As we approach the end of May, normally an active time for lacrosse, the arenas remain quiet for a 2nd consecutive year. Last week, Major Series Lacrosse in conjunction with both the Western Lacrosse Association and Lacrosse Canada announced the 2021 season would not be staged and the National Championship for the Mann Cup was also being scratched. A day later, the Ontario Series made a similar statement cancelling the Senior season and also announcing there would be no Presidents Cup Championship Tournament again this year.
