STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The NYPD is investigating a crash Saturday on Emerson Hill that left two people in critical condition.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., emergency personnel received a call that two people were ejected from a vehicle at Milford Drive and Hewitt Avenue, the FDNY said.
Two women, ages 20 and 26, were taken to Staten Island University Hospital North, Ocean Breeze, in critical condition, police said. The women sustained facial trauma and are likely to survive, police said.
