Big Loud Management has named music and entertainment industry veteran Greg Thompson president and partner. Thompson (pictured) will oversee all Big Loud managers and assist with each of their respective artists, according to a release. He will work both in Los Angeles and from the company's Music Row office. Previously, Thompson served as president of Maverick Management/Live Nation in Beverly Hills, California. That entity manages U2, Madonna, Doja Cat and Brandy, among others. Prior to that, Thompson worked with Capitol Music Group/EMI, helping developing artists such as Katy Perry, Sam Smith and Coldplay. With more than 25 years of music executive experience, Thompson also has served at Island Def Jam, Elektra Records and Chrysalis Records.
