ERWIN — A man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the driver's seat of a car that struck a house Monday morning in Erwin, a news release said. Harnett County Sheriff's deputies were called about 12:30 a.m. to the house at 4404 Beaver Dam Road in Erwin. When they arrived on the scene, they found Kenneth Dale Wilkins, 53, of Byrds Mill Road, dead in the driver's seat. Officer say Wilkins was apparently shot while inside of the vehicle.
