The owner is Armand VanderStigchel, a chef who has written books including "Wings Across America," "Adirondack Cookbook" and "Adirondack Cuisine." The latter was also a five-part series on PBS. VanderStigchel said he has consulted at restaurants in New York City, but this is his first involvement locally and first venture as a proprietor. He said he recently moved to Saratoga and has had a second home in Queensbury for 20 years.
