Fears pool prospects will dry up amid panic buying, hoarding of chlorine tablets
Suppliers are feeling the pinch of a continent-wide shortage of chlorine tablets, coupled with unprecedented demand for pool products, as people look to create a backyard oasis during yet another pandemic summer.

Of the new cases, four remain under investigation.
Two of local cases were announced yesterday, including a man who tested positive after visiting Mount Druitt Hospital in Sydney s west and his household contact.

Health authorities are still conducting genome testing for the man who tested positive in Mount Druitt to determine where he may have contracted the virus.
There have been an additional two cases in the Northern Beaches and one more case linked directly to the Berala cluster.
The case linked to the Berala cluster has been identified as a woman in her 40s, who is a known close contact of another case.
Fresh virus alerts have been issued for Sydney - including for multiple shops on the Northern beaches and a sports club in the city s West.
People who dined at a Blacktown Workers Sports Club restaurant between 11.40am and 1.30pm on January 3 for more than an hour should self isolate and go for a test immediately.
The case is linked to the club s Grange buffet restaurant.
