After sorting through pet and delayed projects, Coldwater city staff has a wish list for this year on how to spend some of the city’s fund balance reserves.
After weeks of suggestions and informal voting individually by council members, city Manager Keith Baker presented the list at Monday night’s council meeting.
The top project favored by seven of the nine members was construction of bathrooms between Tibbits' parking lot and Monroe Street where the city bought and tore down a dilapidated law office.
Rough estimates are $150,000 for two unisex bathrooms and maintenance storage. Asked if it could be expanded, Baker said other city locations might be used if the need is there.
