News from the courts A 23-year-old has been sentenced to 80 hours of community service after admitting being drunk and disorderly at the Rovers Return. Zachary Thomas Hardy, of Central Promenade, Douglas, became aggressive with staff and paramedics after passing out in the pub. He told police later that he had been taking prescription medication before drinking. Prosecuting advocate Barry Swain told the court how Hardy became unconscious in the bar on November 30 at 8.45pm. Staff could not wake him and he began sliding onto the floor. An ambulance was called but prior to its arrival he awoke and became aggressive, behaving erratically and waving his arms around.
