The Centre for Leadership Performance's (CfLP) Bright Stars Secondary Enterprise Programme starts this week. Two year eight classes, at St Benedicts Catholic High School in Whitehaven, have been given £50 and are tasked with working with their business mentors to set up their own mini businesses and make a profit in six weeks. The Bright Stars 2021 programme, funded by the Cumbria Community Foundation, is getting charities to work with schools across Cumbria and teach pupils about 'making a difference' through business. CfLP Executive Director, Sarah Glass, said: "The Centre for Leadership Performance and its partners are committed to programme going ahead in 2021 to deliver valuable and positive experiences for the children.
