here to react is ian prior, a loudoun county parent, who was quoted in that article. he is a senior adviser for america first legal and the author of a book about those events called parents of the world unite. good morning to you, ian. >> good morning. >> ainsley: good morning. what did you think when you saw that headline? >> funny thing is i actually read the article without the headline first. and when i looked at the article, i said it's got the facts and chronology right there. are some things i took issue with. when you actually look at that headline, there are just so many things wrong with it. first of all, as far as the weaponize, we are talking about a school system that knew that a child was raped in a bathroom. they knew they were passing a policy that parents were upset about because of bathroom safety. and, at the very meeting where it was debated. the superintendent now thrice indicted lied about it. and then, two months later, they were late filing their report to the department of education that requires them to report incidents of sexual assault. and they did not include this on that as well. so, spare me from the superintendent and from, you know, the headline that this was somehow weaponized by the parents. this was weaponized by the school system to cover something up that would hurt their policy. >> ainsley: the superintendent, mr. ziegler was accused of trying to cover that up. that was proven false in court. in the article he called you a kind of out-of-work trumper. what's your response? >> well, you know, first of all, i'm not out of work. everybody employed in '22, '23, '21, for the past 20 years. it's ironic because he is now out of work, thrice indicted and facing trial for what he has done. interestingly, what he was indicted is the false publication statute. knowingly making false statements to a publication, to the media with the intent that they be widely disseminated. he just did it again in this article. >> in what way? >> he is calling me out of work. is he talking about how this kid was not transgender. well, that's not necessarily the point. but let's go back to what we know. we know that in a trial last month, the school resource officer testified that the kid told him he was gender fluid. the mom told the media that he liked to cross dress and that he was pansexual. you put that all in the mix. the bottom line is at the time, the policies of the virginia department of education defined the term transgender as anybody whose gender expression does not meet their biological sex. that's transgender even though that's not really the point here. >> ainsley: ian, thank you so much for coming on. big hour ahead. trump attorney alina abba and mikeev gallagher and outkick founder clay travis. and gentler on your skin. try downy free & gentle. it generalized myasthenia gravis made my life a lot harder. but the picture started changing when i started on vyvgart. vyvgart is for adults with generalized myasthenia gravis who are anti-achr antibody positive . in a clinical trial, vyvgart significantly improved most participants' ability to do daily activities when added to their current gmg treatment. most participants taking vyvgart also had less muscle weakness. and your vyvgart treatment schedule is designed just for you. in a clinical study, the most common side effects included urinary and respiratory tract infections, and headache. vyvgart may increase the risk of infection. tell your doctor if you have a history of infections or symptoms of an infection. vyvgart can cause allergic reactions. available as vyvgart for iv infusion and now as vyvgart hytrulo for subcutaneous injection. additional side effects for vyvgart hytrulo may include injection site reactions. talk to your neurologist about vyvgart. hi, i'm michael, i've lost 62 pounds on golo and i have kept it off. most of the weight that i gained was strictly in my belly which is a sign of insulin resistance. but since golo, that weight has completely gone away, as you can tell. thanks to golo and release, i've got my life and my health back.
