Experts say that Bengaluru is in the throes of one of the coldest winters in the last few years. But that’s not all. Met experts say that the winter may become more intense in the coming days. The data from the India Meteorological Department ( IMD) shows that the minimum temperature recorded on December 22 in the city was 14.4 degree Celsius while this week's minimum temperature is likely to hover around 14 to 15 degree Celsius. However, the data from the Karnataka Natural Disaster Monitoring Committee ( KSNDMC) shows Mahadevapura had the lowest temperature with 11.4 degree Celsius. According to the IMD, the lowest temperature recorded so far in the city has been 7.8 degrees Celsius on January 13, 1884.
