Former Sudburian competes for the title of Canada's best amateur baker

A fifth generation Sudburian has been chosen out of 1,000 applicants to be one of 10 contestants on CBC’s 4th season of The Great Canadian Baking Show.
Maggie Frith, a self-taught home baker who now lives in Toronto, will compete with ten bakers for the title of Canada’s Best Amateur Baker when the season airs on Feb. 14.

Frith describes herself as a “recovered lawyer” who left the business to focus on her family and her baking.
