Trio of organisations team up to give support to elephant-themed art trail

A TRIO of organisations based at the former home of Royal Worcester have joined the sponsors supporting an elephant-themed arts trail. Royal Porcelain Works, The Museum of Royal Worcester and GoodRoots coffee shop, all neighbours at the historic Royal Porcelain Works site, have teamed up to sponsor a sculpture for Worcester’s Big Parade. Set to arrive in the city this July, the trail will see a herd of decorated elephant sculptures parading through the city’s streets for eight weeks. A Wild in Art event, the parade is being brought to Worcester by St Richard’s Hospice. Kathy Leather, general manager for Royal Porcelain Works, said: “Three years ago the giraffe trail was a resounding success and we loved our giraffe standing in pride of place in the Courtyard, right in front of our beautiful Henry Sandon Hall.
