WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – Pennsylvania State Police have arrested Brian St. John, III, of Woodward Township, on charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another Person. State Police responded to a reported shooting at 330 Brewery Hollow Road at approximately 8:30 Friday evening. The victim, identified by state police as 21-year-old Jakob Lee Haines of Beech Creek, was located at the residence having suffered a single fatal gunshot wound. St. John, 19, was arraigned Saturday morning by Magisterial District Judge Frank Mills, who ordered that the Defendant be denied bail pending preliminary hearing. The Defendant has been committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility while he awaits his first court appearance which is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, March 2,

Jan 21, 2021 LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven City Police are continuing an investigation into an accidental shooting death that occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Youngs Avenue residence. Lock Haven City Police Chief Kristin Smith said the investigation is still underway and declined to give further details of the incident at this time. She said a press release will be issued when the investigation has been concluded. Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna ruled the death accidental. No criminal charges planned from December’s fatal I-80 pileup Updated Jan 14, 2021; LOGANTON – No criminal charges will be filed in relation to last month’s 64-vehicle pileup in a snowstorm on Interstate 80 near Loganton, state police say. The initial investigations are completed into the 11 separate crashes that left tractor-trailer trucks and cars mangled on slightly more than a mile of highway, they said Thursday. “It’s like something you don’t expect to see unless you are in a combat zone,” Scott Kemmerer, Clinton County emergency management director, had said earlier. One driver was killed in the Dec. 16 pileup and another died from what Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna said was sudden cardiac arrest. Some of the 22 injured required hospitalization.

State police ID Interstate 80 crash victims | News, Sports, Jobs

From Staff Reports LOCK HAVEN Pennsylvania State Police have released the names of the two people killed in Wednesday’s crash along Interstate 80 in Greene Township. According to police, the crash victim was Falon Morris, 24, of Hollidaysburg. A man, James Faqua, 56, of Mebane, N.C., died from a medical issue that was not related to the accident. All other crash victims are currently known to be in “stable” condition with varying degrees of injuries. I-80 westbound is partially open (left lane) with no detour. The right lane was expected to be open by last night. The crash was reported during Wednesday afternoon’s snowstorm. The crash took place in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Clinton County between the Loganton and Lock Haven exits.
