Exciting plans have been announced for events in Devizes this year. Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts's (DOCA) Street Festival will take place on August 30, with a focus on home-grown talent rather than international acts. Artistic Director Loz Samuels said :“We will take a new approach to Street Festival this year, we don’t know what the impact of Covid 19 will have on international travel and we also don’t know what additional costs would be incurred due to changes in the law that Brexit will create – it makes planning and budgeting much more complex so we are going to let things settle this year and look at international performance again in 2022.
