Healthcare workers who are eligible for the vaccine right now and plan on receiving it at a LADPH vaccination site must bring one of four documents proving their occupation. This could include a healthcare worker employee badge with photo, professional license and photo ID, signed letter from employer on facility letterhead and a photo ID, or a payment stub from a healthcare provider with your name and a photo ID.
In regards to future vaccine distribution plans at Henry Mayo, Moody says that officials plan to stay open for a minimum of six weeks with the possibility for extensions.
The vaccine clinic is located in the Henry Mayo Center at 23803 McBean Parkway and is open between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
California issuing waivers to bypass strict nurse-to-patient ratio rules amid COVID surge

Share: Facing a massive surge in coronavirus cases, California has been issuing waivers allowing hospitals to temporarily bypass the nation s only strict nurse-to-patient ratios.
About 250 of some 400 hospitals across the state have been granted 60-day waivers, which allows ICU nurses to care for three instead of two people at a time and emergency room nurses to oversee six patients instead of three.
California is the only state in the U.S. to require specific nurse-to-patient ratios. The waivers will only temporarily bypass that law but nurses say the change is already starting to affect care.

Black, a registered nurse at the telemetry cardiac unit of the Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia, just north of Los Angeles, barely has time to take a break or eat a meal. But what really worries her is not having enough time to spend with each of her patients.
