Aurora Police (APD) are looking for three vehicles that may have been involved in a man s shooting death earlier this month.
APD said they were called about a shooting that occurred at East 35th Avenue and Helena Street on April 4 at around 7:15 p.m. Officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim was declared brain dead on April 7, according to police.
The man s name has not yet been released by the Adams County coroner s office.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward with any information after a man was shot in Aurora Sunday night.

On January 5, 2021, after midnight, a Spokane Police officer was sent to an area hospital to investigate an assault after medical staff reported a female was seeking treatment for being hit in the head with an axe.
The officer contacted the female in the trauma room and saw the victim lying on a hospital bed soaked in blood. The victim’s blood-soaked coat was draped over a chair. The officer observed a laceration on the victim’s head that was bleeding continuously, one eye swollen and a large cut on her leg. The head and leg injury were a result of being struck by an axe. The swollen eye was a result of being repeatedly punched in the face. She was visibly shaken and experiencing a significant amount of pain.
