Spartanburg Police Department Maj. Art Littlejohn said in a statement warrants have been issued for Jolyne Shamar Nijer Rector-Mills, 17, of 224B James Anderson Lane, Spartanburg.
Mills is charged with murder in the shooting death of Terrell Antonio Cohen, 40, of Spartanburg. Cohen was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday by the Spartanburg County Coroner s Office.
Littlejohn said officers are continuing to search for Rector-Mills.
Officers responded at 2:45 p.m. Thursday to 128 James H. Young St. for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, witnesses told them two people had been shot.
One of the shooting victims was sitting inside a white Chevrolet Impala in front of 128 James H. Young St. The other shooting victim later identified as Cohen was lying in the driveway of 108 James H. Young St., according to a statement from Littlejohn.
The Spartanburg County Coroner s Office has identified a man who was fatally shot Thursday afternoon.
Terrell Antonio Cohen, 40, of Ammons Road, was pronounced dead on the scene shortly before 3 p .m., according to a statement from the Coroner s Office.
A forensics autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

A Spartanburg man was charged with murder Tuesday in connection to the death of a man whose body was found near a homeless camp on Dec. 10 in Spartanburg.
Jerry Lee Grayson, 54, of 470 Yardley Court was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on the murder charge and placed into the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
The Spartanburg Police Department signed warrants for the arrest of Grayson earlier on Tuesday in connection with the death of Stevie Young.
Young was found under a blanket near the camp at Branch and West Main streets, according to a statement from the coroner s office.
Young was pronounced dead at 12:43 p.m. on Dec. 10.
A Spartanburg man has died from injuries received during a shooting in October.
Timothy Keith Thompson, 37, of Walden Circle, died at 6:50 p.m., Friday at Spartanburg Medical Center, according to a statement from the Spartanburg County Coroner s Office.
The Coroner s Office said the Spartanburg County Sheriff s Office is investigating the shooting as a homicide.
A forensic examination is scheduled for Saturday.
Thompson is the second person to die from injuries involving the shooting on Oct. 25 at the home on Walden Circle.
When the Spartanburg County Sheriff s Office responded to the scene in October, the Herald-Journal reported deputies found two people injured and one was pronounced dead.
