MOUNT HOLLY - Our short period of spring-like weather is going back on pause for a bit, as the forecast is calling for waves of heavy rainfall that could drop more than an inch of rain in some parts of New Jersey, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
Most of Wednesday will start us off with clear and sunny skies, along with temperatures rising into the mid 60s and low 70s for most areas across the state, forecasters from the weather service said.
However by Wednesday night, a slow-moving storm system from the Great Lakes will approach the region that will transition the state back to wet weather for a few days.
