A local farmer finishes up the 2020 harvest season. (Trojan News)
WORTHINGTON Many people have been affected by the pandemic in one way or another. Unfortunately for rural Minnesota farmers, their experience was much different than most.
Steve Brake, a farmer in southwest Minnesota, talked about the challenges he has faced during 2020. Brake’s main concerns when he learned the news of the shutdown were his livestock.
“It put a bit of pressure on us, especially on management,” he said. “How we were going to save these hogs from being euthanized.”
