it leaves your head scratched, right? what are your thoughts on it? >> well first of all you have to get the truth. they aren't telling you the truth and you don't know. i know for a fact because i had an opportunity as i was doing some of my visits around the state of georgia and listening sessions to some of the police atlanta has been flooded with drugs from them not securing the border. that's what we have to find out. let's get back to the basics. should we have secured borders? we have to do something about it but we have to vet people that's coming into this country. we have rules in this country we have to go by. we're getting people in our elected office that isn't being held accountable and that's the first thing that we have to do is hold people accountable. they aren't telling you the truth and not giving you the numbers. what can you go by? you started to say they're important. let's start there. >> they're important because they are the ones that sway elections, control of the house and senate will be totally determined by those that are truly in the middle that maybe aren't registered with one particular party. they pay attention, they vote, they care but they also want to see people get along. remember, joe biden was supposed to be the guy who had been in washington, d.c. for nearly 50 years. he knew how to bring people together. there has barely been even an attempt to try to get people together. you can look at the budget, reconciliation, immigration, crime, foreign policy. you can go through every single thing and then underlying it all you have a very weak person in joe biden. i think he is physically weak and he is not a good communicator. in this day and age you have to be an exceptional communicator. he is not. he won't even take questions with one of our greatest allies. >> harris: a group of four house republicans are filing articles of impeachment against president biden now citing his chaotic withdrawal from afghanistan and mishandling of the immigration crisis at the southern border. one of the lawmakers, ohio bob gibbs said this. it is clear the president is not up to the job, that his entire administration is willing to thumb its nose at the constitution. what does it mean and could it really go anywhere? >> i like bob gibbs. he is a good man and cares about the country. i compare and contrast it to the democrats who were talking and there were articles written even before donald trump took office saying they would impeach him. they are looking at specific issues. as a house member you are one of 435, four people that come together and say they'll file articles of impeachment. that's about all you can do. you can fight for what you honestly believe in and if you can sell that to others, if you can share that, create a compelling case, then it will grow in numbers. but i'm sympathetic to what they are doing. i think it's futile. i don't know it will necessarily work but as an individual member of congress that's what you tell your constituents what you will do. everything you can possibly do. >> harris: i don't know if you heard herschel walker saying if you love the country you solve problems like what is going on at the border. i want to get your reaction to breaking news. a source confirmed to fox news the whistleblower behind the leaked documents report evidence by the "wall street journal" is turning that information over to lawmakers that exposed how facebook research found its products are actually harming teenage girls to the point where some of them harm themselves, commit suicide. but the platform hid that research. the whistleblower will likely testify on capitol hill a week from today and facebook will send a top executive to that hearing. you former oversight committee chairman, what do you think are some questions that will come up and how much trouble could facebook be in over this? >> i noticed they got a new camper for the back of the pickup. i saw them doing some work and then when they prepared for their trip, i saw them loading the camper. >> you are talking about brian and his parents after he returned home, is that correct, in a different camper? >> yes. the van is his. his father has a pickup truck which they purchased an in-bed camper. >> harris: i tell you what, the f.b.i. may not have been seeing all of them come and go perhaps but their neighbors were watching, jonathan. >> certainly a lot of developments taking place at the laundrie family's home. one just occurring a little earlier this morning. police releasing the car that brian laundrie had been driving after he returned from his trip out west. it is his mother's ford mustang, roberta laundrie drove it back to her home and parked it in the driveway before leaving with her husband in their pickup truck. police had taken the car into evidence monday while executing a search warrant on the laundrie family home. police will not say at this point what evidence they were able to obtain from the vehicle. this morning authorities have resumed their search of the massive carlton reserve just outside of town. police say dive teams and cadaver dogs are part of the overall effort and not a response to any specific evidence or tip. gabby's stepfather visited the wyoming campground where authorities found her bodies. he made a cross and flowers on the spot. memorials continue to grow for gabby in cities she lived and visited including salt lake city. >> it's nice to see. the world is so divided and it is nice when people can come together when there is something so important and precious as a lost life. >> the coroner ruled the case a homicide but awaiting further tests before determining the exact cause of death. >> harris: thank you very much. mark fuhrman is a retired lapd detective and fox news contributor. we've seen so many details that point to the fact people have their eyes open. we depend on the public in these types of cases in our own reporting and as law enforcement. what do you make of it all? >> obviously we know the exact time that gabby was last seen alive and that's very helpful. but when you see the circumstances going on with the neighbors, you have not necessarily unnatural but untimely purchase of a camper at the same time brian laundrie comes home. the family doesn't want to cooperate with police but they do cooperate telling the police he is missing and he went into this reserve and you kind of wonder, is this a red herring developed by the laundrie family and brian laundrie to keep them busy while he goes in an opposite direction. >> harris: i want to remind everybody when we cover the news on this story we always put that bug with the phone number for the f.b.i. up. the public is making a huge contribution along the way in cases like this. the son, mark, is reporting that long to laundrie posted cryptic images on the platform including one that says, quote, don't try to find me. i have finally escaped my master's wicked clutches. and friends of gabby petito have revealed more information about their relationship. one person said they had drama and something below the surface. they had times they were toxic. they had very low lows and very high highs. >> the high highs and low lows is indicative of a -- there is editing done when people are talking about medication and certain issues back in utah. dount know who has the issues. watching the body cam footage in moab, brian laundrie was highly manipulative trying to work these officers, downplay and minimize anything that was going on. he gave me the creeps. if i would have been standing there. i want to say moab is being looked at if they only would have done something this wouldn't have happened. they went over the top. domestic violence laws are not created for people going through your town or your county on a trip in a van. they are made for people that live and reside in a city or county. so they went over the top. four officers investigated it and did what was probably the only thing they could do, separate them for the night and let them cool down. they will be on their way whether somebody was arrested or not. they will be bailed out and the situation continues. so when i watched that video, brian laundrie is the one that really stands out. he is trying to control the officers. >> harris: it is fascinating your look at it, too. you hear him on the tape when they offer to get him medical attention for the scratches on his face he downplays everything. well, if you think it's best. if you want to. i'm paraphrasing it a little but he was down playing it. your experience with the laws and listening to you tell it from the perspective of those police officers and how far they did go is very helpful. mark fuhrman, thank you. a new television series on the bill clinton and monica lewinsky scandal starting a conversation on who deserves the most sympathy in that. i only call it the bill clinton scandal. guess what?
