Developing news, cal fire says a wildfire in lake county has shut down highway 29 near spruce grove road. The problem spot this morning with the full freeway closure, 880 northbound in oakland near 23rd, we had a box truck on fire blocking a couple of lanes. Wood debris apparent ly in lane. Chp shut that down to clean up the debris. Purple is not a good sign. Some red behind that. Try 580 for the time being. Well check back. Developing in the north bay, a fight over friday night lights. San Marin High School was supposed to have its homecoming game tonight but some say the football fields lights are too bright. A judge even issued a restraining order to keep the lights off. We had an earlier accident with debris in lanes. For a time all lanes were shut down. Now youre backed up beyond high street for a twomile delay. Youre about 30 miles an hour at best. So 580 is green. It looks like its your best alternate. Thanks. New developments in the ceasefire between turkey and Syrian Kurdish forces doesnt appear to be working. Kurdish forces say a border town is being attacked by turkey this morning. The deal brokered by the Trump Administration was supposed to order the kurds to withdraw from a border town with turkey. But theres bipartisan backlash because Turkish Forces are allowed to st heres how the president defended the deal last night. It was unconventional what i did. I said theyll have to fight a little while. Sometimes you have to let them fight a little while. Then people find out how tough the fighting is. Sometimes you have to let them fight.
