Critically ill, she spent nine days in a coma before she returned home to Lancashire to be closer to family. However, in January 2019, the mum-of-five went missing. She was last seen shopping with Alan Edwards in Darwen, Lancashire, on January 29. Last month, Edwards was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of Ms Waring’s murder.
