In surfing, Lennox Head’s Stu Kennedy has finished third in his seeding round heat at Rottnest Island. Kennedy’s board snapped in the first 10 minutes and eventually fell short of world number 5 Jordy Smith and the Central Coast’s Wade Carmichael. Riding the most waves of the heat – Kennedy’s best was only 4.43. He’ll have one last chance in tomorrow’s Elimination Round. (NO AUDIO)
