criminal threat crossing into the country just got more real. >> board of regents overwhelmed with children on the border you have these types of people coming across the border with criminal records but also on the nba watchlist, in the central sector were these two men were apprehended. there are a lot of other apprehensions on the border every single day, they are not subject to public release but what happens when you overwhelm border patrol and don't support men and women of law enforcement. lawrence: bill haggerty is urging president biden to assure any budget to fight progressive pressured to defund the agency. jillian: chicago mayor lori lightfoot vowing to find the adult who gave a 13-year-old boy a gun before he was killed by police. adam toledo died after being chased by officers into an alley. police say a gun found at the scene, things like this happen too often in chicago in time to say no more. >> i directed the superintendent and chief detective to use every resource to track down the origins through tracing, fingerprinting and dna and to find the person responsible for doing this. >> lightfoot is directing the police superintendent to draft a new foot pursuit policy before the anticipated summer surge in violence. >> unrest organizer facing attended murder charges for a firebomb attack in portland, police say malika mohammed through this molotov cocktail a policeman during the september riots and also allegedly through at an officer two days later. investigators found this bottle filled with explosive liquid and said they have footage of mohammed, ironically he made headlines last year during a protest in minneapolis. >> arkansas governor asa hutchinson vetoes a bill that would have banned doctors from providing gender confirming treatment or surgery to transgender youth. >> house bill 1570 becomes law than we are creating new standards of legislative interference to physicians and parents as they deal with some of the most complex and sensitive matters involving young people. >> reporter: hutchinson says the bill is about government overreach. the arkansas state republican legislature can override the veto with a majority vote in the house and senate. major league baseball may have to be home for the all-star game, sources say the game left after the league pulled out of georgia. neil: jackie ibanez joined us with more. >> reporter: the mlb plans to relocate the all-star game to coors field in denver, colorado. they pulled out of atlanta last week in protest of georgia's new election laws which include restrictions on voting by mail and id requirements. >> this is unfair to hard-working georgians, small business owners and baseball fans not only here but all across the country, now this great sport, america's pastime is now going to be politicized. a bunch of spineless corporations that won't just say we are not engaging in that. jillian: colorado requires id to vote and has fewer days of early voting. it gives ballast to registered voters and has not been handing out food and water to voters. both allow vote by mail. of the critics include the ceo of delta air lines and coca-cola both headquartered in atlanta. they say the laws are too restrictive. republicans say it will backfire. >> we will see how they do when half the country puts drinking coca-cola, or quit using delta. they are welcome but they really doing something against the financial interest of every business. >> they make billions of dollars, hundreds of millions business with the communist regime in china that is guilty of atrocities and genocide. they don't say a word. >> reporter: the controversy made its way to texas where 40,000 fans packed the stands for the rangers opening game. governor greg abbott is president biden's infrastructure spending spree stall before it starts? joe manchin is rejecting the massive corporate tax increase. the tax foundation says it would kill tens of thousands of american jobs. >> it has to be changed, that is what the legislation, going anywhere. it is more than just me. there are certain other democrats who feel strongly about this. we won't throw caution to the wind. lawrence: thanks so much for being with us. is this going to kill jobs? >> they have to do something, pass it on to customers, higher prices or pass it on to workers at lower wages. this is the real issue. senator manchin gets it. you can trace the corporate tax rate of 28%, that would put us at the top of the highest taxed countries in the world. that's not a list you want to be on top of. people think the corporate tax rate in america came down under donald trump. it came down but didn't put us at the bottom of the list, we are right in the middle. any increase moving up, to the top of the list and in a moment, competing around the globe for business, china competing hard to win the commercial race. jillian: i would like to think how is this going to impact every american? not just americans who work in these corporations but americans who might have their own business or work on main street versus wall street. how will they be affected by this? >> every business is related to every other business. they get supplies from someone else and when you slowdown growth which is what a tax increase does, that hits everybody. everybody is affected even if they don't work for these companies. more americans hold their retirement and investment portfolios that are invested in companies with higher tax rates when taxes go up, those returns to workers go down, it is options, a growing economy where companies are higher but when you raise taxes in this country you are encouraging companies to get out of here, reducing job opportunities to keep wages lower. this is an issue for everybody not just those who work for fortune 500 companies, everybody who buys products this is an american issue. this has broad consequences. >> saying george soros pledging $20 million to put pressure on democrats to make sure it gets passed, to make this happen. >> you are not the politician here. i would say there are a number of democrats around the country in places where recovery is happening in blue-collar manufacturing jobs, we want to get people back to work, we are not interested in pursuing ideological projects that make things better for american workers so those democrats are concerned about this. they do what they can to get something passed. if i am an american looking at this issue, i'm calling my senator and saying keep america competitive. this is a moment we can step aside, whether this is a great place to do business, now is the moment america has to be the best place to do business and that starts with making sure business taxes are competitive. they are right now but moving them up would be a long way to go. lawrence: thank you as always. jillian: the family says they were kicked off a spirit flight because there 2-year-old wearing their masks correctly. they were on board a flight from orlando to new jersey. they spoke with an airline supervisor. youth sports underway around the country but the cdc director said those activities are limited. >> the cdc is recommending children sports, outbreaks of coronavirus and young people stemming from those activities. cdc director saying cases nationally are increasing the majority of them in younger adults. >> many outbreaks are related to youth sports and occur, extracurricular activities according to cdc guidance these activities should be limited. if they are not the risks of clusters can be pervasive, can be prevented with testing strategies being rolled out in so many different places. >> spectators in california last week the department of health privately months ago. just days after issuing this chilling warning to her loved ones, quote, if anything happens to me it would be larry. her brother-in-law richard and the called case foundation. i am so sorry you are having to have this conversation months later. i want you to tell us the last time you talked to your sister and what the conversation was like. >> new year's weekend we spent camping together, was pretty normal with them and there's nothing unusual, regular conversations, they had an argument with her husband, that is kind of alarming at that time. jillian: is it out of the ordinary to not speak to family? >> know, that is out of the ordinary. she is not that kind of person. she loves her family, her kids, she's not the type of person who will forget her 3 kids. we are a tight knit family. jillian: tell me about the warning she made to her family that, quote, if anything happened to me it would be larry, what did she mean by that? >> they have been having marital issues. we hadn't thought about it that much when she said it. it was a regular conversation. but then to this point we put it together since she has been missing, putting it out there giving us a hint at that time but getting to that point. jillian: when was the last time anybody in the family spoke to larry? >> a few days after. on the north one at a time in communication with him and the hardest part is it is hard. jillian: i went to get bill in here and get a few questions to you while i have you. this photo larry texted of your family, ability alter with their photo on it. this is highly disturbing to anyone who would look at this image. was this disturbing to you when you got this photo? what do you think has happened to mia millete? >> it was a shock for me. just recently after seeing that photo, i didn't know how intense it was or how shocking it was. it was a shock to me. jillian: you are hearing richard talk about mia millete and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance where are we with this investigation and what happens next? >> there is much more evidence than just her saying if anything happens to me it would be larry, found the photo that was sent to a third-party by larry and one of the things that concerned me following her disappearance was a whole touched in the door where she was hiding from larry for several days, the house, all the windows, the house was being aired out, the day she contacted a divorce attorney to file divorce paperwork is a day she went missing. there are other conversations, the evidence is fairly compelling. there are 3 minor children in the house that need to be protected and we need to get justice for mia millette. do you want me going to other information? jillian: we are running out of time but i do understand larry, larry has hired an attorney, told local media he is grateful for the efforts but police say he is no longer cooperating which is an interesting point. as we near the 3 month anniversary of her disappearance i want to reassure the family and our community she's not forgotten and bringing her home safely remains our number one priority. do you think police are doing enough? are you getting answers from them? do you have more questions? >> we wish they were more aggressive, talk to the detectives in that area. waiting to come in so it feels like that is slow. jillian: >> 'cause i do things a little differently. hey, i'll take one, please! wait, this isn't a hot-dog stand? no, can't you see the sign? wet. teddy. bears. get ya' wet teddy bears! one-hundred percent wet, guaranteed! or the next one is on me! only pay for what you need. ♪ liberty. liberty. liberty. liberty. ♪ lawrence: two men on the fbi terror watch list arrested by border agents adjectives raise concern over the criminal threat on the crisis at the border. jillian: this is really disturbing and something you can't escape the situation today. i'm curious what the people of texas will say about this. >> really from now i will talk to diners in mcallen, texas on the border and i will ask about this, you tend to think this is only an immigration issue. it is also a security issue. two yemeni men, one in january, when in march, 133 years old, 126 years old captured coming across the border, a no-fly list, terrorist watchlist, one had a stem card under the sole of his shoe and just reminds us this border issue is not just about migration but united states security from terrorism as well. >> shouldn't we have expected this to happen considering people interested to keep us safe and playing babysitter and the capacity for these kids have a job to do as well. >> i like how you ask that question. it is a reminder as well. there are people in this world that will take advantage of weakness, strength repels others. when the border is strong and does not encourage you to cross it when they see a week border, numbers are going up, it encourages bad actors to take advantage of that. jillian: the texas rangers having their home opener and governor greg abbott declined to throw out the first pitch, what we've been having over the last few days. curious what the governor has to say, quote, i was looking forward to throwing out the first pitch of the texas opening game until what turned out to be a false narrative about georgia's election law reform. it is shameful america's pastime is being influenced by partisan politics. we both had a sports background here, i'm curious your take on the stand because sports became so political and seems this is one of the biggest moves we have seen that have people on both sides fired up over it. >> i can speak as a passionate sports fan. i don't feel the choice is for us to boycott sports but sports is boycotting us telling average americans not only do we disagree with you but we have a real hatred towards you, flat-out falsehoods, lies about the georgia bill, from accepting that, choking it down baseball decides to yank its all-star game array and there has to be a response, some checks, some substantive sanity in the national conversation and if greg abbott says i'm not participating i will not celebrate with you and so be it. that is the way we respond when sports boycott fans. lawrence: texas is 100% open in texas stadium, will will be having breakfast with friends at sweet temptation in mcallen, texas. thank you. >> come join me. see you later. jillian: i will listen to your new podcast. >> download it, thank you. jillian: don't go away, the attorney general who personally invited vice president kamala harris to see the border firsthand joins us live next. . '. . lawrence lawrence welcome back as the situation at the border grows chaotic arizona's be immigration policies. he is calling on bp kamala harris to visit the border right away. attorney general mark brnovich joins me now. obviously this is out of control. what is the legal argument that you are making against the federal government? >> we have several litigation tracks. one of them is we essentially argue by halting deportations that they are violating existing federal law. they have violated the administrative procedures act and violated an mlu that we have with the federal government. that is essentially decriminalizing, those who do not legal status here are not supposed to give government benefit. the biden administration withdrew that dropped their appeal incentivized illegal immigration by doing that they have decriminalized and incentivized and ended up with a mess on the border that's right here in arizona that's going to effect every single person in this country because the cartels control every single person that crosses that border. ice deportations clearly up. once biden is confirmed the next pit of the united states after that november election. so, would it be safe to say that because of his rhetoric on the campaign trail he essentially asked for these people to come here without going through a port of entry? >> i think that's definitely part of it. but, once again, he is decriminalizing. there are literally people coming over here that are literally surrendering to border patrol because they know they are going to be allowed to stay in the country. they are going to be relocated somewhere. they are going to be set up in hotels. you saw recently that homeland security issued a contract trying to like put up hotel rooms that are going to cost every american taxpayer hundreds of thousands of dollars per family. they are giving free healthcare and free benefits. they are essentially not enforcing existing law. then when you put on top of that this incident is i havization of illegal immigration, you end up with this catastrophe. and, of course, as you alluded, to lawrence, joe biden's language is essentially telling everyone they have got a green light. don't believe me if you talk to the border patrol agents, you talk to the border sheriffs, they will tell you the people that they are encountering are saying that they think joe biden is welcoming into this country. that's why vice president kamala harris needs to come down here and see for herself, talk to the people of the sheriffs, local officials to see exactly what's going on. >> lawrence: yeah. attorney general, thank you so much. i will tell you, a lot of people want the vice president there. she has had the job for about two weeks now, over two weeks and she still hasn't made a visit to the border and i think the american people are owed that. thank you so much for coming on the program. >> thank you. lawrence lawrence jillian? jillian: great to hear from him. >> lawrence: a lot of people want her to come there. it is part of her job right now. jillian: absolutely. continue to follow that meanwhile download the fox news app. town load the camera and scan the qr code at the bottom of your screen. >> lawrence: set your dvr 4:00 a.m. every weekday so you never miss a episode of "fox & friends first."
