Investigators obtained a photograph of Petrosh from his driver s license and matched it to images recorded inside the Capitol during the riot, according to an FBI agent s affidavit. It said Petrosh was identified in the Capitol photos by an FBI task force member who has known him for about 15 years. The task force officer, who was otherwise not involved in the investigation, had previously worked with and attended social gatherings with Petrosh, the affidavit said. The officer also said he occasionally sees Petrosh working in the yard or garden, it added. A tipster at one point acknowledged confusing Petrosh and one of his family members before confirming their belief that the Mays Landing man was the person in the Capitol images, the affidavit said.
