Circuit court has two associate judge vacancies

EDWARDSVILLE — William Mudge, Chief Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit of Illinois, has given notice of two associate judge vacancies.
The vacancies exist because of the election of Associate Judge Stephen A. Stobbs to the circuit court and the resignation of Associate Judge John B. Julian, both which took effective Dec. 7.
Applications are being taken from any U.S. citizen who is an attorney licensed to practice law in Illinois and a resident of the Third Judicial Circuit of Madison and Bond counties.
The applicatiuon for appointment to the office of associate judge was revised Sept. 17, 2019, and only applications on the revised form will be accepted.
