MANILA -- A forecaster on Wednesday said many areas in the country will experience fair weather, with isolated rains caused by localized thunderstorms. "(The country) is currently experiencing monsoon break, which means slim chances of rains. This may last until next two days,"Grace Castaneda of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Davao Region, andCastaneda said PAGASA is monitoring this due to the possibility that a low pressure area (LPA) may form. Luzon will have fair weather, and it will be a bit warm at noon. Rains are likely in the afternoon or evening. "Our advise is to bring protection against sunlight and rains if your have outdoor activities," Castaneda said. Metro Manila and Tuguegarao's temperature will reach up to 34 C; Laoag's temperature up to 33 C. The Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will have generally fair weather, with chances of isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms. Up to 33 C is forecast in Zamboanga and Iloilo; while Cebu, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro and Davao's temperature is up to 32 C.
