Have told rescuers that their boat was carrying 45 people, including three children when it set off from the tunisian port of sfax last thursday. They say the vessel, which was around 7 metres long overturned early on friday. The four survivors, originally from the ivory coast and guinea were initially rescued by a cargo ship before being transferred to a coastguard vessel. According to a recent report from the International Organization showing one of their vessels going to the aid packed with migrants in the Mediterranean on monday this week. But they also say that around 34,000 people have been rescued or intercepted by them. To give you a sense of the scale of the issue that we are talking about, the United Nations Refugee Agency says that this year alone so far 90,000 migrants have arrived in italy. Since the beginning ofjuly the tunisian authorities have started rotations to the desert against migrant people who are left with the choice to either die of heat answers in the desert or try to the Mediterranean sea. But we are drawing up with a light southerly wind, some much warmer air during the day ahead, which means that we are going to see temperatures into the 20s quite widely, which will, of course clear away any morning fog.
