Apple hacking India: Centre rubbishes Opposition's hacking claim, says compulsive critics want to distract Indian people

The Indian government dismissed opposition leaders' claims of receiving notifications on their Apple phones about a possible 'state-sponsored' hacking attack but announced a serious probe into the matter. IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav accused opposition leaders of indulging in "compulsive critique." Apple clarified that such advisories were sent to people in 150 countries and that these warnings rely on imperfect threat intelligence signals.
