Springfield Fire Commissioner Bernard Calvi said Martin Luther King Jr., Community Presbyterian Church was “unusable” because of the extensive damage after firefighters responded to the blaze around 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2020.
Local and federal law enforcement are investigating possible arson after a “highly suspicious” fire early Monday morning at a Black church in Massachusetts.
