Marblehead & Swampscott High School musicians join in "Shipping Up to the North Shore" Wicked Local North Shore high school band directors are a pretty tight-knit bunch and when one came up with a collaboration idea, nine others decided to pitch in. The 10 schools created a virtual ensemble video of the Drop Kick Murphy’s “I’m Shipping Up to Boston,” renamed “Shipping up to the North Shore.” Marblehead band director Kevin Goddu said it was during a summer Zoom call that Danvers High School band director Jeff Daniels came up with the idea. “I’m pretty new to Danvers High School; this is only my second year here,” Daniels said. “But I knew a few of the other band directors in the area, so I reached out to them and said, ‘let’s try to do a collaboration together.’”
