Parkland RCMP have put a major dent in organized crime and the illicit drug trade in the region.
Following a lengthy investigation that spanned several months, the Parkland RCMP Drug Unit and Crime Reduction Unit seized what is believed to be the largest amount of illegal drugs ever confiscated in Parkland County.

“This is one of the most significant drug seizures we’ve seen in Parkland”, said Insp. Mike Lokken, detachment commander, Parkland RCMP. “This seizure will undoubtedly have a major impact on the organized crime and illicit drug trade in our area.”
