TAYLOR,B.C. – The annual washing of the Taylor Bridge starts Monday.
According to Dawson Road Maintenance, the bridge will be down to single lane alternating traffic daily for the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Drivers crossing the bridge are asked to plan their trips around the times for minimal delay.

CALGARY – Inter Pipeline says it will receive $408 million in cash grants for its Heartland Petrochemical Complex under an incentive program by the current Alberta government but will have to give up $200 million in royalty credits granted by the previous government.
In a news release, the Calgary-based company says its $4-billion integrated propane dehydrogenation and polypropylene production facility being built northeast of Edmonton will be the first recipient of the grant announced in October by the United Conservative Party government.
The same project, designed to transform abundant Alberta propane into plastic beads to be exported to manufacturers, received $200 million in royalty credits in 2016 under the previous NDP government’s incentive program.

CHETWYND, B.C – A Northern Health system error resulted in residents getting double-booked for vaccination clinics starting Tuesday in Chetwynd.
Affected residents will be offered a new appointment the week of May 4th.
Northern Health says anyone who has not received a call to rebook and already has a confirmed appointment this week should still show up to the scheduled time.
“We apologize for the confusion and look forward to welcoming those looking to get their COVID-19 vaccine at our clinics over the next few weeks,” says Northern Health in a statement.
Chetwynd and Hudson’s Hope residents age 18 and over who have not booked an appointment yet, can call the NH Call Centre at 1-866-481-2175 (open 7 a.m to 7 p.m PST, seven days a week). The call centre is open this Easter weekend.
