troops home. the move is long overdue and a goal of the trump administration you should recall. biden won't get the credit he deserves in ending one awful war if he helps ignite a more damaging one here at home. far from governing as the moderate figure that so many suburban woman thought he would be. biden is a radical and his narratives are pitting american against american along racial, ethnic, political lines. for starters, there's the fbi's move to surveil and target trump supporters as domestic extremists. >> they call themselves patriots. they've been revealed to be traitors and terrorists. >> there are legitimate white supremacists sympathizers that sit at the heart and the corps of the republican caucus. >> laura: now, the defamation of red states that is happening for merely ensuring fair voting procedures -- >> most restrictive voter law since jim crow. >> should be designed to put pressure on the entire infrastructure. >> what do you think about the possibility that baseball decides to move their all-star game bought of this political issue? >> i strongly support them. >> laura: his nonstop lies about america as an inherently evil and anti-black nation. >> black americans and black men in particular have been treated throughout the course of our history as len than human. >> as the vice president just referred to, there's systemic racism and a stain on our nation's soul. the knee on the neck for justice for black americans. >> laura: this is not only fuelling racial unrest and unhappiness but historical and cultural devastation. this is what the marx's radicals did in new york city thursday night. now, as the angle told you months ago, last summer's attacks on our historical monuments were never really about taking a stand against the confederacy. the confederacy is dead. it's one more step toward erasing our historical understanding altogether. these were the tactics of the worst dictators of the 20th century from lenin to stalin. a revolution requires the people reject most everything that came before so that it can be replaced with a new collectivist agenda. that's what blm and antifa and the beliefs and the goals and the messages. they're being embraced and advanced by the larger democrat party and the media. by the way, the larger democrat party also includes joe's old boss. in a new interview with bet, obama encouraged black americans to keep marching, keep speaking up, keep voting. he added that police violence and other reminders of the legacy of bigotry and unequal treatment can make people question if things will ever get better. i was thinking, you know, that is coming from obama. if only our racist country had elected a black man president not once but twice. imagine. oh, wait. we did. he went on to accuse republicans of the divided demoralized strategy his own party is using saying they know they can't win you over with their policies so hoping to convince you that your vote and voice doesn't matter. that's how they win. nice try, barry. the facts don't lie. trump's america first low tax policies including keeping pressure on the labor market, keeping it tight and keeping the pressure on china, that was a boon for all americans. but especially for minorities and blue collar workers. remember median household income rose more than $6,000 after it had been stagnating for two decades? if obama had done what trump did for black workers, he still would be bragging about it. the democrat machine relies on division because they can't risk telling the truth. their open borders, anti-police, high tax policies are a complete disaster for working class americans of all background. so obama, biden, harris, pelosi, schumer, they know full well that a populist conservative agenda is hard to beat. but lucky for them, they have media co-conspirators that will allow activists to appear on air, lie and smear police and of course no real fact checking whatsoever. >> where we have police homicides, the leading cause of death among men, black people being disproportionately killed at the hands of the police, it is not wrong. it's in fact right for people to ask, is it appropriate? >> laura: jake tapper blinks along. here's the facts. last year 1,021 people were killed by the police nationally. of those, 243 were blacks. now, that's a lot. sounds like a lot until you realize that last year in chicago alone at least 576 african americans were murdered. and as the facts tell us mostly by other african americans. that murder and crime is getting worse. somehow and with all of this still happening, mayor lightfoot has decided to take bold action. she wants -- get this -- to require that police obtain permission from their supervisors before they can start chasing down suspects on foot. that's going to work well. she's not alone. new york state attorney general james has proposed that new york city police cease altogether routine traffic stops. nothing good comes from those. berkeley, california banned officers for making stops for many traffic offenses. cities like lansing, michigan, d.c. is following suit. >> you've got to show that law enforcement has to work hand and glove on those matters that communities do. not stopping people because a taillight is out. not stopping people because their license is expired. this continues the discredited approach of broken windows of 1990s policing. this used to happen on a broad basis all across the nation. >> sean: >> laura: isn't this what they're doing in san francisco, by the way? petty crime don't matter. go to the bathroom in the street. it's fine as long as we feel good about each other. bear in mind, should the george floyd policing act pass, the group known as the urban league and others like it, one of those in line to receive 5% of the police force budget to create their own oversight and protocols for local departments. i mean, so they're on tv and they're going to get a piece of it. this is a brazen attempt to destroy policing from within and destroy the rule of law. biden's war, yes, this is it. it's pitting american against american based on race, demonizing the police who maintain what is left of law and order. that's part of it. could you really imagine a world where red state america will just go along and nod, say sure, let's keep doing this blatantly unconstitutional actions based on race? go along with this forever? hard to imagine it. america's most dangerous insurrectionists are not the goofy qanon people in fur and face paint. the real threat to our future is biden and the well-healed powerful forces that want us to lose sight of what made america great in the first place. it's not our diversity. it's our freedom. that's the angle. joining me now is matt walsh, host of the mat walsh show. matt, you have to give the left credit. they're totally unified when it comes to their own push for this collectivist marxist agenda in the middle of the chaos of pandemic. people are still demoralized and feel somewhat locked down and squared. but they stay together. >> they do. they're on the same page with destroying civilization. give them credit for that. one thing to keep in mind when you look at new york city, the rioting that we've seen. we're always tempted to say oh, it's mob rule. i've said that. really looks like that. looks like mob rule. that's not exactly the case. it's because you have the elites, the most powerful people in the country that are engineering this, allowing it to happen, encouraging it. it's those people that are using the mob to affect their end. the mob is manipulated by people like joe biden. this week we've seen from the white house a few of the most repugnant and irresponsible things we've seen from a white house in a long time. first, we have joe biden calling for a guilty verdict in the chauvin trial while the jury is deliberating. and then in the shooting in columbus, ohio with the girl with a knife about to stab someone to death. hero cop stops that from happening. what does the white house do the next day? they accuse him of racism. they tie that to systemic racism. say whatever you want about donald trump and his tweets or his rhetoric, he never did or said anything close to that. that's what we get from joe biden in a week. >> laura: a professor at fordham university in new york was on msnbc today with a special take on policing. >> it's beyond just a few bad apples or incidents. we have a real systematic widespread clearing out of officers. it has to be a systemic change from washington d.c. to police departments across the country. >> laura: matt, it is the professor's world now, is it not? we're living on a college campus. it's a campus we can't ever graduate from. because the professors seem to be in charge with these policies. >> they are. what we're hearing now, it's so delusional, this idea that there's systemic racism in policing, police are hunting and killing innocent black men. it's entirely delusional. it's not clues to true. you gave the statistics that are important. in a given year, there's 10 million arrests. police affect about ten million arrests. about 1,000 shootings of those arrests. a very small percentage. the vast majority of those, it's a straightforward case. there's a reason why the vast majority you never hear about. the vast majority of police shootings involving black men. why is that? the vast majority it's straightforward. someone trying to kill a cop. only in a small, small tiny sliver of a percentage is the suspect unarmed. most of those cases it's a white suspect. when it's unarmed white or black, they're still in the process of trying to kill a cop another way. run them over or something like that. there's this systemic problem that we hear about doesn't exist. it's an invention of the left. >> laura: thanks, matt. i want to go to to aftermath of the chauvin trial. an alternate speaking out about the sense of fear that she and her colleagues felt. here's what lisa christensen told cnn yesterday. >> i was concerned to my safety to a point that we hadn't heard any facts or anything yesterday. so depending which way it went, i felt like some people -- you can't please everybody all the time. i felt certain groups might feel certain ways. i was concerned about that. >> laura: she was more with a local reporter. alan, it's hard to imagine that sense of fear didn't impact the jury in some way. but we won't know, i guess. we'll never know. your thoughts? >> we should no. there's not a reason the judge should have called in every single jury after congresswoman waters made her statements. why not call in the jurors and ask them, do you know about this statement? have you heard about it? are you afraid? do you have the kind of fear that if you come out with a verdict that will not please someone it could cause riots? i have absolutely zero doubt that jurors in that jury room were worried about their welfare if they were to come to a conclusion that murder was not committed? if they had come to a verdict of manslaughter or not guilty, they would worry their welfare, their children, their businesses, their schools, their neighborhoods would be burned down. they weren't the only ones that were worried. every police chief, the mayor. the president of the united states said the jurors were under enormous pressure. that's not the way it's supposed to operate. jurors are supposed to be isolated, insulated, segregated and kept in a separate hotel room during the entire process and never should have been allowed to hear what people like maxine waters were threatening. >> laura: alan, really quick question. are you concerned about a precedent being set with this trial with future trials of people, police officers, others whose outcome -- doesn't this set its own precedent? >> we already see that with kim potter that committed no crime whatsoever having been charged with manslaughter. we see it with the other three accessories. we don't know whether they will get a sequestered jury. the trial will take place in minneapolis. that is a mistake. it's going to be very hard for the judge in that case to make a decision whether to sequester. if the judge sequesters, it will be a slap in the face. if the judge doesn't sequester, he ought to learn his lesson. >> laura: the constitution i don't think we want terrified jurors. okay? terrified jurors are going to be under enormous pressure to come down one way or the other and not necessarily according to the facts of the case. alan, thank you. and through masks and climate hysterics, the left is doing irreparable harm to our kids. is their own form of child abuse. how can we fight back? a little later in the show is the return of the worst in media. we'll reveal the worst, the biggest and the more horrific offenders of the week coming up. >> i have a 9-year-old daughter and three kids. i told my daughter i would be speaking with you. i said what do you think about climate change? she said the earth is on fire and we're all going to die soon. i asked her how that made her feel. she said it made her feel angry. >> laura: you would think that congresswoman katie porter would want to calm, not stoke her daughter's fears. you'd be wrong. if democrats on the left are willing to project their own freaky phobias and radicalism on their own kids, imagine what they're going to do to your kids. they're condemning the next generation and beyond to become woke likely susie will say, my pronounces he, she, him, her, i'm nonbinary but considering trinary. if you don't affirm her insanity, you'll be cancelled as a person. the kids will be paranoid. they believe the world will end in ten years. >> what i'm here to say is unlike you, my generation will not give up without a fight. and to be honest, i don't believe for a second that you will actually do this. >> laura: they're going to be terrified. they'll be easier to control since they will live in this constant state of fear about everything from a maga hat guy to -- i don't know -- a police officer in a uniform. the kids will be hypochondriacs. mommy what about the sniffles? >> should americans be ready for a new surge in the next couple months, dr. fauci? >> you always want to be prepared for that type of thing. there may be variants that are circulating. >> laura: well, the kids will be disrespectful because think will hate the country in a way hate you for having all of your old values. meanwhile, they'll be taught to worship marxist agitators as climate revolutionaries. it doesn't have to be this way. that was manure by the way. that was their protest. parents need to step up and teach kids actual history, real science and real critical thinking skills. we can do our part to stop this madness. you don't want your kids collecting manure and throwing it in the street, do you? when it comes to being woke or anti-racist, democrats are the biggest hypocrites. every denim just voted against cutting off taxpayer funding to colleges that discriminate against asian americans. so when it comes to real racial discrimination, democrats are not just absent, they actively defend it. here with me now is melissa chen, a journalist at the spectator foundation. this is simple yet perfect distallation of the modern left. >> you're right. what is happening here is that the success of asian americans as a group is -- cannot be reconciled with the current tenants of diversity, equity and inclusion. rather than asking difficult questions, what can we do about it, why is this the case, they seek to change the situation by discriminating against asians to decrease enrollment across the board. so this is the push for affirmative action. it's a push to basically decrease enrollment. this is happening in a backdrop where biden's doj has dropped the lawsuit against yale for the asian american discrimination. you have schools that are abolishing their longstanding tests because too many asians have been getting in. it's an equity play all across the board. >> laura: i have to -- i have to remind everybody, in fairfax county, virginia, i believe if it's not the number 1 it's the number 2 science and technology school -- >> it's number 1. >> laura: number 1. t.j., right? we don't want to make the other kids feel bad so we're going to get rid of advanced math classes. >> laura: when we were in high school and i went to public school, you had class rank. they posted it. pretty sure most people -- if my memory serves me right -- they don't do that anymore. >> i don't think so. it's considered shaming. >> laura: yeah, you can't do that. so it's back to the everybody gets a trophy thing. >> correct. >> laura: everybody gets a trophy and what does it mean?
