FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Northern Strikers defender Samuel Hafner has committed to Grande Prairie Regional College, and he will suit up for the Wolves for the 2021-2022 season.
“Being chosen by GPRC is an honour and a privilege, and I am looking forward to getting started,” says Hafner in a release.
Hafner has enjoyed success at the club level in Fort St. John with the Northern Strikers. In 2018 he competed in the British Columbia Summer Games.
GPRC Head Coach Chris Morgan has kept his eye on Hafner for years, and he likes the on-field presence Hafner brings to the back end.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – A local couple asks for help after coming home from a grocery trip to their apartment on fire.
Shayna and Conrad Worth have set up a GoFundMe after losing all their possessions due to fire and smoke damage on Friday.
“We’ve never had anything like this happen to us, and we are at a loss. Anything donated would be greatly appreciated, and it will go a long way,” read the GoFundMe page.
There is currently just over $1,000 donated out of the $5,000 goal set.
