A major fire broke out in a pesticide factory on Behra Road in Derabassi, Mohali. The fire was controlled within an hour with no loss of life reported. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have been caused by a short circuit. Machinery, iron sheds, and plastic packaging materials were damaged in the blaze.
