For the security of pilgrims and success of the upcoming 60-day long Amarnath Yatra, the security agencies have chalked out a plan in a recent meeting with the Jammu and Kashmir governor, the police official said on Wednesday.

Dr S D Singh Jamwal, Additional Director General of Police felicitated Inspector Rajesh Anand of Security Pool Jammu for clinching Gold medal in recently concluded 58th National Roller Skating Championship, held at Chandigarh (Mohali) from March 31 to April 11. Inspector Rajesh Anand is State Awardee and international referee of Roller Hockey and presently working as coach of Indian Roller Hockey Team. He had participated in 17 international competitions including Asian and World Championships from the year 1987 to 2010.

Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha made these remarks during the closing ceremony of Inter-Zone Sports Meet-2021 of JKP held here at Gulshan Ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Sinha observed that the professionalism and commitment of JKP personnel stand out when it comes to Law enforcement and anti-terror operations.
