. >> yeah. who does he think is taking it back from, the american people that voted for president trump in record numbers? , president trump got the most amount of republican votes for any presidential candidate in history. so, on behalf of the people here in georgia, laura, i want everyone to know that we don't listen to a word that our former lt. governor jeff duncan has to say. as a matter of fact, nobody cares what he has to say except the viewers maybe on cnn. >> laura: well, this idea congressman carter criminalize legal theories. challenging state election law, you know, and how it was determined in the 11th hour in some of these states, that's now a crime? that's only going to go one way and only going to be used against america first republicans. >> absolutely. and that's a valid point that you make there because why shouldn't would he be questioning it? and let's not forget that this is not the first time these elections have been questioned. if you will remember, the first time that stacey abrams ran for governor, she was questioning and actually alleging that there was inconsistencies and that it was stolen from her. she said that. was she indicted? no. she has not been indicted. so, you know, there is a double standard here. there is a justice system in america for those who are named clinton and biden and for everyone else. that is a sad, sad state of affairs for us. >> laura: yeah. i mean, congresswoman, there is credible evidence that the biden family was peddling influence maybe taking bribes from foreign presidents when he was vice president. oh you can't connect the dots. here we have people making legal claims, the president taking their advice political trash talk, which happens all the time, and that's a crime? but the biden family crime as i understand cat, they get away with it? that's not justice. >> that's right, laura. they are charging president trump with conspiracy, racketeering, ricco charges but, yet, we are seeing the democrats on a national level from the department of justice all the way down to these state da's actually conspiring to stop president trump from winning the 2024 election. it's outrageous and you are absolutely right. i serve on the oversight committee. we have real evidence that the biden family made tens of millions of dollars from corrupt business deals with wire transfers from country after country and the fake llcs paying out biden family members and we are working very hard to link this direct whether i proof to joe biden. we have devon archer that came out and said that joe biden was on the phone in an in person meetings over 20 times. we have a 1023 form that says joe biden took a $5 million bribe from the oligarch that owned burisma while he was vice president of the united states. >> oh, that's nothing. >> admitting that he got the prosecutor viktor shokin fired. this is real evidence and these are real crimes. >> laura: all right. congresswoman greene and congressman carter, thank you both. if you want to see where the climate radicals are taking their fanaticism next? now we finally have one update but it only leads us to have more questions. late yesterday, the fbi said that as they were serving search warrants at the morning of the shooting on the morning of the shooting, robinson resisted arrest and when agents tried to take him into custody he pointed a revolver at them. well, seems like major detail and one that should have been easy to provide to us last week. so now this raises new questions. ones we put directly to the fbi. why did it take five days to reveal the cause of the shooting? and if that is, in fact, what happened, just release the body cam footage. and what happened when agents originally approached the house before the sun even came up? now, true to form, the fbi declined to comment to the angle. we're going to continue to press for answers and monitor this story and we won't stop. >> you know, it's really scary seeing what you care for disappear right in front of your eyes. >> makes me feel like the state is prioritizing profits over people. because they know that there is visible harm coming to the land and to the people and they are still choosing to make money instead of care for montanans. well, montana judge just sided with that group of young environmental activist. well spoken. one of the plaintiffs was 5 years old. gee, i wonder if her parents put her up to that, maybe. they claim the state infringed on their constitutional right to a clean and healthful environment by promoting the use of fossil fuels. didn't see that in the constitution. now the judge found that the state's emissions have been proven to be a substantial factor in effecting the climate. now, of course this montana case is going to face a pretty big appeal all the way to the state supreme court. the montana a.g.'s office called the ruling absurd, saying that montanans cannot be blamed for changing the climate. joining me now is alex enstein who is the energy expert and founder at the center for industrial progress. people that celebrate these types of momentary wins, they don't think about the repercussions for business in the state. how dangerous would this ruling be if upheld? >> it's really dangerous. we already have a terrible problem in this country of projects being stopped for, quote: climate considerations right now if you want to approve a pipeline or approve drilling, if you want to approve anything, you can be stopped because the government thinks that any projects that emits cot should be stopped if they wanted to because it somehow contributes to climate change. everything emits co-2. a reign of business already. this case makes it even worse because it means government can shut down whatever they want if they say climate change. >> laura: this is the road map playbook of the soros type globalists who know they can't win in the court of public opinion in state legislatures, they are not going to win this type of stuff so they go to liberal judges. they go to courts and they try to change the country via litigation. that is what this is about, is it not? >> i would say, i mean, there is this front of trying to do it through judges. and there is also the front of trying to do it through esg and through corporations. people really need to know how damaging this is. and what we really need is more places like montana saying hey do not have climate considerations in anything. this is a global issue. you cannot stop individual projects because of a global issue. and if you care about human life, what you want is more energy for more people. the world has why too little. we have using too little energy than a refrigerator. this is wrong headed. i'm glad montana is fighting. embarrassing a bunch of kids are being front of this to destroy american industry. >> laura: what does john testa say about all of this. he keeps claiming is he a reasonable democrat. has he been leading the charge against this? >> i'm not sure about his role. i mean, it's this anti-fossil fuel movement is so opportunistic they go after things on every front they can. important to have overall case for informs till fuels which is what i do in my book including my book fossil future. >> laura: alex, thank you. you won't believe what people are doing in driverless cars now. here's a hint. you couldn't do it if you had to focus on the road. jimmy failla is up next. stay there. ♪ huh. how long have you been tracking our car's value with carvana? if they made a movie about people hooking up in cabs it would be called debbie does weight watchers these are big horse face disgusting people like 50 shades of hay. in that regard i like the fact that is no human around to watch these slobs go at it. and to be clear from a passenger standpoint, it can't be any more germier than the rest of san francisco. probably the safest place to do it, you know. comparative to like union square. >> laura: jimmy, how often did this happen when you were taxi driver. >> not enough. it wasn't like i had this inviting vibe where you know what would take the edge off. i wasn't like a love coach, laura. wasn't like a dr. ruth on wheels. but, you know, i was known to throw on a nice jam from time to time might make the mood happen. barry white. >> laura: jimmy that was strange but i have another strange one. a florida woman suspected of murder dering her roommate she apparently tried to get rid of the evidence. i guess blood of her leg by dumping mountain dew on her body and on her hair in front of the police. that's weird you know if you are in a bad relationship if your first question did it work? a voter in iowa summed it up this way. he likes both trump and desantis and while he has concerns about trump's electability, he said the more indictments that trump gets, the better his numbers do. what does that mean? governor ron desantis joins me now to respond from tallahassee. governor, good to see you. thanks for joining us. that does seem to be, so far at least, the inescapable truth. so if i am you, how do i convince the gop voters that while these indictments are obviously political law fair, i guess you could call it, that you are the one that is most electable? how do you make that argument? >> well, because going forward the question really is is what are we going to do about all this, laura? what we need to do is a president that can beat biden but that can actually end the weaponization of federal power through the doj, the fbi. for example, with me as president on day one christopher wray get sent packing. you will see the doj cleared out. we will ensure a single standard of justice in this country again. i can say that with credibility because i have done that in the state of florida. we have drained the swamp. we have gotten rid of negligent election supervisors in south florida. we have removed two different progressive prosecutors funded by sorrows soros who are not enforcing the law. i have shown an ability to take action and get the job done. as the president, i will do the same thing. our country is in decline for a number of different reasons. economic and cultural. part of the reason we are in decline is the constitutional system is totally out of whack. we need to get it back in order. i am the guy that news how to do it. you have to be disciplined and focused. you have to have attention to detail because the swamp is not going to give up its power voluntarily. >> do you think that if trump were to win, that he wouldn't fire christopher wray or try to reform the fbi? it seems like he has a personal interest in doing that at this point, no? >> he had three years to fire christopher wray and he didn't fire him. remember, i went to the rallies in 2016. you remember them? lock her up, about holding hillary accountable. two weeks after the election he said nevermind that i said that and let her off the hook. i think if you look at, and i give him credit even though we are competing, for the great things he did do. one of the things he did not do was drain the swamp. the swamp got worse in his four years. you had people like christopher wray and people in power who were not getting the job done. you've got to take very swift action and make it happen. >> no, the gop strategists, a piece on the hill, that are predicting on the senate side and on the house side, a turnout disaster if somehow trump doesn't become the nominee saying that many of his core supporters who are estimated to make up 25% or 35% of the party base will take their ball and go home. we saw this somewhat in georgia during the runoff elections, governor. are you concerned about that? how will you spur turnout if indeed you win the nomination? >> i would also say 2022 in georgia you saw governor brian kemp win a thumping reelection better than a lot of people were really of electing. donald trump opposed him throughout that election even suggesting stacey abrams would be a better governor. and then in florida we won reelection by a record margin for republican with over 1.5 million votes. donald trump attacked me three days before the midterm election. i think when you are talking about voters in our party base, that may be a problem if you nominate some rockefeller republican. but it's not going to be a problem if you nominate somebody like me who has a proven record of delivering on america first policies. how many people get elected, they overpromise and under deliver? i can say with credibility i met all the promises i made to the people of florida. in fact i over delivered on my promises whether it was holding china accountable, illegal immigration, education. all these things we said we do we got done. >> one of the best things you did, governor, was send the governors the migrants to martha's vineyard. that showed the elites who they really are. not compassionate. the revolving door out of there so fast. that was one of the best smaller moments but that actually mattered. governor, chris christie is out there sticking his chest out saying i am number two and new hampshire. are you worried about him? >> look, at the end of the day we are doing what we need to do on the ground in iowa and new hampshire. we will be back there this weekend. we will get the job done. i think a lot of these guys are doing this or doing that. we will get on the debate stage and we are hashing it out. i think i will show that i am the guy that has the vision. i am the guy that get the job done electorally. most important, actually get all this stuff done because we have been talking about so much of this stuff from illegal immigration and the border, dealing with china, all this stuff. now is the time to do it. if we don't do it in 2024 i don't think we will be able to get the job done in our lifetime. this is a key election so we can reverse the decline of this country and give us a new birth of freedom. >> now it's time to restore it. governor, great to see you. thank you so much. i want to thank all of you for watching. remember it is america now and forever. peat is in for watters and is next. welcome to a special edition of "jesse watters primetime". i am pete hegseth filling in for jesse on this tuesday. we begin in georgia where last night so-called justice was weaponize against a former president. >> a fulton county grand jury returned a true bill of indictment charging 19 individuals with violations of georgi
