Okay to celebrate the election but not the all american thanksgiving. Its going to be a great show. Varney company is about to begin. Stuart yes, i do know this one. Okay. Lets get on with it. Welcome to the show, everybody. Its friday morning and we have this. Health and Human Services secretary alex azar speaking strongly against a second lockdown. Here he is moments ago with maria. Roll tape. You dont need lockdowns, maria. The data clearly demonstrate the interventions we need are simple, they are demonstrated, theyre proven, but theyre not forcing people to stay in their homes, shutting down our businesses, shutting our schools. Stuart lets be clear. He is against a second lockdown. Thats what he was saying about lockdown. Lauren joins us. What did he say about Vaccine Distribution . Lauren he said pfizer will distribute the vaccine directly to pharmacies and he calls it white glove service, because they can handle the quantity and the temperature subzero needed. The white house and the private sector are working hand in hand to get the most vulnerable inoculated next month, all seniors and First Responders january and come april, anybody who wants one. Theyre moving fast. Stuart no second lockdown and here comes the vaccine. Got it. Lauren, thank you very much. Speaker pelosi and schumer, senator schumer, now pushing for another stimulus. Now, my question is, how much . Susan they are sticking to 2. 4 trillion. We know Senate Leader Mitch Mcconnell wants a skinnier bill, 500 billion. The white house stepping back in these negotiations but biden is stepping in, pressing the need for a package he says in talks with pelosi and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer and he wants it before the end of this year. But with a lame duck session in place for the rest of 2020, stimulus hopes are at alltime high on the stock market. Remember in january, pelosi will be losing seats in her majority in the house. Also we know the republican looks to keep hold of the senate. I think it will be very interesting to see who actually has the leverage in these discussions. The stock markets are shaking this all off. We are up for a second straight week for the dow on vaccine hopes. Stuart vaccine hopes. But i think hopes of a stimulus package susan alltime low. Stuart at a low . Susan yeah. No ones expecting it. Again, lame duck session. Stuart really . Susan yeah. Stuart thats this year. What about next year . When the new congress sits . Thats when they are looking for stimulus. Susan theyre looking for something in january. Stuart got it. Lets bring in our market watcher of this friday morning. George, lets get this out of the way. We appear to be on the verge of another lockdown or certainly a new series of restrictions. What would that do for stock prices . Stuart, good morning. I dont know if the biden team is listening to dr. Shutdown or who theyre listening to. Thats the worst thing we could possibly do for the country right now. I really want to see the president and Vice President get in front of the American People with their virus strike force again and encourage the American People to take good steps to stop this spike in the virus were seeing right now because we cant give ammunition to the forces who would have us go back into the bunker. Thats the last thing we need as a country right now. Stuart look, weve got this Record Number of new cases, 159,000 in the latest 24 hours. States all around the country are adding in restrictions. Surely at some point, this becomes a problem for the market, doesnt it . Not right now necessarily, but soon, maybe. We need the president and Vice President to get out in front of the American People and encourage all these states to stay open because it will take the market down and we also need a stimulus package. I would disagree. I think a stimulus package in the 500 billion to 1 trillion range could be done this year and i think we need it right now. We needed it before the election but the speaker blocked it. Hopefully they can come the a deal now so we can get some capital back to companies and individuals that desperately need it at this time. Stuart is that a big plus for the market, the expectation of stimulus maybe early in january or after the inauguration . It will be a plus, stuart, but most important thing we can do right now is stay open. The countrys got to stay open. From the standpoint of not just virus health but Public Health in general. Depression, suicide, other health ailments. Weve got to keep people at work and keep people moving around and theyve got to take precautionary measures so we have ammunition to give to our policy makers so they can courageously do so. Stuart would you be a seller of stock if we get another major leagues lockdown . Absolutely. I would. No question. A lot of other people will be, too. The last thing we need as a country right now. Stuart we hear you and we consider that a warning. Thanks for being with us on a friday morning. Thank you, george. People are going to have to cancel their thanksgiving plans under chicagos new lockdown order. Its kind of a stayathome order, really. Mayor Lori Lightfoot issuing a 30day stayathome advisory amid a spike in covid19 cases, including, that is, a tenperson limit on social gatherings. All of this days after she was celebrating bidens win without a mask in a big crowd. Fox news contributor tammy bruce with us now. Tammy, theres a split in this country. 70 million americans voted for a president who wants to open things up and now big population states are locking things down. That is a total split on treating the virus. Well, it is, and its not so different than what weve been dealing with this entire election year. I think still the use of the virus which is unfortunate because its a very serious thing, obviously, to still try to have an impact on the mood of the country. Remember, this election is in many ways not over yet and weve got the runoff in georgia and theres statements about politically about the nature of the economy and these blue states seem to be doing things strangely, blue cities like chicago and new york, that will continue to have an impact on that, but ultimately it really comes down to especially with thanksgiving, where were looking at a year when Peoples Mental Health certainly has also declined, the nature of how we feel about each other has declined because we have been separated, thanksgiving is a time to come together with your family and its going to be very interesting, separate from that, the legality of this. The idea that the government now is trying to control and telling you to control what youre doing in the privacy of your own home with your own family. Many people are questioning how will they enforce this and if they dont intend to enforce it, then why dont they just say use caution in the choices you make through the wintertime. Stuart do you think most people in america will respect this tenperson limit and the other restrictions on getting together for thanksgiving and then into the christmas and holiday period . Are we going to accept it . Will this country accept that kind of mandate . You know, i think most peo e people originally were going to be considering this because if youre having multiple generations in your home, you know that your grandparents are going to be especially elderly, maybe your parents are moving into being elderly and most americans think about these things anyway, especially even during the flu season. Then theres issues of travel. So we understand this. Theyre still treating us like infants but what is really bothering americans i think in every city no matter who you are, your complexion, your income, is the government and the police being now involved in the nature of your celebrating of an american holiday and what you do with your family. Its insulting. It does treat us as though we dont know what were doing. Americans again were going to and always are going to be thoughtful about what they do with their own families and i think that its almost like a conditioning that you need the government to tell you how to live your life because you dont know any better. Well, thats not acceptable across the board and i think the government is going to find out certainly, theyre going to find out in georgia and these kinds of attitudes and approaches alienate the American Population from the government and thats a problem. Stuart got it. Tammy, thanks for being here. Always appreciate it. See you again soon. Thank you. Stuart it is friday morning. Where are we going on this market . I see plenty of green out there. Up 200 for the dow, up 22 for the s p, 74 for the nasdaq. Plenty of green. Yes, its friday. Which means friday feedback. Be sure to stick around for that. Weve got some really good stuff for you today. And we will run it. Weve missed it the last two weeks because of other things happening. Not today. Friday feedback will be here. Now, we were warned on how a biden presidency would tackle Americas Energy independence. Watch this. A transition from the oil industry, yes. Its a big statement why would you do that . Because the oil industry pollutes significantly. Stuart so having said that, is our Energy Dominance and independence out the window with president elect biden . Were on it. Well cover it. We made usaa insurance for members like martin. An air force veteran made of doing whats right, not whats easy. So when a hailstorm hit, usaa reached out before he could even inspect the damage. Thats how you do it right. Usaa insurance is made just the way martins family needs it with hasslefree claims, he got paid before his neighbor even got started. Because doing right by our members, thats whats right. Usaa. What youre made of, were made for. Usaa stuart futures show some green, up 200 for the dow, maybe, at the opening bell which is coming up in about 14 minutes. Now this. The Biden Transition Team is stacked, we are told, with big tech players. Susan think of amazons director of International Tax planning, Amazon Web Services enterprise strategist and airbnb strategist, also linkedin senior director of policy. These are all the names in a new state and Treasury Department under president elect biden. Not huge names or csuite executives. We know big tech will still be under the microscope in a biden white house. You have heard biden say he wants to repeal section 230 which shields social Media Companies from liability for what their users post and its interesting that amazons tax planning head is part of the state department because we know biden wants to impose a socalled amazon tax making sure the 70 plus companies, big u. S. Companies that havent paid any federal corporate taxes in the past, pay at least a minimum of 15 , right . But also remember that Vice President Kamala Harris comes from silicon valley. She has ties to big tech. She knows them very well. I wouldnt necessarily say that big tech is shielded from any regulation, but will they have something more friendly policy towards them . I think thats still to be decided. Stuart but it looks like that, doesnt it . If youve got all your big tech people on your Transition Team, it looks like youre going to take care of big tech to some degree when youve got the power to make wisome changes. Susan i think big tech is relieved there will be a divided government. Theres an alternative minimum tax for the big Tech Industry that paid zero taxes in the past two years, right . Stuart im looking at big tech this morning. With that announcement of those people being on his Transition Team, they are all up. Apple up again, amazon susan i think thats a continuation of the rally we have seen on vaccine hopes. Stuart the announcement that some Transition Team members will be big tech people doesnt necessarily move the stock up or down. Susan i want to see a big gain, though. This is not exactly csuite executives we are talking about. Stuart it was that eric schmidt, top guy who handled obamas reelection and his first election. Hes right in there susan hes no longer daytoday at google. Still a big name. Stuart he was the big name for obama. Thats for sure. All right. We are up 207, dow futures. Now this. Look, how about the price of oil. 40 bucks a barrel as we speak. Lets bring in the worlds authority on oil. That would be Daniel Yergen who joins us right now. Daniel, will the Biden Administration end Americas Energy independence and Americas Energy dominance . I dont think so yet. I think theres a battle thats going to go on within the new administration about what to do. I think it has a lot of momentum still to it and a lot of the control over what happens to oil is actually at the state level. I think the big question actually is what you were kind of hinting at before, what happens to the price and whether the price is high enough to encourage the continuing scale of investment thats needed. Stuart what do you thinks going to happen to the price . I think that the price is stuck right now, we might call it virus alley. Its boxed in. There are some positive signs, very interesting that we are seeing oil demand in both india and china, which are the two big growth markets, actually up compared to where they were last year, and of course, theres a vaccine hope but then reality sets in that the vaccine is not tomorrow. The downside, stuart, is what you see in europe with the resurgent virus and in the United States, and i was just looking this morning, we surveyed 15,000 gasoline stations every week and gasoline demand has gone down and its particularly gone down in the parts of the u. S. That have been hardest hit by the virus. So i think while the virus is still going to continue to sit on the oil price until we get to that world called the vaccine. Stuart im looking at gasoline average price for regular in america now is 2. 13 a gallon. Thats a very depressed price. How much did demand come down for gasoline in the United States . It came down if we went back a few weeks ago when things looked better, it was down about 15 compared to last year. Now its down about 20 , particularly in the upper midwest, that area thats been particularly hard hit and in the southwest, in texas. Stuart im listening carefully to what youre saying and it sounds to me like were not going to get back to 60 or even 70 a barrel oil for a long time. Would you agree . I think, you know, the hypothesis, the bet i would make right now is that we are really, the middle of next year is when we would start to see Real Recovery from this, when a lot of people have been vaccinated and the vaccines dont, you know, there are competitive vaccines out there. I think until then, we will live in this virus world and that sits on the economy and uncertainty sits on the oil price. Stuart why should i buy an electric car when gasoline is 2 a gallon . That has been a recurrent problem. When gasoline is cheap, why buy it. I think that you still have to see the cost of batteries to come down and to really make it competitive, and theres a lot of debate about how fast that will come down and how quickly it will happen. But you know, i think if you look out to 2050, there will be a lot of electric cars, 2040, but last year, total sales is 2 in the world and thats still a pretty small number. Stuart oil is still a very important commodity, is it not . It is indeed still the single most important lifeblood of the world economy. You dont move ships, you dont move airplanes, you dont move cars. All of that depends upon this central commodity and i think by 2022, we will be back to the demand level that we had in 2019. Stuart 2022. Thats a long way away. Daniel, thanks for joining us. See you again not that far, stuart. Stuart to me its a long way away. But there you go. After 2020, its a very long way away. Middle 2021. Stuart see you again soon. Thank you. Thank you. Byebye. Stuart youre looking at how the markets going to open this friday morning. We will open up. Not a huge rally but its a rally. Humana, a more human way to healthcare. Ive been very bullish and i think that were coming off the september lows, i think the equity markets can make new highs as we slide into the holidays. Stuart all right. That was market guy gregg smith on this program exactly a month ago and hes back with us right now. Okay, gregg, you were right but right now, everybody is bullish. Everybody says that stock prices are going up in december and next year. Nobody is telling me to sell. Where do you think prices are going, december and next year . Hey, happy friday the 13th, stuart. So yeah, it was a month ago today i shared with you i thought the equity markets would make new highs, not to fear the election, and we see new highs as we slide into year end. I continue to think there will be a santa claus rally here and i want to say i think we saw two distinct holidays this week, right . We all woke up monday morning to the Pfizer Vaccine news and it almost felt like victory in europe day, right . Something you or i didnt witness, it was a few years before you were born but people were celebrating and dancing in the streets. The market traded higher. But ve day very quickly turned into a black friday special for all things tech and certainly the stayathome trade. We saw a vicious rotation out of all things tech and pretty quickly all those names went on sale. I started buying those names, i think they were bargains. I think the selloff in things tech is overdone and i think we continue to resume that march higher. Stuart so we are going up from here . Big tech . Across the board were going up . I did lighten up on some other names, some other travel names. I did lighten up this week into the rally but i think tech goes higher. Look, ill tell you why. I consider myself an observational investor. Look at netflix. Just because a vaccine comes or covid goes away, are we going to stop sending Reed Hastings at netflix his 15 a month and stopping watching the Queens Gambit . I dont think so. I think netflix off a high of 575, there were decent bargains to be had. Stuart you were on the show back on october 7th i think, snap was back at about 26 then. Youve got a target price on snap of 67. Why do you like it so much . Look, i shared snapchat with you on october 7th. I think i got off the show and many of my friends and im sure my teenaged kids thought i was out of my mind. This company was left for dead two years ago. We saw the stock trading under five. I think evan and his team have done a great job of rightsizing the ship, getting this to being a real player and i think they have really earned themselves a seat at the big boy table. I think they are an established social Media Company and i think we can see it trade to 67 over the next 18 months. Its another arrow in the quiver of that social media quiver right alongside tiktok and instagram. Stuart 13th of november, gregg smith says its going to 67 within 18 months. Youll be back later. Gregg, thanks for joining us. The bell is ringing friday morning. We are off, were running, almost. Looks like we are going to open higher. Maybe 190, 200 on the dow. Here we go. We will find out immediately. We are up 205 points right from the start there. 7 . A solid gain. Ive got 27 of the dow 30 in the green. They are up. As for the s p 500, also on the upside to the tune of. 68 . Solid gain. The nasdaq composite, lets see how technologys doing today. Up. 75 . So youve got a similar gain all across the board. Weve got a couple stocks that are really surging this morning. Start with draftkings, up 8 . Good earnings, ashley . Ashley very good, yeah. Reporting better than expected results in the Third Quarter and also a big surge in the amount of people using their service. Of course, a big catalyst was the restart of major sports such as the nba, major league baseball, the nhl, also the start of the nfl season. Now, the Company Reported a 57 cent loss but that was better than expected. Revenue of 133 million also beat. Draft wi draftkings says the number of monthly unique players surpassed one million. Thats a 64 increase compared the a year ago. It has also been expanding its brand with high profile partnerships including with michael jordan, the new york giants and the chicago cubs. The company is also raising its guidance. Thats also giving it a big boost today. So far in 2020 this stock has gained close to 290 . Stuart wow. Just like that. Thats a chart and a half. Ive got to say. Now its up 8 as of this friday morning. All right. Next case, cisco. Show me, please. Way up, 5. 7 . Why . Susan cisco had a stronger record card and are predicting better days ahead after four straight quarters of sales declines. Remember 20 years ago, you could be the Largest Company on the planet, the apple of its day, worth about half a trillion dollars which was a lot back then. Stuart i had forgotten that. Susan yeah. Look, today, the Communications Equipment maker now struggling to stay relevant. But it will do better, they say, in the new year which is why the stock is rallying. You have four price target hikes this morning. Calling 49 for the stock, a few 45 calls. One bright spot for cisco, stimulus spending around the world is helping sales everywhere, not just the u. S. Thats a flashback, isnt it . Stuart that was a generation ago when John Chambers was running it back in those days. Susan it also shows you the leadership changes after a few decades. Stuart technology moves real fast. Look at ibm, et cetera. Susan thats going way back. Stuart then palantir, okay, they are up this morning. Susan it might be profit taking here with we did see declines in the premarket and the afterhours, after the stock had run up close to 50 since its public debut. They had a strong quarter, crushing estimates when it comes to profit and sales, even raising their Sales Guidance for this year. How many companies, though, are going to be able to use this Companys Services in the future because they signed up 15 more contracts from july to september and the concern from the Analyst Community is new customers. Usually they work with governments, right. They do work with airbus as private clients but they have 125 customers on the books but how many other people are going to sign up to use palantir . Thats a question mark out there. However, you do have predictions that the stock, 15 seems to be the average call, 18 is the street high. Stuart as we keep telling everyone, that is the company that helped find osama bin laden. Deep dive into their data bases. Susan data analysis. Stuart well done, palantir. Disney, we get to this, disney up 3. 3 . They got their earnings yesterday. They must have done quite well, lauren. Lauren well, lets do bad news first. It was the second straight quarterly loss and the reason was theme parks, 2. 4 billion hit there. Half of them are still closed. And operating income at their movie studios, their entertainment business, that fell 51 . Many theaters are also still closed. That explains it. The Silver Lining is streaming. Disney plus subscriptions, 73. 7 million, so much more than people anticipated. But heres one of the issues. Those subscribers are not paying much. After you do the bundling and promotions, its 4. 52 on average. So the question for investors, because the stock is up nicely today, is how much longer are they going to ignore the fact that disneys bread and butter, the parks and studios, are struggling. They keep talking about to lock down or not to lock down. Disney says its orlando theme park which is open, they are nearly full for thanksgiving and they are 77 booked for their current quarter. Imagine taking that away, what would happen to a company like disney and the stock. Stuart yeah. I imagine on the other side of the coin, supposing they were to open disneyland in california which they cant do because the california authorities wont let them. Think where they would be if disneyland had been allowed to open. Total difference there. Disney right now up 139 is your stock price. Two electric car makers. Nio and xping. Wait a minute. Hold on. Those are all i think chinese electric car makers. All of them are way up this morning. Why . Susan because we got huge numbers and a big report card from li auto today. Delivery soaring by a third from july to september and looks like they have doubled from the second quarter. This is acceleration. The stock itself has doubled since its public debut in july, up over 60 in two days. Look at li auto there. Thats helping the likes of nio and xpeng today. Nio up 1,000 plus so far in 2020. Now worth more than general motors. Thats a generational change right there. Xpeng reported tripling in its deliveries in its report card this week and this stock is still the king when it comes to china electric, delivering more cars than all three of its next big competitors combined. Remember, shanghai only opened at the start of this year, already forecast to deliver 150,000 cars in china this year and that is one reason that tesla has been so explosive, up 400 so far. Stuart but here in america, why should i buy an electric car when gasoline is 2 a gallon . Unless i wish to save the planet. Susan right. Also, in new york you have a better advantage than say the middle of the country where you actually have charging stations. Stuart theres that, too. Im still sticking with gasoline. Jetblue, important. This is important. They are going to stop blocking the middle seat. When they going to do that, ash . Ashley starting january 8th. They will begin selling all seats on board its flights, meaning no more blocked middle seats as of january 6th. The airline says the change of policy reflects the winter period when demand is lower and flights are often less full anyway. The Carrier Joins Southwest Airlines and announced it will begin selling all seats starting december 1st as demand over the holiday period begins to pick up. American ended its policy of blocking middle seats in july but it does give passengers advance warning if the flight is full. Dea delta says it plans to limit capacity on board until at least january 6th but will reevaluate it says closer to that date saying look, the extra space is nice for passengers but the airline cannot sustain it indefinitely. We should note Airline Travel is still just a third of what it was prior to the pandemic. Stuart but maybe its time to dabble your feet into some airline stocks. Maybe. You know . Im not asking for any comment here. Ive got all these people around me, nobody saying a word on this. The airlines are up today. I will leave it at that. Okay. Now this. President obama, he says that challenging Election Results delegitimizes democracy. Thats what he says. Kayleigh mcenany will respond to that next hour. Stuart a sea of green all over the place. 240 up for the dow and 98 up for the nasdaq. 28 up for the s p. We are off to a pretty good start this friday morning. Then theres this. Ubs has a very and i mean a very bold call on the virus. What are they saying . Susan theyre saying cases in the u. S. Could be near zero in six months. Dont forget, we just saw a recordbreaking daily surge of 150,000 daily cases here in the u. S. But ubs says in six months time, that number could be close to zero. Thats six months ahead of schedule because of hopes of a vaccine. Two of them from pfizer and moderna before years end. Approval, at least. Stuart they are making the assumption when the vaccines available, everybody is going to take this thing. Susan right. If theres two of them, there are more doses available, more people can get vaccinated and hopefully that brings down the number of cases sooner, right . But heres the one thing that ubs does caveat, by the way, in this bold prediction, is that theyre not expecting another trillion dollar stimulus package. They are only expecting 450 billion, whereas the market has already penciled in and priced in 1 trillion. Stuart the big news is zero new cases in the middle of 2021. Susan right. Which is bullish for the u. S. Economy. Stuart absolutely it is, yeah. Thats a bold call indeed. Good lord. I think we need an economist. Weve got one. Anthony chan is with us. Lets start with the stimulus. You say we need a stimulus. How big a stimulus do we need and when do we need it . Stuart, we need a stimulus, we need it now. How big . I would say somewhere between 500 billion to 1 trillion because we saw what happened in the Third Quarter. The economy surged but now as we are entering the fourth quarter, until we get that vaccine, we need that bridge. We have more than 21 Million People that are collecting some form of unemployment insurance. You look at the nonfarm payroll survey, we still have ten Million People that are without jobs compared to where we were and even if you look at the house hold survey, we are talking nine Million People are still unemployed, more than they were so we clearly need a little bit of a jump but the good news, this is not permanent and it may be our last one. Stuart okay. Now look, if we get a second lockdown or another series of dramatic restrictions on our individual lives, what does that do to the economy . And doesnt that make a big stimulus plan even more important . It does make a big stimulus plan even more important but as an economist because my ph. D. Is in economics, not in medicine, i would say that i would prefer not to have a lockdown. I would prefer that we somehow mitigate this situation, manage it a little bit better, but remember, as susan just said, we have 150,000 different new cases, we had 1,400 people dying every single day. Are we at that stage today . Probably not. But what happens if that doubles . The American Enterprise institute, a conservative thinktank, is arguing that by late january, we could have 300,000 new cases every day. That would mean about 3,000 people dying every day. Is that the time where we close it down, or do we wait until maybe its even higher, 5,000 people dying . Again, i dont have to make that decision but at some point, someone has to make that decision. Stuart do we go into a recession if we have a fullblown lockdown of americas economy . The answer is no, if its a very short one. If its two, three or four weeks, and you offset it with stimulus, we dont. But if we go into a sixmonth, threemonth period, we could have a double dip. Thats why as an economist i would prefer not to close. I want the economy [ inaudible ] but again, people are dying so someone will have to make that decision. I just hope that we can actually mitigate it through various methods so we dont have to close down and not that many people die. But more people are dying every single day. Stuart all right. Point taken, anthony. We will see you again real soon. Thank you very much indeed. Now then, lets suppose that you could add up the value of every stock market in the world. How much is every stock on every market worth, if you add it all up . Susan has been doing the math and shes got a big number. Susan taken awhile. 95 trillion. That is a huge number. U. S. Equities has led the comeback so far this year. Two main factors here, Central Bank Money and also stimulus. Couple take wihat with vaccine. Wall street is getting really excited for next year. This week you had some bold, bullish predictions. Goldman sachs predicting 4300 by the end of next year for the s p 500, up close to 20 , call it. Jpmorgan, even more bullish for next year. They are calling for a broader index rally of 24 to 4500 teat the end of 2021. Doesnt that sound great . Stuart i love it. Susan of course thats predicated on vaccine approval, lower corporate taxes and lower regulation, hopefully and yes, it looks like with a divided u. S. Government. Goldman is also predicting a huge, vshaped bounceback in the u. S. Economy. Highest on the street, gdp will hit 5. 3 next year compared to the tenyear average below 3 . I think thats huge. Stuart i take it that americas market exchanges are the most valuable in the world. Susan by a lot. Stuart big chunk of the 95 trillion . Susan i dont have the specific proportion but you can imagine it is the largest stock market in the world. So yeah. Bond markets are doing well, too. You didnt do the vshape like you always do. Stuart the hand action, the vshape . All right. President elect bidens new chief of staff expected to be a key figure in the virus response. Here is ron klain in january telling us that trumps ban on travel from china was a bad deal. Watch this. Would you ban chinese travelers from arriving in the United States . I wouldnt. I think thats premature. I think its very important exchange, very important for trade and tourism. Stuart thats interesting. Thats ron klain. Hes the new chief of staff to president elect biden. Thats what he had to say about what President Trump did in january. Didnt like it. We will have more on this throughout the show. Many democrat leaders want you to cancel your thanksgiving. Chicagos mayor Lori Lightfoot tried to kill your thanksgiving right after she appeared maskless in a huge crowd. Im going to give you my take on that at the top of the 11 00 hour. Dont worry, julie. The stock is down 24 . It just so happens that georgearrison is the ceo of that company and hes with us right now. George, youve got a strong earnings report, strong profit, strong growth, and i think you have revolutionized the online used car market, but your stocks down 24 . What happened . Well, we did have an awesome quarter. We had record volume and revenue and we hit guidance exactly right and we actually raised guidance for this quarter, q4, and given how much demand were seeing. Its a really awesome time to be in cars. Stuart are the dealerships, the bricks and mortar dealerships, i understand they are buying used cars. Are they now your competition . Everyone always asks me who is your main competitor. Honestly, the traditional way of doing things, buying a car on your own on craigslist or from a dealer is the competition. The Online Market here is really small right now, less than 1 of the total ecosystem but growing really really quickly, so [ inaudible ] as we scale the business. Stuart is it possible that when this pandemic is over, when its over, we will go back to buying cars, used cars, from a lot or from the dealerships . Youre looking at a less rosy future. Is that possible . I dont think so. I think when people change their behavior, it changes for good and this is just such a better way to buy, whether its cars or other things. Ecommerce is so much easier. As people get used to that, they want to try to take advantage of it. Our peers have really high mps as well because people love to buy online. As more people learn they can do that online, we will see a ton of growth in years to come, im pretty confident. Stuart okay. Well see what happens. George, thanks for being with us this morning. Sorry about your stock but we wish you well in the future. See you again soon. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. Stuart sure thing. Still ahead, heres what we have. Kayleigh mcenany, elizabeth macdonald, steve hilton and lawrence jones. Wild thing, you make my heart sing wild thing i. Think i. You know what i think . I think you owe us 48. 50. Wild thing. Stuart friday on my mind by the easy beat, never heard that before but what friday is no definitely not on my mind, its friday the 13th, who cares, big show still to come, Kayleigh Mcenany, former governor of new york state and steve hilton of california guy. Just to name a few, big show coming up. Lets get straight to your money, the markets are rallying as we speak, the dow is up to 45, nasdaq up 44 and s p at 27. Show me disney and cisco, they are both dow stocks, both up nicely, the two of them together are contributed 35 points to the dow. Disney up 2 and cisco up 6 . Show me the vaccine makers, there is a reason for this. Earlier today we heard from secretary azide who said we do not need more lockdowns. That affects the vaccine makers and a lot else, more on that in a moment. First i got this, Consumer Sentiment we have the new reading. Susan dipping in the month of november, this is a forward read, this is very good we are at 77 but below what they forecasted at 82 in less than october. I think its because of rising coping cases and in certainty heading into the election causing a dip that were seen with a multimonth high compared to during the covid lockdown time. Stuart were still at a relatively high number. Susan i would say better than march and april. Stuart still strong. Susan february was 100 so im saying is better than the height of the covid lockdown. Stuart its had no impact on the market whatsoever, we were up to 50 on the dow before we got the news and were up to 51 right now, i would say no impact and now this. Ten days after the election and only now is Speaker Pelosis failure becoming apparent. In the house the democrats lost seven seats, they had expected to flip a dozen, worse they lost a suburban seat in Southern California and failed to make to the suburban vote in texas, indiana and missouri. Speaker closely will end up with the smallest majority since world war ii, that is failure. It led to serious bloodletting and hasnt stopped yet, everyone saw the speaker showing off her subzero freezers and highend ice cream just as the pandemic hit back in april. Liberal groups have seized on that calling it an unforced error. The socialist wing of her party claims she bungled the election, the moderates who support to lucy blame the socialist. There at each others throats it is a majorleague fight. The socialist, aoc staring down senator joe manchin, the republicans are very happy, House Majority leader mccarthy points out the gop did not lose a single income net and they have 40 new freshmen including many new women. Carrying this to georgia and the crucial race for those two senate seats. The republicans are highlighting the powerful socialist wing of Speaker Pelosis party neatly turning opposition to her into opposition to democrats in georgia. And there carrying it to the election in 2022. I know it is early to talk about the next election cycle but you cant bet or you can bet the gop will remind voters every single day that the democrats are split in america really doesnt like socialism. It is fascinating isnt it, the republicans claim to working people, rural people in an increasing number of minority voters while the democrats are chronically split between socialist in the increasingly uncomfortable coastal elites. Not a great legacy for Speaker Pelosi. Second hour of Varney Company about to begin. If looks could kill, if this is the photo alexandria ocasiocortez shared after senator mansion vowed to block the democrat socialist agenda. Liz peek back with us this morning, that picture summarizes the fighting with the democrat party, is a seven editorial i think that will be good news for republicans going into the georgia runoff elections. There is no question about it, joe biden may have won the presidency but he personally could lose the Georgia Senate races, for months he stayed hidden in his basement, basically covering up all the discord in the Democratic Party by refusing to take a stand on fracking, on the green new deal, packing the court, all those things. Now the rubber hits the road, the next several weeks he has to nominate. People to his cabinet, that is when all the fissures in the Democratic Party are going to become incredibly evident, Bernie Sanders is equity go over with georgia, i doubt it, Elizabeth Warren trying to be treasury secretary, the truth is democrats knew they needed a big turnout to win the president ial race, they got it but mainly by not alienating anyone in their party, that comes to an and in it already has begun. Stuart i just said Speaker Pelosi has suffered a colossal failure, maybe im going a little overboard with that but would you agree, she has failed in her mission to grow the majority for the democrats in the house and i think she faces a real challenge here about her continued leadership. I wrote several weeks ago i thought she would lose the speaker role, she has made so many wonders including impeachment, lets not forget by directing the impeachment of the president , putting adam schiff in charge of it which was nails on a blackboard to most americans and most recently by standing in the way of her relief bill, remember the blue dog democrats were pleading with nancy pelosi to give them something to take home to their constituents. They got nothing, she played politics with helping people who work in trouble in this country and i really think that was held against the house and i really think she deserves to lose her gavel. Stuart we will ended up that you really think she deserves to lose her gavel. I do. Stuart will see you again real soon. Thank you for having me. Stuart lets get back to the chicago situation, the mayor announcing a 30 day stay at home advisory. This comes days after as you can see, she was in a crowd mask list shouting into a bullhorn and celebrating the democrats win in the election, thats what she was doing and now she shutting down chicago, i want to bring in Jonathan Hoenig he is a market watcher but also a chicago guy. I want to step away from money, step away from the market for a second tell me about chicago how is the city doing . When you see this hypocrisy, a couple of days ago, the mayor out there with a big megaphone, celebrating bidens when or even a couple months ago the governor joining in all those rallies, a reminder of animal farm, some of these politicians are little more equal than the others but the new lockdown, you are right its an advisory but also a lot of mandates, for example only six nonhousehold members are allowed in their own house. No social events and over ten people indoor or outdoor i know you say take off my money hat but as a money guy these covid remedies for our economy could be much worse than covid itself, over 5000 businesses in chicago are closed, halffull not reopen what is a hundredyearold bowling ally that finally closed. What is frustrating, when they mandate the closures they cannot be created and come up with an idea and even individuals cannot decide at their own risk, older people for example self quarantined themselves, we have unemployment, 14 , double the national average, these lockdowns will make it worse. Stuart im going to leave it at that, thank you for that report on chicago. Next week will bring you back and get you back to the market but what is going on in americas big cities is really, really important, im pleased to have you on board. Next case we have secretary az azar, health and Human Services told Maria Bartiromo on this Network Early this morning, he said we do not need more lockdowns, lets bring in doctor marc siegel on this. Doctor you also spoke to the secretary azar and he told you when a vaccine would reach us all, what is the date . By the way i spoke to him on the radio this morning and he basically said hes very excited about the two candidates the Pfizer Vaccine and he said hes been working very directly with dod on the Pfizer Vaccine, pfizer is getting ready to distribute it emergency use authorization and within 24 hours the first batch would go out and hes excited about the Moderna Vaccine and yesterday they made a deal between hhs and the pharmacy change around the country so distribution on Moderna Vaccine could occur very quickly, he predicts that we will see one of these vaccines before the end of the year, we will see distribution useful with high risk of covid complications, healthcare workers, the front lines of people that needed the most are going to get it and it looks like its going to be before the end of the year and then to the spring the rest of the country gets it. Stuart by the spring, march and april, the rest of the country, all of us 200 million americans will have access to the vaccine by the spring of next year . Did he tell you that. He thinks hundreds of millions of doses will be available by the spring of next year, to everyone that we can convince to take it, large groups, distribution will be in place, we dont know what vaccine but it looks very optimistic for the Pfizer Vaccine and for the Moderna Vaccine as well as soon as the data comes in on the Moderna Vaccine which will be over the next week or two. They will be handled separately, pfizer needs cold storage moderna has to be less cold and thats why theyre working with the pharmacies on this. He describes in the partnership between health and Human Services and the department of defense, the military is helped enormously. Stuart were getting get the vaccine out there next spring for everybody. Im going to give it to you and your going to take it. Im giving into you. I dont know what to say, thank you for joining us we will see you again real soon. He will probably have a syringe in his hand. Susan can i job you instead. Stuart you do that enough already. President obama slamming mass Election Fraud. Watch this. It is one more step and delegitimizing, not just the incoming biden of administration but democracy generally. That is a dangerous path. Stuart Kayleigh Mcenany is coming up and she will be talking about precisely that later in the show, former Lieutenant Governor betsy mccoy fired up about Current Governor cuomo on her show yesterday, watch this. The state is being governed by a petty tyrant andrew cuomo who has simply shut things down. Stuart were going to ask the former governor of new york state George Pataki about that the petty tyrant, as we go out were watching a rainy new york city in a deserted sixth avenue in midtown manhattan. Stuart plenty of green if you are just joining the market has been during our, up 190 for theyre down, of 54 for the nasdaq, plenty of green, the mayor of portland removing gendered language so the town, the city can be more inclusive, spell it out, what is he up to. Lauren as you know portland is progressive so they are joining tulstulsa oklahoma by spiking gr references like she, himself, herself from their founding documents. This is what the mayor tweeted, he said council authorized the city auditor to remove feminine and masculine terms from the charter, this important step will help make our documents more inclusive of all gender identities, no more council men, it is council member. You get it. Portland is oklahoma, they allowed residents to mark the agenda is not specified a drivers license and permits. That was three years ago. Stuart if you dont want to specify male or female you could put an x on your drivers license, is that what theyre doing . Lauren yes in the state of oklahoma. Stuart now this. House democrats plan to make remote voting permanent, texas congressman mike burgess is with us. Congressman im not sure i like the sound of this, i can understand voting remotely in an emergency situation but making this a fulltime permanent thing, i cannot get into that, how about you. In the current situation, where that power was given over to the sgt of arms of the house position completely unelected positions and arguably administrative positions but now theyre talking about putting it into the basic house rules. Not a good idea and i dont know people realize this but 20 democrats can show up and pass anything that they want to pass, 218 votes is what takes the day in the house of representatives. One individual can carry the proxies of 20 other people so as you can do the math quickly, were neck would have to have many people to show up in the chamber to push whatever you want to push. Sometimes a bill is amended, sometimes things are changed on the floor and so that person is given up their proxy to someone, how did they make sure that their wishes or their districts wishes are adequately reflected in the proxy vote, it becomes an impossibility. This is a representative republic, this is not what were supposed to do, other people have to show up for work, we should to or dont run for the job. Stuart political policy is made by the interaction with people at the water cooler or passing each other in the car door or having a drink at night. It is personal conflict contact thats how you get through things. Let me move on ive a lot to cover, secretary azar are health and Human Services, on this network this morning he weighed in on new covid restrictions, he does not want a second lockdown. You do not need a lockdown, the data demonstrate the interventions that we need are simple, the demonstrated, their proven but theyre not forcing people to stay in their homes, shutting down our businesses, shutting down our schools. Stuart congressman im referring it to you because youre a doctor, youre a republican in texas in texas has a million cases of the virus, do you agree with secretary azar are, you dont want a second lockdown . I dont think it does any good and ultimately were getting some data that perhaps is more harmful for some situations but heres the deal, everyone understands the things that they can do to protect themselves, has not changed, theyre not dramatic, where mask that adequately covers your nose and your mouth when you go out, wash your hands more times than you think is necessary and do your best to stay 6 feet away from everybody else unless its absolutely necessary, utilizing the simple things i thank you so much better than a lockdown which prevents all commerce from happening, heres the other thing, you were just talking to my good friend doctor siegel, this vaccine is a game changer, i dont think people understand that dr. Fauci told us a briefing in congress at the end of january that it would be 18 months before a vaccine could be available if everything goes right if there is no complications. But here we are ten months later and surprise surprise i week after election day we have not one but two and two therapeutics, this is remarkable in the treatment of this disease i have never seen anything like it before and we ought to be rejoicing because of the availability of this vaccine which doctor siegel just alluded to maybe for high risk population at the end of the month or the end of the year for the rest of us mid spring. Stuart all forget about canceling thanksgiving. We appreciate your expertise pray thank you, sir. I have this report about elon musk taking for covid test and getting conflicting results. Susan to positive, two negatives after taking for test yesterday and elon musk took after he had symptoms of a typical cold but a response to the mixed results on his test he took to twitter a lockdown skeptic tweeted this he said something extremely bogus is going on i tested for covid four times, to test came back negative, to positive, same machine, same test, same nurse, rapid indigent test from bd, he is worth 100 billion, you can get as many tests as you want. Hes sticking to different test today, he is awaiting those results but he has said he has been disappointed in the reaction to covid and the lockdowns he said in this podcast recently, he said people die, that is a fact of life and hes disappointed in terms how much people are clamped down on the economy because of covid given the survival rate of 99 . But i should point out another news and tesla related news, do care about that, you dont care, i do. Stuart indymedia wants them to have them a factory in indonesia. Susan in the having a high level discussion because theyre coming to visit. I gotta tell you i am more troubled by a guy who has four testing one day, too positive, too negative, same test, same machine, same nurse, what the hell is going on. Susan thats what hes asking. Stuart i dont find them very reliable thoughts the results he is getting. Lets go back to this. Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot, she has imposed the stayathome advisory for the next 30 days, essentially she has canceled thanksgiving there. But here she is last week celebrating bidens when out in public. Watch this. This is a great day for our country, we get our democracy back. [cheering] stuart not everybody was wearing a mask and that was a large public celebration, that is okay apparently but its not okay to celebrate thanksgiving. Its pretty crazy isnt it, youll have my take on the top of the 11 00 oclock hour. President of goya foods, is he prepared for a second wave of stockpiling . I will ask him, he is on the show next. Com promo stuart the market, lots and lots and lots of green, now show me big tech, i think we have lots and lots of green, mostly, apple is down a fraction, facebook is down a fraction, amazon is up a fraction and also that is up a fraction, a mixed bag, flat to lower for big tech, thats what weve got but i want to see jetblue, they are going to stop blocking the middle seat come january and they get a raise or onboard capacity to 85 for the Holiday Season. Investors like that, the stock is a 4 , 14 a share. Are you expecting a lot of deliveries is Holiday Season, i bet you are, here is the news come americans lost billions in stolen packages, that is so far this year. Susan 5. 4 billion, 157 billion stolen up 35 and a half million americans the past year, porch pirate stealing packages off unattended front doors, lobby areas and probably crimean into the Holiday Shopping periods of two thirds being bought online, that is up 11 from last year according to one analysis, millennials are the most victimized, 2. 7 billion lost to porch theft, if you think about it, generationally theyre the ones abide more online than the baby bruners and gen x losing 1. 6 billion as well, these are the ages that usually buy online but i call them packages you probably call them parcels. Stuart he is a personal guy, and the package guy. Stuart now this, this is something i dont understand, will get ashley to explain it, walmart is adding popup centers for online holiday sales. Asha tried to imagine what this is all about, do i walk up to a walmart structure, a little popup structure like a brickandmortar structure, i asked them will you please order that stuff online for me . Is that how it works. Ashley no they will Call Security on you if you try to do that. Its preparing for the holiday rush of online orders, what walmart is doing is creating popup centers inside regional warehouses that are normally used two ship pallets of goods to walmart stores, these popups will handle fastmoving items up to 30 of the companys online holiday volume, not for the public it is a separate area set aside for the most popular items walmart says it will improve efficiency causing stores in ecommerce while reducing transportation costs, theres about 42 of the popup sites in the company said it will hire 20000 Seasonal Workers to help handle the holiday surge in online sales. By the way if you go to the United States Postal Service there is a whole segment there on parcels. Stuart does the United States Postal Service call them parcels or packages . Ashley there is a difference but they deliver both. Stuart weve got a three hour show, i think we need four hours, i think we do, theres so much stuff coming right at us. Actually ill let you off the hook on the parcel business. Insta cart, they are looking toward and ipo next year and they will have an enormous valuation, how much are we talking about. Susan 30 billion and that is tremendous uptick from last month when it was 17 billion, obviously instacart, you get your groceries delivered, storing and popularity. Goldman sachs to leave the ipo, that is expected next year, the plans were accelerated because california passed prop 22 that upholds the status of app delivery drivers as independent contractors. That is good for cooper and left but also doordash and instacart, the pandemic hasn has been so , they saw order volume up a 500 over last year. And by the way i call them boxes, not parcels, not packages, did my boxes come. Stuart you know all about boxing day i take it, that is another one will get into much later. Thank you. We are told we are going to stocstart stockpiling food becae of the pandemic wave coming at us. We are told half of us are going to start stockpiling. I think we need expert advice on this, who better than the president of goya, that will be bob who is back on this program. Are you prepared for a wave of stockpiling . Im told it started already like toilet paper paper towels, hasnt started for canned beans in your products . Yes it has started, i love you all but i hate to throw cold water on your show but the reports of our demise as a country are greatly exaggerated. Where the land of the free and the home of the brave, were losing our freedom, were losing our courage, goya would definitely benefit from the 15. 6 Million People out of work in the restaurant business. All of the shutdown of the economy, we continue to work, we are blessed to be able to work and to supply but there is no food crisis and to profit from fear of loading up our bunkers with food is not patriotic. We have to learn from history, this is not a repeat of march, we have a better treatment, the vaccine on the horizon, i had coded, i got better, while i was Getting Better i lost 50 pounds, United States has so much abundance that we are more obese and more diabetic than any other country in the world, we have to be healthy, we can be pessimistic. This idea of a long dark winter is nonsense. The fear mongering he said lets get the civil war on and we are in a civil war. But we cannot succumb to fear. The people that want to say were going to shut down, if we shut down this economy were going to kill the economy, kill our spirit, we have emotional problems, you need a reason to get up in the morning god, family and work, we cannot shut that down. Stuart bob i was not expecting that but that was fine on the state of the nation on where it should be. Im with you all the way. Bob you nano, i with you 100 . I became a citizen because of what this country offers, the freedom, the liberty to express yourself and be yourself. I am out of time but thank you very much for being with us this morning. Fubo tv, thank you a good man. We talk a lot about sports taking a hit on this program but golf is not taking a hit. Grady trimble is in chicago, is that Research Going on in the golf world . There is, is one of the sports that is perfect for social distancing even if your added indoor place like five iron golf with the simulators and they do club sales, let me show you the numbers for the Third Quarter, 1 billion in sales across the industry. That is a 42 compared to the same time last year, popular items include irons and wedges, tim is the general manager and you guys have benefited from this renewed interest in the sport that you complain by yourself. We sure have. Weve seen a lot of interest especially from beginners coming up to practice and purchase clubs. You had the regulars before the pandemic but the new people have come that say i need a new hobby basically. We seen a lot of that with girlfriends, wives, beginners across the way want to be a less intimidated practice and play and its great here. Is not just indoor facilities like this, golf rounds played compared to last year are up yeartodate, 9 almost. A popular time to play golf, i am not so good at golf so you will not see me swing because i dont want to embarrass myself. Stuart i understand and i will stick to be in a caddy, i think i know my place. Grady tribble, he is all right. Staying on golf, there was an unwelcome spectator at a golf course in florida. Ashley look at that, where is the caddy, no one there, the 17th tee at the golf course in naples under naples a 10foot gator and the Tropical Storm at come out for a agile stroll, looks like jurassic park, when you talk about a ten footer on the golf course is the length of your pot but in florida it is the length of the alligator. Truly remarkable, that is a beast. A lot of people thought this was photoshopped but the guy who took it who is an assistant pro at the golf course said that thing is real and enormous as everyone can see. It is fascinating to watch. Stuart did you know i bought a house in naples which is on a lake, not on the golf course but on a lake. Did you know that . Ashley dont get too close, thats my best advice. Good investment. Stuart i will stay clear of that gator. Thank you very much. Still to come on the great program, Kayleigh Mcenany i want to know what she makes a president obama saying his Election Fraud claims delegitimize democracy. Is President Trump delegitimizing the selection . We will talk about a moment from now. For over 30 years, lexus has been celebrating driveway moments. Heres to one more, the lexus december to remember sales event. Lease the 2021 nx 300 for 349 a month for 36 months and well make your first months payment. Experience amazing at your lexus dealer. And its made by kohler americas leading plumbing brand. We need this bath. Yes. Yes you do. A kohler walkinbath provides independence with peace of mind. It is one more step in delegitimizing, not just the incoming Biden Administration but democracy generally. That is a dangerous path. Stuart President Trump delegitimizing the selection, is he . The lady on the righthand screen is Kayleigh Mcenany, trump 2020 Senior Advisor and ideally ceded to answer the question. Is President Trump delegitimizing democracy question. What this president is doing is fighting for the forgotten men and women. For years we have had issues in places like detroit, philadelphia with republican poll watchers and we have affidavits, hundreds and hundreds of pages of this poll watchers say that i was locked out of the system, i was pushed out in some cases, racially disparaged with barging language, a young woman called the c word, bullied, you have a right and many of the states michigan, pennsylvania have a poll watcher to observe the count and the fact that in Pennsylvania Republican poll watchers were 100 yards away and some cases from observing the process and the counting of tons and tons of ballots is a problem, 627,000 to be precise. Stuart is that fraud, if you have your republican poll watchers a long ways away cannot see it, is it fraud . The roth access that we were given in a place like michigan, the roth access exposed quite a bit of allegation of fraud, instances of ballots, stack of 50 run multiple times through the system, 30 cannot be matched to a name nevertheless counted, they could not find a record in the poll book of a record name, there were many ballots that were logged with the birth date january 1, 1900 making that voter 120 years old, there are real claims of fraud but also most significantly equal protection claims in a place like pennsylvania where if you are one of the seven blue counties you were contacted in advance if your ballot was defective and to go hear your ballot but if you were the other 60s mostly read you did not get the same advantage. Those of the systematic things that we are happening and fighting against. Stuart president elect biden has a 40000 vote lead in pennsylvania as i see it at this moment, 40000 vote lead, can you turn that around to create a trump went in pennsylvania . Stuart i think so, the filing we did yesterday, there were two parts, i mentioned to you that some people were allowed to cure their ballot and others not which is an equal protection claim, unconstitutional to do that and that would affect many ballots but the new element was this that the state Legislature Said you must have a signature, date and address on your ballot but we have evidence in fact many thousands of ballots were counted without those elements and blue counties specifically said were gonna count those ballots, there on the record, that would affect tens of thousands of ballots. Thats what were looking on fighting in court, we had a big win in pennsylvania i get the secretary of state and will see where we go from here. Stuart i am quoting from a news network that i saw this morning. Trump may accept results but never concede that he lost. Your response to that . The president is not at that point, he is pursuing this litigation and we also know about the counting machines that had a problem in at least one county were 6000 votes went to joe biden and switched over to trump that they were meant to do, the president is not even there hes fighting for the men and women of this movement who brought real questions and claims forward and is fighting for this in a way that i think no campaign has putting a light on some of these operations that have happened in blue cities and counties. Stuart are you prepared to say that the president will definitely attend the inauguration . Again that is many steps away, we are talking january and President Trump believes he will be President Trump, have a second term in litigation is the first step, many steps away from that. Stuart would look pretty bad if he did not attend the inauguration, it would look like sour grapes. I think the president will attend his own and duration, he would have to be there in fact. Stuart you really think you can turn this around. Absolutely, all were asking for is to lift the hood of the car, look in, see was going on and look at the operation, we have probable cause, we have evidence and all we are asking is to take a look, shed light on this, 89 of trump voters agree with that and i think democrats say nothing went on, why not, transparency is never about thing. Stuart there is nothing wrong with pursuing this, but at the end of the day you believe with all the legal votes are counted, you will have one, you believe that. Absolutely we believe that. That is what we are going to show the nation that we absolutely believe when every legal vote is counted, President Trump will win and watch the georgia recount closely, that is a full audit of the state votes. We will be watching that. Stuart Kayleigh Mcenany, we always appreciate a prethank you very much. As we keep telling you, the big show coming up, lawrence jones, former new york governor George Pataki, dear roy men rock, steve hilton, all of them coming up, my take on the left, wanted to cancel think giving and serious damage to our cities. Ask your parkinsons specialist about nuplazid. We need a stimulus. We need it now. Until we get that vaccine, we need that bridge. This vaccine is a game changer. I have never seen anything like it before. Cant give ammunition to the forces who would have us go back into the bunker. Thats the last thing we need as a country right now. The most important thing we can do right now is stay open. The countrys got to stay open. I know you say take off my money hat but as a money guy, these covid remedies, covid is dangerous but these covid remedies for the economy could be much worse than covid itself. They are still treating us like infants. I think its almost like a conditioning that you need the government to tell you how to live your life because you dont know any better. Well, thats not acceptable. Susan you know who Arianna Grande is, right . Stuart yeah, she sings break free. Its rather good. Are we clear . Susan yes. Stuart right. 11 01, to be precise, and the markets show a nice healthy patch of green. Dow is up 200. Nasdaqs up, let me see, 27. The s p up 23. You got a lot of green on the board and its friday the 13th. Got that. Now, how about big tech . We want to check that because its a mixed picture this morning. Mostly lower, surprisingly enough. Weve got apple down, amazon, facebook, microsoft i think is down as well. Big tech ever so slightly lower this morning except for google which is up a tiny fraction. Thats where we stand. 11 01 eastern time on a friday morning. Now this. A year ago, nobody had heard of covid19. In midnovember a year ago, we were buying the turkey and planning thanksgiving dinner. What are we doing this year . In many parts of the country, gatherings of more than ten people are banned and travel is difficult and its discouraged. Thanksgiving will not be the same and i sense a rising tide of resentment. In a moment, lefthand side of your screen, there she is, that is Lori Lightfoot, the mayor of chicago, shouting into a bullhorn surrounded by crowds of people, many of them not wearing a mask, celebrating the Election Results. Yet that mayor has just imposed a stayathome order, advisory, actually, for the next 30 days. So its okay to celebrate joe biden but not okay to hold a traditional thanksgiving dinner. We saw precisely the same thing with the demonstrations after the george floyd killing. Politicians joined the crowds. The virus spread. Okay to demonstrate, even though we were all advised to stay at home. This is an obvious double standard and its going to make people think twice about locking down for thanksgiving. And what about christmas and hanukkah . I suspect virus fatigue will be running Even Stronger come december. In short, we are about to see a challenge to the authorities lockdown policies. How many will do a thanksgiving dinner via zoom . How many will accept a Virtual Christmas Carol Service . How far will we let the authorities change our behavior during the Holiday Season . This is not collectivist europe. This is freedomloving america and 70 Million People voted for the open up president. The authority of the lockdown president elect will be tested. The third hour of Varney Company is about to begin. Stuart well, what does elizabeth macdonald, host of the evening edit think about this lockdown . I think its going to face resistance. What do you say . Liz yes, you know, we are tracking resistance around the world, not just here in the u. S. We are tracking dozens of protests in 26 countries on five different continents saying lockdowns dont work. So we have been here before. We went through a spring lockdown and 30 Million People were thrown out of work and now we are back here again. The virus is still with us. Listen, were not downplaying the severity of the virus. I personally know people who got really sick and went to high school with a person who died from the covid virus. A lot of people at the fdny are pulling people out of houses who are alone dying from the virus, putting them up, but when you hear the media calling this the Covid Christmas or covid thanksgiving, you know, this is like meet the cranks, right . Like americans have a lot of common sense and i listen to these politicians that you just pointed out, you know, finger wagging people when theryre no abiding by their own rules. You have to say to yourself are they waking up at 3 00 in the morning staring at the ceiling trying to cook up new ways to annoy people. So they wake up in the morning, how am i going to find new ways to annoy people, right . Stuart the thing is okay, you impose some kind of lockdown or severe restrictions, and that probably does slow down the rate of new cases and the rate at which it spreads in society. But as soon as you relax, the virus comes right back again. What are you supposed to do . Lock down again . Thats an impossible situation. You cant do this. Liz yeah. You cant do it. We know it hasnt worked in the past but now weve got politicians saying things like dont sing loudly in bars, dont talk loudly in restaurants. We have cnn anchors saying dont sing loudly at thanksgiving dinner table. You know, listen, families are smart out there. The message does need to get out to other parts of the country where you do need to be safe. You need to wear your mask, wash your hands and social distance. I think people are starting to really get the message. But what youre talking about is very important because its a constitutional issue. The federal government does not have authority to do a federal government nationwide lockdown. Thats unconstitutional. The governors are responsible for their states. But the question is are the governors and the politicians overseeing things like Contact Tracing which is devilishly hard to do in order to find the hot spots to then segregate whats going on there, right . So im just looking at this and im looking at, you know, these protests not just breaking out here in the u. S. But also as you point out collectivist countries are saying, people there are saying weve had it. It didnt work the first time when you told us to do it, stop telling us to do it again. People do need to be safe, you know . Stuart i got that. But it didnt work first time. Im not so sure it happens second time either. Liz, im going to be watching you on the evening edit. I believe that will be 6 00 p. M. Eastern later this afternoon. We will be watching. Thanks for being on the show this morning. Appreciate it. Liz sure. Thank you. Stuart president obama releasing excerpts from his new book called a promised land. He says President Trump was elected because quote, millions of americans were spooked by a black man in the white house. Lawrence jones is with us. Okay, you saw that quote. What do you make, whats your response of that quote from barack obama . Well, i cannot discount the former president s experience of what he may feel, but what i can say is that a lot of americans voted for him, they voted for him twice and right now, he is the most popular living president , so you know, although i cant discount his experience, im sure he experienced racism just like i have experienced in the past, but i do think there is this attempt to paint everyone that decided to vote for Something Different as racist. You know, i have been on the campaign trail and i spent time with biden supporters and those 70 million plus voters that decided to vote for donald trump, and some of them voted for president obama. Some of them still like him as a man. They just felt like his policies didnt go the hope and change didnt do too much for them so i think there is this intellectual laziness from the left to not try to figure out how they lost that segment of their voting demographic. Instead they decide to dilute it to just race and i dont think thats fair. Stuart do you think that young black folks feel comfortable, do they feel theyve got a place in this Republican Party, 2020 . I dont know if its in the party but i think they see themselves as having a place in america. You know, i think that the Republican Party, although they made some inroads in the black Community Just by virtue of donald trump being who he is as a businessman and us seeing the economic prosperity, i think the Republican Party still needs to do a better job in recruiting more black folks to be a part of their party. Its not about this big tent philosophy that they always preach but its about going on the local level, banging on doors saying look, what is it that we can offer you, and i think if they would stick to the economic agenda, then a lot of black folks would support it but that takes local involvement. You know, if im quite honest, black folks decided this election. When you break down the numbers, all those swing areas where you could have went the other direction for donald trump, if there had been more black support. This election would have been over. I think the Republican Party is going to be banging its head against the wall over that that fact. Stuart make Something Different next time around. Lawrence, my brother, thanks for being with us. Always, my brother. Always my brother. Stuart see you later. Good stuff. Better check that market again. Why not . Now youre up 230 for the dow and you know, weve got a very bold call on the virus. Very bold from ubs. What are they saying . Susan they are saying near zero covid cases in six months. Thats six months earlier than forecast. Yes, it is surprising, given the record surge that we have seen in daily covid cases, past 150,000 the past few days and the reason for ubs, vaccines. You get two approved before years end, thats more people vaccinated and the economy can reopen even faster, but ubs warns that that means a smaller stimulus package as well, only half a trillion dollars instead of the 2 trillion plus the democrats are still pushing. Now, vaccine hopes by the way is another reason the dow is on track for its second week of gains. A record 44. 5 billion went into u. S. Stock funds this week and thats why wall street is so excited for next year. Big calls from Goldman Sachs, jpmorgan, Goldman Sachs says we will get to 4300 by the end of next year, up 20 . Jpmorgan, even more bullish, possibly 4500. Thats a rally of nearly 25 . This is all of course contingent on getting divided government and vaccine approved before the end of this year. Stuart all those things are bullish. I got it. I got it. Across the board all those things are bullish. The most bullish thing of all is the call that there will be no new virus cases by the middle of next year in america . Thats about as bullish as you can get. No restrictions on activity, no lockdowns. Susan you can go back to normal. Stuart open up the economy. That is wildly bullish if they are right. Susan its nice to think, though. Nice thought. Stuart i love it to happen. I really would. Believe me. Next case, australia. Should i use my australian accent here . Deploying a new tool to monitor social distancing. Ash, ive got an ugly feeling this sounds like big brother looking at you. What is it . Ashley yeah. Crikey. It will be patrolled by drones this summer, making sure people follow social distancing rules. Its not going to be easy, though. It is expected to be one of the busiest summers down under on record for sydneys beaches and parks. Staycations and local beaches will be a popular destination. Now, the drones can transmit real information realtime including High Resolution pictures to keep beaches open and covidsafe. Also let the public know which crowded beaches to avoid via a website. Local police, heres the big brother part, will have access for enforcement. You know the drones already used to help surf rescues and keep an eye out for sea creatures. Yes, im talking about sharks, the ultimate social distancing enforcement. Stuart the ultimate social distancing enforcement. Thats a very good line, young man. Im stealing it. Im stealing it. Im taking that. Ashley all right, go ahead. Stuart thanks, ashley. Still to come this hour, steve hilton. I want to know as california hits one million virus cases, is that state about to shut down . Hes got a lot to say about this. First, though, remember what betsy mccoy said about the new virus restrictions in new york from Governor Cuomo . Watch this. The state is being governed by a petty tyrant, andrew cuomo, who at will simply shuts things down. Stuart well, that was strong stuff, wasnt it . We have the former new york governor George Pataki on the show ready to respond. Hes next as the third hour of varney continues. Already with an infection rate well below the national average, new yorks Unemployment Rate is nearly double the national average. The state is being governed by a petty tyrant, andrew cuomo, who at will simply shuts things down. Stuart thats Betsy Mccaughey not mincing words. George pataki, former governor of new york, is with us. Welcome to the program. I just want to know, if you were still in office, would you be locking down as Governor Cuomo is doing now . I would be doing almost Everything Different from the way Governor Cuomos doing it now. Starting first with a vaccine. I dont know if you covered the comment that he was not going to allow new yorkers to get the vaccine once its approved by the federal government and fiezfiez pfizer makes it available unless his own experts sign off. This is just cruel to think his experts who convinced him to put covidpositive patients in Nursing Homes will now decide if new yorkers can get the vaccine we have been desperate for for months and months. This is just one example of decisionmaking that is not based on science, its not based on whats in the Public Interest but it is just the immense power of one individual to arbitrarily make decisions. Stuart governor, we have got this new report and it shows about 13 of new york city workers are actually back in the office. 13. 1 . That is the lowest rate among all major u. S. Cities. How do you see new york city making a comeback while its still deserted and is going to stay deserted for a long time to come . Can this city come back . This city will come back. Its a question of how long it will take. If we continue to have the wrong policies both at the governors level and at the mayors level, its going to take a lot longer. New york is new york. One of the great attractions are all the restaurants. I just saw a statistic this morning, 88 of new york City Residents havent paid their full rent since the covid virus hit. Thats almost 9 out of 10 restaurants that cant pay their rent. So why go to the Office Building when theres no one else there and if you want to go out to lunch or dinner, you cant. Now if youre working late, you want to get a hamburger, thats fine, but we have an arbitrary curfew so if one person wants to get a hamburg er, the restauran gets shut down. These are arbitrary decisions not based on science. They are having a horrific economic impact. By the way, we are seeing a surge in cases, almost 5,000 new cases in new york yesterday. Stuart indeed. Governor, thank you very much for joining us this morning. Dont be a stranger. Love to have you back on the show at some point. Thank you, sir. Thank you. Stuart sure thing. All right. Still on new york and new york city. Manhattan, the rents are dropping. Fast. And young people are moving in. Kristina partsinevelos in manhattan for us now. First of all, how much have rents come down . Reporter they are actually less than 3,000. Which i know sounds like a lot but in a major metropolitan city, its a little bit better and it helps those younger lets say millenials finally step it up and ditch the roommates and get their own apartment. Why . Because you are seeing vacancy rates up and seeing prices drop. For the Third Quarter, stu, the median price was 2,990 for an apartment here. Thats almost 8 lower levels we havent seen since 2011. Reason being is theres a lot of affluent people here and they are mobile renters so they dont have to really come back if things arent going well. We are seeing vacatincies, rougy 16,000 apartments on the market for the month of october. We havent seen levels like that since its been 14 years, literally 14 years. Sp i spoke to one broker who told me in the past 24 hours, there were 500 apartments, less than 1800 and she said landlords are giving tons of concessions. Listen in. They are offering two and a half months free rent if its a lease thats minimum 12 months. They are also giving free gym membership, they are paying the broker fee, the landlords that wouldnt accept pets all of a sudden are welcoming pets. Reporter pets and all, its kind of working out for the younger people because its the smaller apartments that dropping dramatically in price. Studio apartment is now 21 lower when it comes to price and when you are talking about a one bedroom, its 19 . So everybodys talking about manhattan, when is it going to come back. The big question is, those that get the cheaper rents, can you afford it next year when the landlords jack up the price or when everybody finally comes back to the city and life slowly gets back to normal . Back to you. Stuart great hand gestures, kristina. Very good stuff. Reporter its friday. Yeah. Stuart youre ready to go. All right. Thanks. Good stuff. Susan did you finally ditch the roommate yet, stu . Stuart roommates . Susan thats the main reason millenials are ditching roommates because they can afford their rents in new york. Stuart i didnt catch that. I ditched roommates a half century ago. Okay. Now, weve got news on door dash. They deliver food. I believe they are going to go public. Susan, when might i, if i wished, be able to invest in door dash . Susan right. I can only tell you its before the end of this year. They didnt have a specific date in this filing. But look, door dash is looking to raise maybe 100 million or so, probably just a place holder. They are going to likely raise a few billion or so. Some financials released in this ipo filing which i think will be enticing for investors. This is something new for us to digest as well. Door dash says it tripled, their sales tripled in the first nine months of this year and they narrowed their losses, losing only 149 million in nine months. Thats three times less than 2019. Now, door dash was last valued at 16 billion in the private market. They are the largest food deliverer in the u. S. , nearly 50 market share. You would know that if you actually ever had food delivered to you. Stuart door dash has half the market in america for food delivery . Susan 49 . But its a costly endeavor. Because you are pretty much subsidizing each and every delivery because you need to gain market share. Now, door dash is one of the high profile unicorns, we know that are rushing to get to market before the end of this year. Airbnb expected to file their ipo sometime next week. Also roadblock [ inaudible ] said to be the biggest year for ipos since the dotcom bubble. Stuart thank you, susan. If you are a fan of the bachelor and a lot of people are, listen up. This could be your chance to grab a date at the bachelor mansion. No rose ceremony necessary. I will tell you that now. We will tell you all about this. And the mayor, going back to this, cant resist, the mayor of chicago says the virus makes it too dangerous to hold thanksgiving parties this year. But why was it safe for her to celebrate joe bidens election win last week in a crowd without a mask . Yeah, we are back to discussing that because its worthwhile. This is decision tech. Now, lets take a look a humanas Medicare Advantage plans. With a humana medicare plan, hospital stays, Doctor Office visits, and medicare deductibles are covered. And, of course, most humana Medicare Advantage plans include Prescription Drug coverage. Humana a more human way to healthcare. Stay home unless you have to go out for essential reasons. Do not have guests over. Avoid unnecessary travel. You must cancel the normal thanksgiving plans, particularly if they include guests that do not live in your immediate household. Stuart that was the mayor of chicago, Lori Lightfoot, telling her city people to cancel thanksgiving. Now, that comes just days after what youre seeing on the lefthand side of your screen. The mayor appeared in front of massive crowds without a mask celebrating publicly joe bidens election win. Deroy murdoch is with us, fox news contributor. Look, you cant have politicians saying one thing and doing another. Lori lightfoot has made a habit of this. She went out for a hair appointment in the middle of the pandemic. Shes done all kinds of things. Doing one thing and saying another. This kind of hypocrisy is not working in america any longer, i dont think. Stuart, im not sure it works but it sure happens all the time. We have seen this over and over and over again. We saw it during the george floyd riots. Even had the mayor deblasio basically saying he wanted people to stay in, stay inside, wear your masks, et cetera but if you want to celebrate this historic moment, then go outside and celebrate this historic moment by going out into crowds and screaming, yelling about George Floyds death. This is again total hypocrisy. You saw after the biden being co coronated as president elect of the United States despite the fact hand recounts are going on or soon will. The media said biden was president elect and you saw democrats run into the streets, scream, yell, empty their lungs out into each others faces. This is called a superspreader event and apparently thats okay but if you are protrump you are supposed to stay home and keep to yourself. Stuart surely this kind of hypocrisy is going to make regular americans challenge the authority when they tell us what to do at thanksgiving. I think theres going to be a large number of americans who say no, excuse me, you did that, im doing this. I think theres going to be a real challenge to authority this Holiday Season. What say you . I think youre right. Look, it would be one thing if she and others stayed home and put out press releases congratulating biden, whathave you. When she goes outside and does this sort of thing, you saw this all around the country, it makes them very hard to turn around and yell orders at us. Something else thats going on in new york, this is the first night where restaurants will close at 10 00. I dont understand what that accomplishes. I dont think the covid19 germs wear watches. If they have a study that shows as of 10 59 the virus becomes more aggressive, fine. Until i see such a study i dont see the point of telling bars and restaurants that are struggling you have to deal with one or two hours less of business like my favorite bar here in the east village. They close at 1 00. They now close at midnight. They will lose two hours of business now and are doing social distancing. They have a capacity of about 150 inside. They are only allowed 37 people indoors. They are doing the right thing and mcsoreleys and other bars and restaurants here in new york are going to suffer again based on i dont think any actual science. Stuart you think how do you think it will take for new york city to come back . Im not suggesting it comes back the way it was in january of this year, or february of this year. How long before it makes a real comeback and its economy is really going strong again . Are we talking many years . I dont think its a matter of years. I think its a matter of months. Again, not to where it was when we were all thriving and having a wonderful time as late as march 1st of this year. But i think it really depends on the vaccine. The sooner we can get a vaccine out there or vaccines plural, and available, President Trump started operation warp speed, we are getting vaccines phase 3 trials ready to be released at record speed, we need to get needles in arms as quickly as we can. Once that happens, we gain confidence, will gain Greater Health and people will shop and go to theaters and movies and go about our lives again without having to worry about getting sick and getting others sick. Lets get the vaccines out there as soon as humanly possible in as big numbers as we can. Stuart hes an optimist. He thinks we come back in new york in months. I hope youre right. I love the city like you do. Its a great city. I would love to see it come back but im a little skeptical about coming back in months. Hope youre right, though. Thank you for being with us. Its friday the 13th, im optimistic. Stuart see you soon. Thanks very much. All right, everyone. Joe biden has promised to revoke the permit for the keystone xl pipeline. Jackie deangelis has the story. Seems to me that that would kill the pipeline. Reporter good morning. Well, remember when thencandidate joe biden was on the debate stage and he said quote, i would transition from the oil industry, yes. So there is a lot of speculation out there on what hes going to do. One of the first things he could do is reverse the executive order from President Trump that allowed for the keystone xl. This is a 1200 mile pipeline. It represents countless numbers of jobs. It would move oil between canada and the gulf coast and its extremely important for the industry. Think all the way back to january 2017 because President Trump, one of the first things he did through executive order was start to push the Infrastructure Projects forward and make the regulations a little bit easier to help the oil industry, and that included keystone and also the Dakota Access pipeline. Joe biden has an issue here, though, because democrats really rely on Union Support and there may be some unions that push back here, but you know, even if he transitions away from oil over time, hes going to have to sort of get the ball rolling and this could be one way that he does it. I will say this, stuart. No keystone, no Dakota Access, that means the u. S. , the Worlds Largest oil producer, may see lower capacity and production. That may mean we go back to relying on foreign oil and that means higher input costs for companies, higher prices for consumers, and yes, more pain at the pump and some people say that is equivalent to a tax. Stuart okay. That spells it out. Jackie, thank you very much indeed. Pretty dramatic stuff right there. Thank you. All right. Show me disney, please. The stock is up nearly 2 . Theyve got 73 million subscribers for disney plus, just one year to the day after starting it. However, they are hemorrhaging cash at the theme parks. Weve got more on that in a moment. California now has a million cases of the virus. Are they about to do a lockdown . We will ask steve hilton, next. vo im a verizon engineer and today, were turning on 5g across the country. With the coverage of 5g nationwide. And, in more and more cities, the unprecedented performance of ultra wideband. The fastest 5g in the world. It will change your phone and how businesses do everything. Im proud, because we didnt build it the easy way, we built it right. This is the 5g americas been waiting for. Only from verizon. But when i started seeing things, i didnt know what was happening. So i kept it in. He started believing things that werent true. I knew something was wrong. But i didnt say a word. During the course of their disease around 50 of people with parkinsons may experience hallucinations or delusions. But now, doctors are prescribing nuplazid. The only fda approved medicine. Proven to significantly reduce hallucinations and delusions related to parkinsons. Dont take nuplazid if you are allergic to its ingredients. Nuplazid can increase the risk of death in elderly people with dementiarelated psychosis and is not for treating symptoms unrelated to parkinsons disease. Nuplazid can cause changes in heart rhythm and should not be taken if you have certain abnormal heart rhythms or take other drugs that are known to cause changes in heart rhythm. Tell your doctor about any changes in medicines youre taking. The most common side effects are swelling of the arms and legs and confusion. We spoke up and it made all the difference. Ask your parkinsons specialist about nuplazid. Stuart Speaker Pelosi just wrapped up her Weekly Press Conference on capitol hill. Can you give me a head line . Susan she says a smaller democratic majority in the house because she is set to lose around five to ten seats, does not mean more compromise with republicans since the president will be a democrat. So im extrapolating in terms of what that means for stimulus and i think it will probably be a smaller stimulus package, maybe not 2. 5 trillion but i think its more likely you will get one in the new year, in january. Stuart okay. So you are figuring out from what she said, more likely to get a stimulus package, but probably smaller. Susan smaller. Yes. Thats what im extrapolating. Stuart shes got a much smaller majority in the house of representatives. That limits her bargaining power, of course. Susan i would think so. Stuart okay. We heard that and its not hurt the market. We are up 260, 270 as we speak. Maybe youre right on extrapolating out what shes really saying. Susan im always right. Hello. Thats what i think. Stuart okay. Weve got 18 minutes left in this show. Think you can hang on . California now has over a million virus cases. San franciscos already rolling back the reopening of that city. Steve hilton is with us. Hes our california guy. I want you to speculate about another lockdown. Is another lockdown coming to california . Statewide . Yes, because thats what they want. They want the control, they love trying to micromanage everyone, and theyre doing it county by county. Theyve got this ridiculous tiered colorcoded system which nobody can understand. Whether you are purple or orange. And they are moving counties back down and its all these details, whether its 50 for restaurants or 25, no one knows. No one understands. What they do understand is that the governor loves being in control and wants to micromanage everyone. You hear these numbers about the cases increasing, these big numbers are thrown out. 28 increase in hospitalizations. Remember this was all about the flattening of the curve to stop the hospitals becoming overwhelmed. I looked at the actual numbers this week. The latest numbers from the governor. These huge rises we are hearing about, as of the latest numbers, 4 , 4 of the states Hospital Capacity is taken up with coronavirus cases and its 11 of the icus. Were not even close to overwhelming the system. But they are itching to get that control back. One positive development, stuart, i just want to let you know about, which is interesting. Within the last week, a very smart young republican legislator in the state assembly brought a lawsuit against gavin newsom on the grounds of separation of power, saying he had no authority through the emergency law that hes implemented to actually push these lockdowns. He won that case. Big news. The governor is now appealing but as that plays out, then actually all of this shutdown from gavin newsom could be ruled illegal and it will have to be done by the state legislature. It has to start all over again. Stuart that fits right into one of the themes of this program today, which is are we going to ced eshg see the authority of state governors challenged when they try to shut down thanksgiving and stop us celebrating a traditional american celebration in the way we want to. I can see a real challenge coming to the authorities when theyre trying to shut down thanksgiving. What say you . Exactly right, stuart. When theres no real argument for it. They dont present the data. They dont present the science. Everyone knows what the risks are. Everyone knows what this disease entails. Everyone can take personal responsibility. Ive long said if you give people responsibility, they will behave responsibly. If you treat them like children, then they get rebellious. Thats what were going to see. Stuart yes. This is america, thank heaven. Steve, we will be watching you on the next revolution on the Fox News Channel sunday night, 9 00 p. M. Eastern. Thanks for joining us this friday, steve. We appreciate it always. All right. Ive got some good news for fans of the bachelor. You can rent the malibu mansion where the show is filmed. Its on airbnb. 6,000 a night. So something a little special on a friday. Ashley, lauren, susan, do you want to stay there . Ashley, start with you. Dont put your head down, lad. Ashley i so couldnt care less about this story. I would rather run the alligator video again. I really would. Its far more interesting. Stuart im with you 100 . Susan, would you like to stay a night . Susan if it gets wiped down completely, maybe. But you know, look, i havent watched that much bachelor myself. Maybe one or two episodes because my girlfriends tell me its highly adktidictivaddictiv. Its a lot of drama. Stuart lauren, we have to hear from you about the bachelor pad. Lauren you cant invite any people to spend the night with you. No gatherings are allowed so if its just like myself and my immediate family, no thank you. Its too big. Too much running around. Sorry. Did we just kill this story . Stuart you did. You just killed it stone dead. I have two daughters who are avid fans of the bachelor who are probably watching now, screaming at the tv, its a great show. But theyre in their 20s. Susan its 200 years old and 6,000. Thats it . Stuart got to get to friday feedback which is next. Get me out of this, sports fans. Well be right back. Smooth driving pays off with allstate, the safer you drive the more you save you never been in better hands allstate click or call for a quote today doing a little exercise, love watching fox business. My wife and i watch this show every morning. We love the comments from ashley, lauren and susan. So god bless, god bless america. Stuart all right. That was viewer brian hanson to kick off todays friday feedback. Thank you, brian. All good stuff. Ashley, lauren, susan, come on into this one. First one comes to us from robert pike on instagram. He says you need to get rid of the hard break. Interrupt too many guests trying to make a point. Think outside the box for getting all your commercials in. Either that or stop being so greedy and showing so many commercials. Susan, thats for you. Susan given that television has been dependent on advertising spending for 80 years, thats been the model. Think outside the box . Maybe we can do shorter commercial breaks but we still need to get paid. Stuart oh, i like that. Well said. Very well indeed. Excellent. Move on to joe k, who says this. Hello, stuart and company. Who chooses your music during the show . And is stuart a big led zeppelin fan . I will answer that. No, im not a led zeppelin fan. Lauren, you first. Do you like the producers music choices . Lauren its been different lately and i have been wondering who is djing for the show. I like it on most days but i noticed a big change. Who is responsible for that . Does anybody know . Stuart yes. Im not going to say her name on the air. But its not susan. What do you think of the music . Susan i like the music. Its more catchy and modern. Unlike the beatles. Stuart all right, all right. Ashley, what do you say . Ashley i like it because theyre trying to play it to the stories were covering. I think thats always fun to do. Stuart they do a very good job of that, too. Okay . All right. A video question comes to us from dean. Play it. Ive noticed the Housing Market is booming and people are moving to florida, regardless of who wins the election. Ive also seen a lot of volatility in the market providing for opportunities for profitable swing trades on a weekly basis. My question for you is as a young professional trying to grow my wealth, which is the safer route . Stuart i will answer that one. As a young professional, a young person like you, i say the stock market is the right place to be. For an older person like myself, i would say its time to move some assets out of stocks which pose significant risk and into real estate which can actually live in in retirement. Susan you dont have the traditional Risk Appetite of a retirement aged individual, right . Who i think should be in safer assets with recurring income like treasuries where its all safe. No . Stuart i just dont like the return on treasuries. 01 is hardly a turnon for me. Susan its a sure thing. Stuart florida real estate. Thats the way to go for old folks of my pagage. A few weeks ago lauren responded to a question about what she reads. She says she has no time to read with the kids at home. The person who asked the original question has a followup. Here it is. Hi, lauren. Im sorry that i asked you what you were reading. My wife and i watched two of our grandchildren for five hours today and we were both exhausted. We also didnt get any reading done. Thats for you, lauren. Lauren i want to know if they can follow up, did they return to babysit in the near future, because yes, babysitting wipes grandparents and parents out. There is no time for anything else. Stuart wipes me out, too. All right. Yesterday we showed you a picture of ashleys dogs and we got a slew of pet pictures that came at us. We will screen through some of them and show some of your pets at home. They like watching the show. Isnt that cute . Susan your demographic. Stuart its a new demographic. Love to have them on. There you go. All right. All good. Ashley thats great. Stuart we are a canine show, obviously. Ive got a last one. Got to get this from. Its from peter. You tweeted us this picture with the caption, herding cattle and listening to Varney Company on satellite radio. Best morning show by far. Right out in the middle of the prairie, i guess thats where it is. Susan blue sky. Stuart big sky. Susan beautiful shot. Stuart isnt that great . Thanks to all of you who responded to us and keep on coming to us with this stuff. We love it. We will have more varney after this. Businesses today are looking to tomorrow. Adapting. Innovating. The virus is still very much an issue, how we deal with these cases has become the new parlor talk. Were on top of that as the president s receiving this operation warp speed vaccine briefing. Some words out of joe bidens camp, they would have a different way of handling operation warp speed, and it wouldnt be along the ways donald trump is doing it. The dow and the
