and will it stop the threat? >> shannon, in general i think the mandates need to be selective and we can't really impose them in the one-size-fits-all. all go back to the point of advocacy that i have been makin to our public health officials which is that we need to be focused on immunity. they're is no question the omicron is bypassing the vaccin and there's also no question that getting boosters in boosting the concentration of antibody in the blood does serv a good protective role. again, it all depends on the level of antibody in your blood and how much immunity you have. i think it's a fact that a vast number of college students probably have optimal antibody levels. frankly, the symptoms are quite mild. i don't necessarily favor of vaccine mandates in colleges in younger i think that also is advocated. >> this may be also for high school and for middle school kids in the ages that they go o down. again, if these college kids were fully vaccinated with the two doses, they've now had covid , would you think or suggest a mandatory booster for them to come back in the spring make sense. >> look, there is one category of students which it absolutely avoid getting a vaccine and those are kids who have had a full regimen of vaccination plu a natural infection. within the span of 8-10 months think there's going to be somewhere upwards of 20 percent of the kids in colleges in high schools around the country who have been vaccinated and who have also had a natural infection. that cortical rate is robustly to the enforced vaccinate these kids, i think is a colossal error, and frankly it's medical malpractice, so it's unconscionable for administrators to be imposing these and kids. the other category is kids that have been vaccinated and have high levels of antibodies. one of the big failures in our public health paradigm here has been the fact they get past yea the fda has wasted time and not really determined what the optimal level of antibody is in vaccinated individuals. this is something we know with most viruses. the fda has actually colossally failed in figuring this out. to the contrary, on may 19th of 21, the fda discouraged americans from measuring antibodies. this is the time to screen for antibodies not the virus. >> you've pointed that out before about the fda advocating against testing. whether you been vaccinated or had natural immunity that's an important number you need to know to make decisions about your health. you referenced people growing fatigue. do you feel worn out about changes made to daily life?
