Susan Waring, 45, was trapped inside her first-floor flat in Redburn
A FUND-RAISER has been launched in a bid to erect a memorial for a murdered woman after she fled the country following a fire attack on her Bonhill home.
Susan Waring, 45, was trapped inside her first-floor flat in Redburn when it was set alight in 2017.
Critically ill, she spent nine days in a coma before she returned home to Lancashire to be closer to family.
However, in January 2019, the mum-of-five went missing.
She was last seen shopping with Alan Edwards in Darwen, Lancashire, on January 29.
Last month, Edwards was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of Ms Waring’s murder.
