you grew up in, charity long supported. they are very different if you are an episcopalian, you know exactly what. everywhere in this country, formerly respectable organizations, have seem to gone off the deep end. have you listened to national public radio recently? npr was always a little nutty, but in a familiar nonthreatening kind of way. your average public radio station ran needs cultural programming, the celtic music hour or bluegrass show. public radio's most popular feature was something called "car talk." remember that? a show where two italian mechanics, in boston, both of them, they argue the merits of combustion engines and they fix your honda. all npr stations aired in the news from washington. there was "morning edition" in the morning, "all things considered" on the trip home. anchors were left of center, but they were subconsciously upmarket. they spoke in comically stilted having come located opinions about wine. this is npr, they'd say. national public radio. it was all pretty amusing, easy to mock. it was basically harmless. npr didn't call for violent revolution or they were just dopey self-important self-styled liberals, the dangling earrings and composting bins in their yards. not anymore. you have to listen to npr now -- actually, don't listen. we pulled the clips for you. keep in mind what you are about to hear is entirely real, aired on npr over the last few weeks. first up is a segment about dieting. that seems like a sensible topic. the country could use some help in dropping weight, especially with covid in the air. but npr doesn't run straightforward stories anymore. i segment like that would be a racist. it has nothing to do with equity or marginalizedommunities. instead, here is how npr approached dieting. listen. >> i am a chinese-american nonvalue nary therapist, consultant. >> specializes in eating disorders within marginalized communities in the bay area. they say dieting in cultures is often eye-opening and also uncomfortable. >> tucker: "decoupling from diet culture" -- are you following this? you can't have a conversation without certain progress quits. if you are going to talk about dieting, you are going to a chinese-american nonbinary therapist, consultant, and dni nutritionist. come to think of it, don't talk about dieting at all. dieting is racist. it's part of white's primitive culture. here is npr's explanation. speaker sabrina strings as a professor of sociology at the university california irvine, authoring the book "fearing the black body: the origins of that phobia." largely the elements of two elements to anoint europeans as superior to all others. the thing is, the bmi was never meant to measure individual health. again, was based purely on studies of white men. >> do they believe any of this? here is npr, national public radio, telling you that your weight has nothing to do with your health. it is decoupled, they would say, from your health. if you think otherwise, you are engaging in fatphobia, and you, mr. american, the biggest risk factor for death among the young. keep in mind, though statistics were compiled by white men. the real problem with being fat, says npr, is that you are constantly being oppressed by racist diet culture. >> a lot of the personal writing focuses on navigating the world as fast. airplanes, restaurants, movie theaters, entry is limited to an assumed body size. we might assume basic accommodations are value neutral, but that shows us how much diet culture has influenced the design of our world. >> tucker: we love to get and the peg on tonight to explain why the size of doorways is racist. they pulled the loonie is to examples off of npr? nope. that's a representative sample. what you are hearing there is npr's approach to every story. so you could do actual reporting on actual trends or stories that are of interest to your audience and have some inherent meaning. no. npr has decided only to complain about questions. listen to this segment about in which npr's news division informs us that our long national nightmare is finally over, and thank god, "sesame street" has finally hired an asian-american puppet. watch. >> the show welcomes a new character. electric guitar playing jiyun, the first asian-american puppet in history. >> in the rise of hate crimes against asian this year -- >> the rise of hate crimes committed by all of those trump supporters spurred npr to celebrate it. this is a big change. if you can remember "sesame street," there was big bird, cookie monster. that was the point here there was no tribalism on "sesame street" but that's why they used animals, not people. not anymore. according to npr, the ethnicity in the "sesame street" muppets is the most important thing. not just on "sesame street." in all entertainment and art and culture. no one at npr reads books anymore, obviously. they do stream a ton of garbage off the internet. and when they watch it, they are most interested in what the people look like, the shades of their skin. here is an npr producer to explain what he's been watching recently. >> what tv show have you been seeing this year? >> i've been watching "we are a lady parts." musical comedy about a punk band in london made up of all muslim women. >> tucker: it's a musical comedy about a punk band in london made up of all muslim women! i mean... okay. i guess there's nothing wrong with that. but every story is a story about a musical comedy in london about a punk band of all muslim women. really come up the program is ai generated. that's all of npr right now. listen to the questions this npr personality asked about the new "matrix" film. >> have you seen the latest "matrix" film? >> i have indeed. it's wonderful. speaker any additional trans allegories teased in the film or is it something that's being left for the first three? >> tucker: if you are running a news organization, one of the critical questions you'll have to ask up front is how many trans allegories are there in the matrix? npr is doing that and we can go on and on. we can put you npr's coverage of the colonizing it's not enough for npr's own hyper woke employees. national public radio has been so thoroughly radicalized on the verge of destroying itself from within. crystal fleming, a sociologist presumably studying marginalized communities, release this. "the problem at npr is white supremacy. so if you are saying this explicitly is telling indeed." notice the tacit construction of the question and "indeed." signifiers of low iq, just so you know. a former cohost agreed with this. "one thing i want to point out is the small percentage of latino, latina, latinx employees who work at npr. what are we now? 18.5% of the u.s. population but only 7% at npr. not a good look." how upset about this can you be? the revolution always eats itself. in npr's case, it's hard to weep about that. here is the deepest irony of all, npr spends all its time attacking white people, white supremacy. but privilege why people are npr's prime audience but we check the audience members. here's what they are. npr's audience is 84% white. we have no problem with that. we don't hate white people. we aren't racist, unlike npr. by comparison, that's higher than the numbers at fox news but npr is always claiming that fox news or some kind of white's premises organization -- by the way, fox news has a significantly larger black and a much larger hispanic audience that npr has. both overall and as a percentage of viewers. so who does listen to npr? you know exactly who listens to npr. she's honking at you wearing a mask alone in her subaru. the picture on the screen right now. do you people like her really need more than $100 million in federal subsidies every year which is what public radio still gets for some reason. probably not. maybe so. who are we to judge? maybe angry bear and subaru drivers as many graduate degrees as bumper stickers need welfare too. we asked matt walsh to sort this out and we are happy to have him. matt walsh, it is great to see you. i mean, i guess every body is getting welfare now. so why shouldn't angry personally dissatisfied wine moms with upper incomes also not get a federal subsidy? >> i think you can make that argument. i have to say it, someone who gained 10 pounds over christmas break, i'm happy i have this framing that come up no, i wasn't gorging on ham and eggnog, i was decoupling from diet culture. that's what i was doing. >> tucker: i'm using that! >> we know that leftism is like a black hole where no light or sanity can escape. if the orbit around it, going to get stuck into it into full on insanity so everything that leans left will eventually descend in falling insanity like nvr has and we also noticed that the ruling class is aware of how insane all of this is, which is why they are getting more and more desperate to shut down any criticism of it. i have to mention because i just before we got on the air that i got to spend it on twitter because i pointed out that biological males are men. this to me is all part of the game here, this is what leftism is, and you criticize it, they are going to shut you down because they realize it's not like they can engage intellectually. not like that they engage in any of the examples you played. this is the only option they have. >> tucker: have to ask. i wanted you to come on to make fun of npr, but you raise a really deep point and you are smart. what is the end game here? satisfied with every single 100 million americans, men or women, women are men, i'll take my 11th mandatory backs, is there a point where they say we won? >> the ultimate end game is to overturn civilization, overturned the moral order. that's what leftism is, it's waging a campaign against truth on a fundamental level in a way that i think human civilization has never seen before. a lot of it is pretty funny. but at the same time, at bottom, at root, there's something more sinister going on. considering the fact that we have to fund this, raises another question for me that republicans have been ostensibly in charge of the government at various points last few decades and yet they continue to shuttle tax money, welfare payments, to the wine moms, as you point out that just like they shovel welfare payments to planned parenthood when they are killing babies. that's another question i have paid why have the republicans done anything about this when they have the ability to do it? >> tucker: i was going to bring that up but it makes me too mad. i'm glad you did. matt walsh, good to see you tonight. thank you. >> appreciate it. >> tucker: kamala harris, whatever she's calling herself, her office used to represent the state of california. everyone is leaving. she's on a hiring spree to replace staffers who left. she's got a nuke medication director but doesn't appear to be a big fan of joe biden. fox's kevin corke has this new story. >> jamaal simmons is his name, set to be the new comms director for the vice president but he's leg deep and hot water. he previously hosted a show for "the hill" called why you should you care where he aired a segment back in august 2019 called "dazed and confused: poking fun at joe biden" for the many conflated and exaggerated stories he told the public over the years. >> joe biden back in the hot seat over something he said. we do the story about once a week. this isn't the first time he said something that turned out to be wrong. it's what you get with uncle joe. >> what you get with uncle joe, says simmons but he also clamped down on vaccines after they were trying to get one tweeted this in september of 2020, trump is fatally failed response turned voters off of him the way katrina destroyed bush's political reputation. but pushing a janky signs vaccine in the public for political purposes may turn into intentional harm and you wonder why some people will not want to take the vaccine. simmons also warned that joe biden shouldn't get to cuddle with the black vote, urging him to remember that he was a plus one invitee to the black cookout, meaning plus one alongside barack obama. as you imagine, he spent much of the day, tucker, tweeting apologies for his past comments and tweets, planning to wrap the bite in the administration with humility and respect. tucker? >> tucker: the great kevin corke. thank you. >> you too. >> tucker: jamaal simmons also criticized immigration. in a pretty sensible way. what you saw yesterday, the commemoration of the insurrection was in some ways beyond belief. nancy pelosi had the cast of "hamilton" sitting on a zoom call. we are just going to relive those moments. that's straight ahead. >> tucker: the anniversary of january 6th was yesterday. insurrection day. today is the day after. how do you feel? we feel sated, tired come out of it. festivities like that just wear you out. you want to sit on the couch and remember the highlights. in case you don't remember them, we've got a feel of them. nancy pelosi the 81-year-old speaker of the house told us she was nearly killed on january 6th. >> they almost overturned an election. >> they were rioters running through here trying to get to the house right over there to get to the house chamber. >> they were in my office which is right there. >> they said they would shoot me in the brain. >> tucker: except they had no guns or knives or any way to do that. but whatever. only a liar -- but kind of demented at this point. that does not lessen the trauma of the moment. it's become more somatic as time goes on. on cnn today, insisted that january 6 was indeed a terror attack not because there was terrorism or a terrorist leader or a terrorist plan because everything scary is not terrorism. >> senator cruz asked to come on to apologize but he wanted to come on tucker's show to say that i called terrorists terrorists. >> exactly! that speaks to the level of the nile within the g.o.p. when you cross as a parent line of talking about the terror of that day. we know, hundreds of people at the capitol experienced a terror, whether you label people terrorists that's complicated, absolutely. it was an act of terror that was forced upon these capitol hill staffers, lawmakers, et cetera. >> tucker: imagine if you are a guy who will not acknowledge biological sex, calling other people " " that is their lived experience. that is there truth. it's not just nancy pelosi and the peace of mind of every body the washington press corps that died that day. do you know who else almost died that day? according to msnbc, democracy itself. >> one year after insurrectionists stormed in the nation's capital on an unprecedented attack on our democracy, but images are not any easier to watch but an important reminder how close we came to losing our democracy and how fragile democracy remains. >> tucker: imagine being in charge of running msnbc. it'd be super easy. you look over at the bane and there are all these terms of language preassembled and you threw them together and that would be tonight's script. the insurrectionist! the unprecedented attack on our democracy! all the cliches. what is it really about. it's not lying or propaganda, but what is it really about? it's about preserving the power of the party. and if there is any doubt whatsoever and you may have missed this, dick cheney showed up on capitol hill yesterday and democrats who spent decades announcing him as a war criminal applauded him. >> we saw liz cheney, the congresswomen, and her dad on the floor on the floor of the u.s. congress earlier today. what does that suggest to you, dick cheney and liz cheney, both republicans, very conservative, they were there and remember laying this day in history? >> i think they are trying to save the republican party. they are trying to bring the republican party back. >> tucker: it suggests that someone is about to get droned. that was not the answer but ned rimes, ceo of american majority joins us now. what does this suggest to you? >> first of all, the desperation that surrounded january 6th, all the hype and the cringe really feels like the last stage of a regime and corporate propaganda since they realize they may have power slip out of their hand. you make a great point. this is definitely about a ruling class in a ministry of state that senses their power might be waning. but there is more to it than that, tucker. they are using january 6th as a way to not talk about the 2020 election. if you dare to bring up that we might have questions about it -- no, january 6th, shut up. absolute disaster of the biden administration. covert policy is and was a disaster. everything is much higher than it was a year ago. let's use this as a distraction, january 6th. don't pay attention to the real things that affect your life. most importantly, tucker, january 6th is a way for the left the paint and portray anybody who's to the right of them -- that's why i was surprised with ted cruz's comments about the mystic terrorism. don't you realize at the left wants you to be considered a domestic terrorist? all the republicans all independents to the right of them to shut up and sit down so they can force through their election reform to have one party rule. i think the thing that people need to understand, whenever the left talks about democracy, it's not democracy in the case that most normal people would think about it. it's whatever we can get in which we have all the power we can do whatever we want to and everybody who resists that is an insurrectionist, a terrorist if you dare to question their state government approach. >> tucker: that sound like oligarchy timmy! i don't want attack ted cruz but you see this a lot with republican leaders not in party politics but also china, could it be that they have assessed the future, they decided which side is going to win, and they are just welcoming their new leaders? >> if they have, tucker, that would be a real shame because there's a lot of us out here that have sent people like that to actually fight for unconstitutional bias and inherent rights and if not we'll find somebody new to do that. >> tucker: our new insect overlords. great to see you. the supreme court still do not allow cameras. supreme court justices talked about coronavirus and it turns out they have no idea, even the basic fact of what's going on with corona during oral arguments to justify joe biden's insane totally authoritarian vaccine mandate. we've got details next. it'll shock you. i will bless those who bless you here in israel and the former soviet union the jewish people are living in very difficult times. there are now thousands of destitute elderly jews who are desperately in need of basic food. the international fellowship of christians and jews is on the ground with survival food boxes but the need for food is growing. call or go online now and say, "i will bless these children of abraham." it's the elderly widows who are hurting the most. many of them are also holocaust survivors who are once again crying out for help. their need as you can see is extremely urgent. right now, you can give a gift of life of $25 that will help rush an emergency food box to an elderly jewish person who doesn't have enough to eat. together, we bring them comfort and love but just as important we bring them this life-saving food box. a gift of $25 will help rush one emergency food box. without your response, their pain and suffering will continue. inside of every box we put a note that says, "this box is donated because of the generosity of christians around the world." this trusted ministry has given christians like me a way to tangibly bless jewish people who are in need around the world. wherever in the world the jewish people have the greatest need our spiritual mandate is to feed the hungry and to care for the widows and orphans. call or go online now and say, "i will save a life!" we sold our policy. now we can relax and enjoy our retirement as we had planned. if you have $100,000 or more of life insurance, you may qualify to sell your policy. don't cancel or let your policy lapse without finding out what it's worth. visit coventrydirect.com to find out if your policy qualifies. or call the number on your screen. coventry direct, redefining insurance. >> tucker: there were oral arguments at the supreme court this week to the question whether the biden administration convoys millions of american citizens to take medicine they don't want or need just to set who all accounts is not a super genius to put it mildly showed up with no facts at all. claim that's between six deaths are at all-time high. that oma crane is deadlier than dealt out, that's get off twitter, general office argued against the mandate at the court along with the state of louisiana. thank you for coming on. i'm not going to put you in a position to criticize the supreme court justice, but i supreme court justice, but i do you think your attempt to invalidate these unconstitutional mandates will be successful? >> i do. i think this is one of the most consequential cases the supreme court has ever heard. especially if you care about individual liberty and personal freedom because it comes down to this central question, can unelected bureaucrats without any cause additional statutory authority force a medical procedure on 100 million americans? the answer should be no. the scary thing is if they are successful, if biden is successful, there is no limiting principle for these agencies. with climate change, why wouldn't he just... it's an ex-potential threat, we are in a tipping point, department of transportation, epa, weaponize them to tell you how long you can drive to it mark my words, a couple of months away from the midterms where it's not safe to vote in person come up little operatives have got to collect grandma's ballots. the pathway to tyranny is paid with these emergency executive orders which is why the case is so important. >> tucker: especially when the blisters aren't working for people who get the booster are more likely to get the latest variant. this is truly scary behavior and i'm wondering if i'm reading it directly it's you and the 80 from louisiana, they are republican attorneys general, why aren't they joining you on this? >> to be clear, these were separated into different circuits and consolidated so there is a number of republican ags, missouri led the charge, louisiana led the charge too. we had the opportunity to present on osha and the mandate. justice kagan said she didn't know much about rule america. the reality is that rural hospitals are going to close. rule nursing homes will close. that patient with dementia is going to end up in a place he's not familiar with. somebody's going to have to go up a couple of hundred miles for a heart procedure all because the bureaucrats at the cocktail parties don't ever consider the consequences for real america and that's what this is about. in addition to the fact that this is a broad expanse of authority for administrative agencies. i don't think we want an administrative state that powerful. i think this case is so important. >> tucker: i'm grateful that you are doing it. >> thanks, tucker. >> tucker: no one has ever answered the question -- i've never heard it asked, why are health care workers, people who presume they know a lot more about health care than joe biden, turning down the shot? we can't say they are ignorant that they are health care workers, nurses but why do they want to lose their jobs over it? that's a fair question but what's the answer? china appears to be taking over farmland in this country in the middle of a food supply crisis, by the way. what exactly is going on why is nobody talking about that? we will. next. >> tucker: in the spring we started a new interview show on fox nation, "tucker carlson today." we just hit our hundred episode to come proud to say. who better to talk to for a hundredth episode then free speech advocate and truly hilarious comedian andrew doyle. he is defending history, weirdly, for a comedian. he's more than that, he is a scholar too and a truly funny guy. here he is splitting why it's worth preventing them from taking us to year zero. watch. >> whenever we engage online, it's a shared certainty that it never crosses their mind that they might be wrong. never crosses their mind that their opponents might have a different worldview. everyone else is evil, we are right, everything must change. that to me is dangerous and scary, but also funny. the sheer arrogance of that is quite funny. >> tucker: the lack of self-awareness -- >> no self-awareness at all paid their view of humanity is something like this. you notice the way they are trying to destroy history. topple statues, rename streets. and their idea is that up until now, human beings have got it wrong, that we've always been evil and wrong on every issue and now they've come along and they are morally pure and they've got all the answers. they will never be judged in the future by future generations, of course they will. but they think they've got it all right so they dismantle society as it is i'm a let's call it year zero. that's where they are coming from. that level of arrogance he is always funny. comedians have always gone after puritans, pharisees, these kind of figures. and at least a puritans had a sense of self-awareness but they believed they were unworthy before god. >> tucker: exactly. >> the essence of their own fallibility fundamental to their belief system. i use the word puritans described these people. i'm actually not comparing it to those people. i'm talking about the idea of a new purity culture. it is a purity culture. they believe that unless you are 100% on board with all their ideas, you are damned, effectively. you are on the outside. that's why the youth of today is always going on about how language is dangerous, words are violins, how jokes normalize hate. because they believe that everything is language. there is a reality beyond language. that's all very part of my studies in interest, so i read a lot of people like judith butler, has a background in literature as well. i've read those sorts of people who are kind of the precursors to what we are seeing now. if you look at what the activists are saying now, it's derive -- if not the same, but it's derived from that sort of postmodern thought of the ' 60s in '70s but i've read the background on this but i'm fascinated by culture and by the way, by people's ideas, taking it on good faith and listen to what they say. reading these activists, more than interest on anything important to read things you don't agree with, even with someone like robin d'angelo with "white fragility" which is a terrible book but every now and then there's a kernel of truth. it's just useful. >> tucker: brilliant creator of the woke lunatic on twitter who might as well be real. full conversation on fox nation. amazingly they begin to be a growing connections between viagra and treatment for the coronavirus. a big dose of viagra, probably the first. one health care company is providing coronavirus tests along with their ed medication. who thought viagra would save us from the pandemic? dr. marc siegel might've predicted it be he's our fox news medical >> we've been talking about viagra. talk about it last week with alzheimer's and doing further investigations on it now. monica almeida, 37 years old. 72 hours away from having a respirator turned off. gave her a massive dose of viagra and she woke up at what might be the connection be there? a study just published out of chile found that the patient studies did not go on the respirators. they actually go out of the hospital sooner. why would that be? not just used for what you think it uses, it improves blood flow to the lungs. it treats pulmonary hypertension, treats altitude sickness. it makes something called nitric oxide. nitric oxide is something that the ban virus decreases and viagra increases. not only is the study out of chile, several studies around the world that if you inhale that nitric oxide, your lungs get a lot better with this be 26b japan, china, scandinavia covid pier japan, china, scandinavia had all further studies are going on and i think this is a potential treatment. and then you mentioned along comes a company called ronan and "the new york times" of all places wrote this up and said that a company where you can actually prescribe viagra over telemedicine is now giving a home covid tests. you can't get them anywhere! but you can get them via telemedicine via this company and guess what you can get with the home test question what you can get viagra. i'm going to call to find out. tucker which do you take first? viagra or do you do the home test? i don't know. >> tucker: as you said, if you take "a massive dose of viagra" you wake up. i think it's obvious. is there anything it won't cure? dr. siegel, great to see you. >> i'm getting ready to try it out. thanks, tucker. >> tucker: report back. we have a problem with our food supply. people are shopping, going to spend a year getting to the bottom of that, we hope. but in the meantime it's worth noting that chinese companies are buying massive amounts of farmland in united states. why is that legal? we aren't sure. more on that straight ahead. >> tucker: americans are taking their food supply for granted for 100 years, all of a sudden some food is hard to find it seems like an everything is much more expensive. at the same moment that's happening, it's very worrisome. we learned that a lot of our ad gland is learned by the chinese. chinese owners controlled 400,000 acres in ag land, they are doing this around the world, buying up agricultural properties. so why is this allowed? what does it mean for our future, why is nobody worried about this? a farmer in virginia owns liberty farms, thanks so much for coming on tonight. so this is not something we are imagining. chinese companies are buying up american agricultural land? >> that's correct. china is home to 21% of the world's population. yet only 7% of china is in production agriculture. what we are seeing is china being on a massive hoarding spree, buying up millions of acres of farmland to the tune of 16 million acres around the globe. doing so is wanting to dominate the global food supply. this presents a national food and security for american farmers and every american citizen and it also impacts the very security of our food to americas but also creates an unfair playing field for american farmers. how can an individual american farmer compete with beijing's limitless pocketbooks? as you mentioned, the acquisition of smithfield which is the largest producer of pork out of virginia, they also acquired 150,000 acres of farmland here in the united states. this is a serious concern for every american farmer and really for every american which, by the way, no state in the united states has any prohibition against the forward acquisition of agricultural farmland. but yet china forbids any foreign entity from owning china land. >> tucker: i wasn't going to make that point were it not just china, actually a lot of countries in the world look at i've got to control the supply of food and water and if i can medicine, you all of a sudden this is happening, saying, i'm sorry, you can't get these from anywhere. why is that happening? >> there has been legislation produced, limiting china acquiring more american farmland. it's my hope as it is all farmers in america that it passes -- look, american farmers are the greatest producers in the world. american farmers are the heartbeat of america. if american farmers are just going to continue to be competitive, american farmers need to own and control our food supply, which improves the production and distribution, as well as owning american farmland. >> tucker: we've sold off so much, all of our manufacturers stripping the country for barton selling at a trot traut dalman china. farmland is the land, that's america. that's our continent. siegel absolutely correct and you need to save a huge spotlight on it. president trump is the first president to shine a huge spotlight on china's theft of our intellectual property. for example, the acquisition of smithfield foods. the chinese acquired all the intellectual property behind the world's largest producers of pork in the world. so this is a huge threat to our country. i'm hopeful of the legislation will pass that will prevent china from acquiring more american lands. >> tucker: lose your intellectual property, when you lose your property? real property? you are screwed. >> we know that freedom stands on the shoulder of property rights. >> tucker: great to see you tonight. >> thank you, great to see you. >> tucker: that's it for us tonight. we are out of time. we'll see you monday. have a great evening. ♪ ♪ >> sean: welcome to "hannity" on this busy news breaking friday night. news breaking on multiple fronts tonight. the biden economy continues to crater. bad news all across the board with another dismal jobs report. we have coverage straight ahead. another day, another excuse on kamala harris on the democrats' failing agenda. but first, biden zirconium workplace mandates front and center in the u.s.
