Hazelton, who has previously protested against pandemic orders and vaccines in New Jersey, was arrested Friday in connection with the Capitol's invasion.
The riot occurred after then-President Donald Trump repeated baseless claims of election fraud at a rally and told his audience to march on the Capitol.
Hazelton's attorney, Daryl Kipnis of Medford, said the "ridiculous" charges "appear to be based on a fantastical misinterpretation of words that my client is alleged to have said in a YouTube video that simply does not comport with reality."
"To suggest that she be held criminally liable for the actions of complete strangers where there is no evidence that she intended harm to anyone or anything is ludicrous," he added.
