the network, thank you for all your doing. >> laura: only 22 years behind you but i'm working on it, sean. trying to catch up. >> sean: i can't win. i'm not an old man like you, hannity. >> laura: thank you. thank you -- you are my body from the get-go, so back at you, sean, thanks so much. all right, i'm laura ingraham, this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. massive protests in new york city tonight as thousands of workers march against vaccine mandates. "the ingraham angle" sent a camera down there, we are going to have footage for you, plus biden potters around a scottish climate conference and a cultural backlash take flight. raymond arroyo explains it in "seen and unseen." but first, a commonwealth of insight. that's the focus of tonight's angle. if you early on gave him much of a chance, but clean-cut family man and america's success story glenn youngkin, a republican, decided to go all in in the virginia governor's race. he traveled the entire commonwealth connecting beyond the base to first-time voters and those who had voted democrat last time around who are now having some buyers remorse. now we are waiting on him to speak any moment in leesburg, virginia, and we will bring you any breaking news as it happens. but here he was earlier tonight in virginia beach. >> november the 2nd, we as virginians, we get to stand up and make a defining statement about the future of our commonwealth, a statement that says we believe we will soar, the spirit in the air as virginians coming together, not republicans against democrats, but virginians coming together defining our future. if virginians rejecting a culture that tells our children that they have to shelve their hope. this stopped being a campaign a long time ago. this is a movement led by virginians! >> laura: and this was terry mcauliffe's closing argument. >> 50% of students k-12 art dudes are coloring at 80% of teachers are white. we all know what we have to do in a school to make everybody feel comfortable. so let's diversify. >> laura: are you kidding me? that sums it up. one guy promoting a positive pro-family, pro-business virginia for virginians of all races and creeds. and the other playing to the cheap seats on racial division. it's so revealing and how sad for terry mcauliffe. no wonder the trend line show a solid victory for glenn youngkin. mcauliffe, who already was governor and an old pal of bill clinton's looks kind of like a caught macro gasping for air on the boat deck. the last fox news poll has youngkin up over democrat terry mcauliffe by eight points. 53-45. fox five d.c. has him up by 2, so does the trafalgar group. as someone who's lived on and off in virginia since about 1987, i will say that i have never felt a greater sense of urgency here to elect any g.o.p. candidate. suburban moms who usually meet for coffee at starbucks, they are now power walking to the polls together. 40 something-year-old biden voters are speaking about tomorrow's election in hushed desperate tones on the sidelines of their kids peewee football game. in the official state media outlets are already out spinning a mcauliffe defeat. what are they all have in common? zero sense of self awareness about why the democrats are floundering. the reason is simple. politicians who use racial victimhood as a battering ram and we use our children as guinea pigs for their own radical agenda are finding few takers outside the world of academia and maybe the teachers union. first the specious claim that critical race theory isn't even a thing in our public >> i was at a really today. and it was education, education, critical race theory. and we know it is taught. one of the best school systems. >> laura: apparently the anchors don't have google or twitter where a few days ago chris rufo presented document that crt is most definitely a prominent force in virginia schools. in fact it was done under the administration back in 2015. the virginia department of education told department schools to embrace critical race theory in an effort to reengineer attitudes and beliefs systems. by the way, that is not all, 2019 for state superintendent circulated that champion crt as important analytical tool in the field of education. as we speak the virginia education department promotes the website when page with virtues of antiracism and antiracism acknowledging racist beliefs or pervasive in education and doing work to tear down the bullies and instructors. and even someone who should know a heck of a lot better, like uva professor larry sabato mischaracterizes the virginia parents who led a revolt against the whole antiracism curriculum. >> the operative word is not critical and it's not theory. it is race, a lot of white backlash from a white resistance, whatever you want to call it. it has to do with race. it is a generalized attitude that whites are being put upon and we have to do something about it. we, being white voters. >> laura: a generalized attitude? what! has he not been watching loudoun county? rates covered up become a victim father thrown to the ground and my personal favorite the fraudsters trying to and advanced courses for gifted and talented students. these are very specific and legitimate concerns parents have about the issues that directly affect the lives of children. and as far as this being a white thing since when is quality education a white thing, larry? one of the most outspoken voices against the far left agenda would beg to differ. >> the intersectional world, and emma grant, a mom of color, i am a single mom. but i deny all of these privileges and the new paradigm of the oppression matrix because we are all human beings. that is what we need to teach our children. >> laura: you get it? officially a white thing, right? instead of stuck on the defense of glenn youngkin, smartly focus the campaign on bread and butter issues. the issues that transcend party affiliation. most parents want the schools they fund to work for them, and of course, for their children and not against them. democrats misread the results of the 2020 presidential election, it is obvious tonight. bernie sanders did not win the nomination, joe biden did. biden essentially had a mandate to end covid and that is about it. the far left base wanted so much more, however, he was too weak to resist them as we told you he would be. and mistakingly thought he could collide to victory of anti-trump pms january 6th. this is a recipe for failure not only in politics but the media as well. january 6th is their drug of choice and every day is an overdose. this is so, so encapsulates the whole problem. everyone with a scrap of honor in them was scared leafless of being replaced by a real plotter carry out her. >> actually suggested to hospitals they stalk up blood banks. we actually permitted insurrection to take down the democracy. >> and white are they not screaming about this every singe day? there is nothing to keep josh hawley from taking the chains help at the back door and let people get like a high school shooter. >> laura: this is so pathetic. it is so backward looking. no one is listening to them. probably got more people watching them and they did during the day. the democrat party under biden have gone so far left, it has left america. and even managed to turn on very blue elements in very blue northern virginia. think about it. so much of the success of the democratic party in the last four years was suburban female vote. as usual, democrats took them for granted, including terry mcauliffe. somehow they thought they could rent to the left on education, race, taxes, economy, immigration and still keep a lot on women voters. tomorrow we will show you they were very wrong. the one group the democrats could not afford to alienate, they have succeeded in alienating. on election night 2020 when so many people were demoralized and down, i reminded you that the trump policies worked spectacularly. we needed to do at the time, what we needed to do was stick with them. >> i think when we look at florida and focusing on the g.o.p. for a moment, martha, brett, the coalition the republicans have been able to put together in that state is really something that they should try to replicate as much is possible going forward. the other story which i think you see play out state after state tonight is that trump brought more people to the party and expanded the bays from the blue-collar workers on out. >> laura: has come a ron desantis governing on the same populace agenda that was so successful before covid it during the trump ears. it is a model for the rest of the nation and glenn youngkin is smart enough to see this. just like he had to campaign every county in virginia, republicans 2024 will have to fight in every state, yes, that means 50 state strategy. the polling is showing us america has already had enough. 71% say the country is on the wrong track. that is horrible for biden. his job approval is 43% and republicans are holding 18-point lead over democrats on fixing the economy and the latest nbc poll. in other words, america sees if we go woke, we will go broke. to date only 45% say the economy is doing well. 65% say it is doing poorly. so virginia and florida are clear. trump showed us pragmatic populace pro-american worker policies and education, the economy, immigration work incredibly well. these populace policies work everywhere they are tried. so the democrats, socialist approach fails everywhere it is tried. heck, it has been crashing and burning and herb and american for decades. without safety commit without decent schools, with soaring inflation what do the citizens have to look forward to? a health escape i guess. and to stir up racial tensions, it is not working. people are sick of it all right but it is also wicked and evil. it is evil in the lincoln project, it is evil when political analyst and when biden desert, stacey abrams tries it and when mcauliffe tries it as he did late today. biden ten months and office reminds us stark and painful terms of democrats failure across the board. this failure continued today in scotland where climate control freaks only by private lecture the rest of the world about sacrificing their standard of living. of course, biden falls in line unrepresentative across the atlantic. when biden to tell him his friend in the commonwealth, he understands the significance of it all or a question his decision to cave to the far left at every turn? i wouldn't count on it, but you will. and that is "the angle." joining me now, tom bevan of real clear politics, tom, they have played the race card in virginia up to the last moment. as you have noted that kind of politics at least now is seeing diminishing returns. has that calculus changed? >> no, mcauliffe has made this campaign about trump. on the education issue instead of walking back his mistake he made in the debate, he doubled down and dribble down on it and turned around and said a dog whistle. he brought in barack obama, stacey abrams, kamala harris to try to activate the black vote in virginia, terry mcauliffe has 90% of the vote the first time around. the latest fox poll has an 80%. glenn youngkin 14% in that pole. so mcauliffe needs to get closer to 90%. the other reason they are using the tactic is to win background among white women in the suburbs, northern virginia suburbs where they lost ground on the education issue. that is the beating heart of the demolition without suburban women or african-americans, terry mcauliffe will not win this race tomorrow. >> laura: according to cnn jets felony, mcauliffe is down, tom because of the spending bills have not passed . >> there is no doubt president biden lower approval rating in the commonwealth and elsewhere contributing to the delays among my credits unable to pass infrastructure bill and unable to pass broader reconciliation bill of the social programs. so definitely contributed to really a lack of positivity about the direction of the country. >> laura: tom, have you seen evidence of biden's agenda with democrats and elsewhere? certainly when the president's approval rating is at 43% in virginia it is not helpful to democrats. mcauliffe has two problems, the education issue which exploded and become really a movement. again, in the critical northern virginia suburbs but the biden the recent fox poll said 60 plus percent of people think that either of those two bills massive spending bills passed that they will either not have any effect on the economy or make things worse. so this idea that passing the bill is somehow the cure-all for democrats, i don't think the data supports that purity but certainly the fact the democrats wobbling and unable to get on page, it has contributed to the idea of the democrats are divided, deflated m mcauliffe getting no help from washington or the president. >> laura: it is almost like joe manchin over there in west virginia, it is kind of wait and see how this plays out in virginia or is that kind of a goofy analysis? talking about the budget gimmicks today and seemed quite exasperated about what the progress of trying to pull into spending bill, tom. and as he is about to take the stage. >> joe manchin blue things up, but also given his past history on this, i think he wants to get the infrastructure bill passed and we will see what he does on the other bill. i think democrats unhappy with what he did and how the timing in which he made his announcements. >> laura: tom, great to see you thank you so much. as you can see, there is glenn youngkin the final push and he will be taking the stage any moment. we will go to it perhaps in the next couple of minutes. he is doing that dancing thing. here he is, let's watch it. we told him not to dance. didn't raymond tell him that? he has over 3500 people there. some up to 5,000 according to the friends on the ground. who is the better dancer at this point? terry mcauliffe or glenn youngkin? neither will be on "dancing with the stars" but the energy and emotion clearly with glenn youngkin at this point. we were driving through northern virginia earlier tonight, and parents and kids on their way to sports practice, coming back from sports practice, they were having spontaneous little rallies. they were popping up and waving at people. they seem to be getting a lot of positive response, including from the host. but we were waving at the crowd there. now, we will move on and go back to the youngkin rally in a moment when he starts talking. let's go to chris rufo here because contrary what the democrats would have you believe, critical race theory is being taught in virginia and also pushed in corporate america. in fact at&t with racial education program that promotes toxic ideas including that american racism is uniquely white trait. one senior employee tells journalists rufo fat white employees to confess white privilege under threat of negative performance review. that same source as employees are pressured into finding a loyalty pledge to keep pushing for change, but reading more about systemic racism and challenging others language, chris rufo, senior fellow contributing editor joins me now. glenn youngkin is about to take the stage and start speaking i should say in virginia at a rocking rally. critical race theory a huge issue in virginia. they tried to wish it away but it is being taught in virginia. now, big, major corporations are across the united states. give us the bombshell. >> that is right, critical race theory the default ideology of -- and absolutely taught in virginia. terry mcauliffe with critical race theory and all public schools last governor 2015. we see it in at&t, the front page of internal critical race theory training program, they told white employees "white people, you are the problem." this is the kind of degrading, dehumanizing and racing rhetoric that has no place in our corporations or schools. about the elite people of our country, people like terry mcauliffe, people like randy weingartner, the teachers union president and ceo of a great company like at&t and formally a great company, it is all the rage and up to us to expose and stop it. i hope that people that are floating in virginia get out for glenn youngkin. it is time to say no to racial centralism in our schools. >> laura: chris come a lot of the work you have done to expose it is coming to light across the country. we will depend but stick around we will dip into see what glenn youngkin is saying in his closing remarks in the campaign. >> the commonwealth is well below expectations. commonwealth of high expectations. friends, this is our moment where we stand up for our children, for our grandchildren come up for our niece has come up for our nephews come up for decide that we win back and will be in charge of our children's education. [cheers and applause] we know, we know in order to do this, we have to break the power out of richmond. we have to have a moment where power shifts away from the marble halls of richmond and moved to the kitchen tables around virginia. kitchen tables that are bound together by freedom and liberty. [cheers and applause] but these kitchen tables, these kitchen tables sometimes, that discussion happens over breakfast after a midnight shift. where we are talking about the issues most important to us. those issues that will define the future of this commonwealth. those issues that we, as virginians, share the values from the farms in shenandoah to the talks in newport news to literally to the monuments of arlington cemetery to the banks of the james river. to the school board meetings in loudoun county. [cheers and applause] this is where parents are. this is where virginians are appear this is where we come together to redefine the future. folks, to stop being a campaign a long time ago. it started being a movement led by all of you. led by you! [cheers and applause] and as we head to the polls tomorrow, we have to remind ourselves that this virginia that we know we can build together, this virginia that is the promise that we have held out for our children and grandchildren, this promise of virginia where we can, in fact, see our kids dream the biggest dreams they can dream of and go get them. this virginia where the parents and grandparents go for a walk the only thing to worry about is what they will do tomorrow because what to do today was so great. this virginia where the children can be college ready or career ready. this virginia where, in fact, more money in your pocket versus terry mcauliffe pocket. [cheers and applause] this is the virginia promise that we can build together, but that promise hangs in the balance. it hangs in the balance because tomorrow, we must go get it. it will not be given to us. this democracy is not a spectator sport. it is an active involvement. we must go get it. we must go get it. [cheers and applause] and so, we find ourselves tonight, tonight, thinking about what can happen tomorrow. what can happen tomorrow will be a statement, a statement that will be heard across the country. because america needs us to vote tomorrow as well. america is watching. [cheers and applause] why? why? because all across this country, families are having the same discussions that you all have. i get notes all day long. glenn, save it for our kids too. stand up for our children because we can't vote this year. you in virginia duke. we have problems in our school boards, in our schools, stand up for us, virginia. let me tell you virginia will stand up for them tomorrow. that is what we are going to do. [cheers and applause] [chanting: usa, usa, usa! >> friends, do you know what is at stake? we view the future of the commonwealth and the future of the country will be decided tomorrow. our nation's history is how commonwealth history. every nation's future was going to be determined by the present. how we vote tomorrow will make such a statement, such a statement for families around this great country to have hope, to recognize that yes, the values that we hold dear, the values that underpin this country are still alive and well. we can put them into action tomorrow! [cheers and applause] so here we go. here we go tomorrow, folks. what we need to do tomorrow show up and vote. we need to show up and vote. because nothing happens unless we fully engage. and then, when we fully engage, let me tell you what will happen tomorrow. we will sweep our statewide offices tomorrow. [cheers and applause] sweep them! and we are going to elect the next attorney general. [cheers and applause] and let me tell you, let me tell you, attorney general mark kerry won't investigate loudoun county school board, jason will. [cheers and applause] and we are going to elect the next lieutenant governor. [cheers and applause] and we are going to sweep into office a brand-new majority in our house of delegates. [cheers and applause] but we are also -- >> laura: wow, glenn youngkin on fire with the education issue and beyond in his closing arguments for the commonwealth and for the virginia governorship. again, i've lived in virginia on and off 25 years. i have not seen that type of energy in a long, long time. chris rufo, you are still with us. you are watching this unfold. this is bellwether, perhaps or how things will go midterm elections if, indeed, glenn youngkin pulls out the victory which is now expected by many. >> yeah, that is right. terry mcauliffe presented a really grim vision of faceless bureaucrats and school administrators, forcing critical race theory on kids and telling them inherently oppressive. covering up sexual predators in schools like loudoun county. glenn youngkin is presenting a hopeful, optimistic vision and trust american families, american families. he wants to put more power and authority back in individual people. he wants to liberate students and inspire them to achieve academic excellence. the choice to me is clear. i hope the virginia voter see what is happening here they get around the lives of terry mcauliffe campaign. they embrace their destiny and future, which i think youngkin laid out tonight. all of you and virginia make the best choice and get out to vote. >> laura: chris, thank you and the reporting on at&t. we really appreciate it. >> you can't force someone to have medical treatment that they don't want to have. it is a violation of human rights. >> i will tell all of the politicians, stop playing politics with their lives and stick to the science. >> they claim to help us the most, the democrats, and then forcing something they know people of color have rights, like, you know, we are worried about the outcome. >> 26 fire houses are affected. 26! and to say, it's not affecting? he is a liar. he is a liar. >> we don't judge and say are you worth saving? but now our livelihoods and our families well being is a question, are we worth it? we never asked that question during the pandemic. we are being thrown to the trash like garbage. it's not right. >> the city has decided to divide us. they want us fighting each other because they don't want to find out they are the ones. >> laura: new york city anti-vaccine and date protesters today. but they are not the only ones out there opposed to vaccine mandates. a new nbc poll found 50% of americans oppose but 41% strongly opposed. among them in a new york city firefighters. in fact 2300 have called in sick over the past week ahead of the city's vaccine mandate going into effect today. joining me now andrew, president of the uniformed firefighters association. andrew, is the city going to work with a union, or are they in intent on ignoring you and allowing all of the firefighters basically to be forced off of the job? >> well, by design, they don't want to work with us. when you tell someone they have nine days the mid-nineties to make a decision for a vaccination or lose their job, they don't want to work with you. teachers were given over a month, and corrections does not have to make the decision until december 1st. so once again, the mayor is showing people that care for criminals have more rights than people who care for the average new yorker. i would like to go back to the notion of 2300 firefighters have gone out sick for this. the department doesn't share the numbers with us, but the commissioner the department said today that he believes a sick out and vaccine related. the vast majority of the firefighters that are out sick or unvaccinated. you can't claim that the unvaccinated firefighters with shortage because this morning you were sending them home so they would not have been working either way. now, it it is no secret firefighters love their job and they continue to work harder. and those firefighters are faced with the possibility of losing their jobs. they want to document the injuries before they went out the door. they are not taking to account the numbers are skewed, firefighters are always sick and injured from duty. even with florida, fortis vaccine mandate started and we had 16 firefighters on medical leave. for every one covid relief. one half of 1% was out with covid to. >> laura: there is good news out of cook county and chicago breaking late today. a cook county judge with the order for the police's petition to stay of the covid vaccine mandate there. does that give you some hope if there is legal avenue here? >> you know, there are people that claim that vaccine come i was vaccinated the first day and educate of my members the best of my ability to the vaccine. but from the beginning, a lot of members didn't feel they need it because they were already infected previously. now, what came out of cook county does bring us hope. we are counting on the lessons here but we are not anti-vaccine but anti-mandate. we just want our day in court. eight days, eight days, i'm sorry, nine days to go from the announcement to compliance does not give you enough time to have your day in court. we just want our day in court. we want to have the ability -- >> laura: andrew, this will backfire on bill de blasio just like so many other policies from defund the police to all the issues propped up with law and order. it is all spectacularly backfiring. the firefighters have been through so much and observe a heck of a lot better than this. thank you for advocating for them, andrew, keep us up to date. dinosaurs crashed into the conference and biden gets a cold reception and in the air raymond arroyo has the details in "seen and unseen next. to make progress, we must keep taking steps forward. we believe the future of energy is lower carbon. and to get there, the world needs to reduce global emissions. at chevron, we're taking action. tying our executives' pay to lowering the carbon emissions intensity of our operations. it's tempting to see how far we've come. but it's only human... to know how far we have to go. ♪ ♪ >> laura: it is time for "seen and unseen" segment where we expose the stories behind the headlines. fox news contributor raymond arroyo. raymond, i do think larger-than-life speaker address the u.n. on climate change. >> you can say that again, laura. this video was actually produced by the u.n. development program, watch. >> going extinct is a bad thing. you are headed for a climate disaster. before it is too late. >> the u.n. should save its credibility before it's too late. but that wasn't the only dinosaur to address the climate today and glasgow. it was practically gymnastic, jurassic park. >> no nation can wall wall itself off from threads. it is only reinforced to diversify sources and adapt promising new clean energy technology. so we cannot only remain reliant on one source of power. we all must share a cleaner, safer, healthy planet. we have an obligation to help. the united nations since september, the private sector, the development banks must also do the work. >> they would be better to restrict biden to photo flops and released statements, laura. i spoke to a member of the delegations and glasgow today off the record appear they told me the people in attendance were actually shocked by biden's performance and rambling syntax but for the first time it for many the first time in the flesh and not an edifying picture. >> laura: you know what i kept thinking?
