hope and they look out their window, the devastation and they lose hope. i want them to know god loves them, this is christmas and we celebrate the birth of jesus christ, jesus christ came to save us from our sins and he was born by virgin in bethlehem 2000 years ago, he came into this world not to condemn us but to save us and took our sins to the cross and died and should his blood on the cross for our sins and god raised him to life and this is the christmas message about god's love, god so loved the the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life and god loves them and we want people of mayfield and kentucky and arkansas, we want them to know that god loves them and sometimes people come through storms like this. god loves them. griff: thank you for the christmas message. we will pray for the people you're with today and volunteers as well. safe travels, my friend. >> thank you, god bless you. benjamin: the time is 50 minutes after the air. biden made promises to progressives but after one year in office he has broken a lot of them. griff: the far left isn't happy and republicans are taking advantage of it. good morning and merry christmas to benjamin and griff. great to be with you guys this morning. griff: now, governor, thanks for joining us, is president biden possibly headed for a lump of coal on christmas with broken promises? what say you? >> well, he certainly has given most americans a lump of coal. i think if biden were santa claus, people wouldn't be leaving out cookies and milk. they would probably be leaving out soured eggs and rotten things here you go you deserve it the rnc put out six page memo outlining many of the broken promises with joe biden. the fact is the only promise he has really kept this year, he has united america. he said he would do it. unfortunately for him. he has united america to believe that his presidency has been an abject failure. we have seen that on a number of things. that's what this memo that the rnc released really outline. things like the border crisis. it's a mess. it still is. it's not gotten that much better. the supply chain. he said he would fix it. half the stuff is still out on the pacific ocean waiting to come in. he talked about how he wouldn't raise taxes on anyone, but he is. and the inflation, the highest in 39 years, really is hitting working class americans right in the gut right here at christmas time. it couldn't be worse. so you have a whole litany of things that he has been a part of, including saying he will shut down the virus. well, now, we are back in that motive, he wants to lock everybody down and penalize them if they don't have a forced government mandated vaccine. it's been a rough year for joe biden. but, really it's been a rougher year for americans. >> ben: actually, we have got a little excerpt from that memo that says there is no other way to describe the first year of president biden's presidency other than an utter failure. worse yet, biden's attempts to bill it as a success proves just how out of touch they are with the american people. i want to get your thoughts, also, on this list. i mean the rnc has called out specific promises he made tax pledges. bringing prosperity. shutting down covid. addressing the border crisis. all of those. not what just what he dealt with how he tried to mask them. the ships, he claimed the supply chain crisis was solved by pushing the ships further out to sea. it doesn't seem -- looking at these issues, all solutions just masking the problems. >> well, benjamin, to borrow a scene from the great monday python's film, it is like the dark knight who is standing there with both arms and legs severed it's nothing but a scratch i'm doing great. you barely nicked me. and that's what i feel like, you know, times when i'm watching biden trying to explain his presidency and the same with jen psaki. you know, they are singing coming up roses, but the people are getting thorns. i don't think they have a real sense of reality. their bubble needs to be broken. griff grift black knight it's just a flesh wound. great analogy, governor. before we run out of time, christmas message. >> never forget why we have christmas. not just christmas and santa, those are wonderful parts of it really when god decided to show us how much he loved us, he showed up in person. he came himself. he said here's how you live. that's the real message of christmas and i hope we never forget it. >> ben: only a month ago praising you for sean connery impression you imagined a good santa claus one as well. got see the hat on again one more time. and how will you be spending your christmas, governor? >> well, i'm going to be hanging out with my grandchildren. we'll have a big celebration with them. they will read the christmas story. some of them have actually memorized most of it which is impressive. we will go to a church service on christmas eve and then go eat chinese food. it's a family tradition. griff: that's great, governor. santa hat. see if we can get you a georgia bulldog one. maybe that will be my christmas present to you, sir. >> go holmes in the outback bowl. >> ben: governor, thanks for being with us. griff a great pleasure to be with you as well. all my best to you and your family on christmas and the same to
