The figures were released on April 10 and covered the previous day's findings. They show that East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, which administers Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Hospitals and Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust both recorded no new deaths leaving the total number recorded at 1018 and 9 respectively. Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, which administers Chorley and South Ribble Hospital along with Royal Preston Hospital also reported no new deaths, leaving the total death recorded at 697. Further afield, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust followed suit with no new fatalities reported, with total deaths remaining at 763 and 555.
