Dover Lifetime Learning offers course on ‘American Short Story’

            The Friends of the Dover Council on Aging with support of the Dover Council on Aging are sponsoring the following four-part Lifetime Learning series:
            The American Short Story 1960 - Present
            Mondays 1:30-3 p.m.
            March 1, 8, 15, 22. Cost: $35
            Classes conducted on Zoom: Instructions on how to join these meetings will be e-mailed to participants.
            This course will focus on reading and discussion of short stories by a selection of eight American authors including John Cheever, John Updike, Lorrie Moore, Jhumpa Lahiri, Mary Gordon, Elizabeth Strout, Junot Diaz and Chimananda Ngozi Adichie. Guided by the instructor, participants will devote classes to discussing two stories at each session.
